What an amazing team this morning. Two gentlemen and a lady were there to make my Kia Sedona happy. Needed an oil change and an inspection. I've never been to a take 5. I was headed to another business. But it was almost walking distance to my house. So I pulled in and the two fellows immediately jumped on my van took care of the oil change. Got the synthetic blend. And they caught my bad air filter beat my glovebox and of course I passed inspection. There high level of professionalism exhibited and there clear unambiguous support of the Military and veterans like me did not go unnoticed by me. I am so pleased with the level of service I received I will come back for more oil changes and inspections. Even if you are not a veteran this location rocks. Very courteous and helpful staff. Joey was great! Went in for oil change and inspection. Found I needed an air filter and wiper blades, but they didn't gouge me on the price. Yeah, I could have gotten them a little cheaper elsewhere, but time is money! Highly recommend this shop. read more

I decided to save my coins and skip the BMW Dealership and go to Take 5. Wrong decision! I normally y pay around $150.00 for oil change and filters. But today at Take 5 I paid $189.00 just for an oil change. I was told it would had been $100.00 but I needed extra oil? They couldn't change my filters because they had no filters for my car! The guy quoted $85 for a conventional oil change on a 2004 Honda Accord 4 cylinder that needs only 4.4 quarts of oil.  I want some of whatever they're smokin'!  Usually I can use a coupon, but he dismissed my coupon inquiry with a wave.  If you're going to triple your prices, you should be a little nicer to the customer who's shocked by the price increase.  I checked the inflation in the last few years on oil, and it's not much more than other things...around 4%.  Amazon has 5qt conventional for $18 and synthetic for $22.  I'm back to doing it myself. read more

Typically, I'm impressed and over satisfied whenever I visit this Take 5 location but not today. It was packed when I pulled up but I'm never in a rush when frequenting places like this. A gentleman bought me a water bottle out and instructed me to pull up to Bay 1. While parked he apologized and suggested that I pull up to Bay 3 instead and if you're wondering yes it was cars behind me. Once inside Bay 3 I was greeted by the tech. After a while, my oil change began. The tech showed me the dirty Air filter and informed me that it was not in stock. He suggests that I get it changed out. I explained that i come here because the air filter is included no apologies were offered or any suggestions as to when another filter would be in stock. After the oil change was complete I was given the total. Luckily, I downloaded a coupon online to save 25% but usually the Technicians have always offered me a discount because I do Rideshare and my vehicle appears as so. I questioned when new air filters would be in and I was told some time this week. Joshua handed me the new oil change sticker to hang in my car. On all of my other visits here and other locations they hang it in the window for me. I had to ask the tech to reset the oil life button in my car and he looked uncomfortable. He went to the computer to research it - I guess. In that time I was able to reset it myself. (Thankfully) I decided not to name drop because the tech was young and perhaps new. He may need additional training. Take 5's are all over the area I think that I will venture out. read more

I have been going to take 5 for years and everyone was very nice and this experience in Harrisburg was no differen. Everyone was extremely nice but I'm almost certain they had no clue what was happening. My husband got the oil changed and ow my car is leaking oil. He said my oil pan threads were wearing out but from what I've read( and know) this is caused by the tool used at oil change places. My car wasn't leaking before the change and I don't believe within a few minutes my oil pan thread would begin leaking the way it is( and I have pictures). The lack of accountability is really what got these 2 stars, and I highly don't recommend going there when they all look scattered( and it is very obviou) read more

Quick and easy service. Brought my fleet vehicle here. I only asked for an oil change, but yet they checked my air filter and wiper blades as well. This is a good thing in my opinion, just know that you will pay a much higher price for the convenience factor of these services. Y'all need to come to Take 5! Seriously the best oil change ever! When they walked out to my car, they brought me a nice, cold bottle of water, which is so appreciated while waiting! I stayed in my car and drove into the car area. They started right away checking all my fluids, air filters, and things like that. Once they were done (I'm about 5 min!) the guy came over and explained how everything was and what they recommended. He knew my car had almost 200,000 miles on it, and he was honest and upfront about what my car needed, and that it would also be reflected on the carfax, so people would know that I kept up with the car. He told me how long everything would take. I was in and out in about 15 min. Very good service! Will definitely come here again! read more

I have never had such a great experience getting an oil change! I had no idea what I was expecting when I pulled up, I just knew they had a good deal and they promised to get it done quickly. And I have to say they delivered on those promises! The staff was quick to greet me and even brought me a bottle water! They looked over my car and gave me the price options before they started. SAVE YOUR CAR...DO NOT GO THERE!! If I could, I would not even rate them one star. Their isn't a rating scale for them. We took our daughter's car to get an oil change. The car died the next day on her way home from school with many warning lights on. The car was towed to a dealership, and their technicians told us it'd be close to the end of the week til they can look at it, which was fine. It turned out that they found no oil and, due to that and its damage, we needed an engine, with an estimate of $8,600 for a used one. I called Take 5 and explained the situation. Take 5 said that their guy did put oil in. One of their managers went to the dealership and even WITNESSED the plug on the oil drainage fall as the dealership's technician had the car lifted. It was obvious that the plug was not tightened properly, and that was the reason the oil leaked out. A claim form was filled, and Take 5 kept on saying that they will call us with a decision. However, no one had called...not even a courtesy call, but that manager LIED that he spoke to my husband and told us they were not going to cover anything. They've lied since knowing this negligence. My daughter no longer has a car...due to one small oil change serviced by Take 5. What we thought was costing us less than $100 ended costing us close to $10,000. If this is the way their business runs, PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE. Because they think they can get away with these situations, their lines of managers would ignore these claims/complaints, like mine and the others I've read in the reviews. Obviously, customer service does not matter to them and, most likely, nor does their reputation. read more

First time coming to a Take 5. Ridiculously efficient! Maybe there for all of 10 minutes. Zero pressure to select more expensive oil options. Checked air filter and told me it was good (never happens at some places!). Seth was super nice young man and organized everything quickly. And less than 5 miles from my home. I would give this location a negative if I could. The manager here cross threaded my oil plug and ruined the hole. I had to bring it to my regular mechanic to install a new oil pan which cost me $472. I presented the invoice and he is refusing to pay for the damage. I filed a complaint with the BBB and he lied through his teeth to the BBB and is not taking responsibility for his actions. I wouldn't take my lawn here for service.. He claims I can't talk to the owner.. Who ever heard of such lies??? read more

Keith, the store manager took care of us today and he was the epitome of customer service. This place got me in and out as promised and was attentive to what we needed. Typically these places put in full court press regarding filters and wipers and the like. Keith made suggestions but there was no pressure on anything. Rondale, who was the gentleman who walked me through my first visit, and the other 2 technicians (I forgot their names) were so nice. I never had to get out of my car, I was offered a water before I even pulled into a bay, they topped all my fluids off for free, filled my tires with air, explained everything they were doing, and I was out of there in less than 10 minutes.
