When my car was ready, I gave them my $15 off coupon and paid. The gentleman told me they provide free top offs on several liquid things for my car between now and my next oil change. This means I don't have to worry about putting in windshield wiper fluid or topping off the oil if needed. Such a relief! The staff here are humble and enjoy what they do. I am from south central MN and have a family mechanic and tow insurance for the distance there for larger issues, but for smaller issues I would like to not have to drive an hour and drop off my car and borrow one and the whole rigamarole. I get a solid, uncomplicated description of the issues otherwise existing in my vehicle as a person without car background, past what I've picked up as a regular commuter, some of what was described to me being more or less what I'd anticipated with a used $3k Toyota Corolla that I've had for a few years now. I appreciate being able to text Lisa regarding issues that come up and negotiate time to come by to get it looked at, so I can pass along accurate written information at my convenience, versus some other auto places in the area I've tried to go through that were phone call only. Neither of us know much about car maintenance, but we immediately pulled off to the side of the road on the intersection between Hwy 7 and Shady Oak Rd. Not five minutes into pulling over, a very generous woman who looked to be in her mid-twenties, wearing glasses, and was driving a dope blue car which I believe was a Toyota FJ60/62 (?) Either way, she dropped her dog off and told us if we were still there she would help us out. She came back just a few minutes later and picked us up and brought us to the O'Reilly just a few minutes away. We told her about this being the second time this has happened and she gave us great advice about our beater of a Ford Escape and how we should get a diagnostic test, check our oil dipstick a lot more frequently than we currently do, and to possibly check if our coolant had a leakage. Before she dropped us off, she told us how her father runs Expedition Autoworks and that it would be worth checking out. I've never once heard of this place as I don't live near the area, but the next time I need car maintenance I will absolutely check out Expedition Autoworks knowing the kindness that woman showed me and my boyfriend today. I wish I would've caught her name, but knowing that there's family of the person who helped us today, I will definitely make the drive and take my business to Expedition Autoworks.
