I safely pulled over (thank goodness I noticed) and found the damage. I called the shop to ask what happened and proceeded to yell at me and said they found it that way (they could have mentioned it on the inspection report). That was a lie, as I had replaced the oil of the car one week before. They should not have released the car to me without telling me about the damage. In fact, I probably would have paid them to fix it. What else did they cover up? Ill bet there was not a nail in my sidewall, they just wanted the money. Do not bring your car here. Sept 4 I bought 4 tires from Tires plus $1744.39. The following week I called to inquire if an alignment was done at the time I purchased the tires. The guy said no and referred me to their sister company Firestone. Sept 25, 2025 Alignment was performed. I upgraded to a lifetime alignments for 208.99. When I made the appointment he said it would take about 2 hours. Done in 40 minutes. I was grateful and drove away. No alignment paperwork was given to be. April 2026 I brought my car into the dealership for service and was told I needed 2 new front tires. I called Tires plus to verify I purchased the tires a few months earlier with 6-8K miles since my alignment? Tires plus agreed it doesn't sound right. I brought my car in to Tires Plus and spoke to Alan. He berated me and said I needed new tires. He said he doesn't know how bad I drive and referred me to the alignment people and said it wasn't aligned right. He gave me a copy of my alignment (pre and post). I called Firestone and he told me they got new computers so all data is in a box but come in and they will look at my tires. The guy said they put the wrong tires on my car and that is the reason. He showed me the warning that you would have to bypass in order to order these tires for my car. Firestone still no paperwork on original alignment- said he has 2 more boxes to go through. I called and filed an original complaint with their company. I called again 3 days later and the complaint was closed by Alan from tires plus. He said he took care of it. I said no he didn't, I want to talk to someone about how he treated me AND about my alignment. I don't think they ever did one at Firestone. I called the complaint line again- they escalated it to the area, then division, then corporate ladder several times-not one person has called me back.

Took it back promptly and they claimed it was a "faulty crush washer on the drain plug". If I had to guess, it was just installed improperly and they blamed it on a defective washer... Fast forward a to today where I am driving a couple hundred miles later and the skid plate under the engine is scraping on the ground and is barely hanging on by a single bolt. I am guessing they improperly installed the skid plate after the oil change as well. They were nice enough to send some kids over to clean up the oil spill in my driveway, but overall I would strongly recommend taking your car anywhere else but here.

Was charged an additional inspection fee for something I did not ask for as well as being asked no discount for it taking 7 1/2 hours for something that should maybe take 30 to 45 minutes. When I asked about it all this, I was told I wouldn't get my keys back.

The repair was completed, and I left assuming everything was taken care of. The next day my tire pressure light came on. I figured it probably just needed to be reset after the service. By Monday morning, the tire was completely flat. I called the store expecting them to take responsibility and help resolve the issue, especially since the tire was under warranty and they had just serviced it. Instead, I was told I would need to tow the vehicle back in. I explained that I didn't think I should have to pay for a tow when the problem appeared to be related to the work they had just done. Rather than working toward a solution, the manager, Jonathan, became combative and argumentative. The tone was defensive and dismissive, not helpful. When I asked for the name of his manager or someone I could escalate the issue to, he refused to provide it and acted like there was no one above him. I ended up having to call the main customer service line myself to try to get this resolved. I did not create this issue. The tire was covered under warranty, I brought it in for repair, and shortly after the service the tire was completely flat. A reasonable response would have been an apology, arranging a tow, and correcting the problem. Instead, I was met with resistance and poor customer service. Really frustrating experience, and not what you want when dealing with something that directly affects vehicle safety.

Lucky for me - I called ahead and found out that a) there was no line, and b) they were doing a $12 off any oil change that day. By the time I arrived, paid for, and got my car back, I believe it had been no more than 20 minutes. It was the experience I was exactly looking for! The lobby was pretty small, with only a handful of chairs for customers to sit at. They do offer coffee, water, and I believe tea products for folks who want/need it while they were waiting. I would just keep in mind that the price for the oil change will likely be an extra $5 than advertised because of the oil filter change. Other pros: they offer free topping off of oil and other engine fluids between oil changes at Jiffy Lube, they are quick, friendly employees, and go through all of the inspections of the oil change with you at your car. They also vacuum out the interior of your car and wash your windows. I got more than I anticipated going here! Highly recommend.

This all started by requesting an appointment online. When you request an appointment, it states that the appointment is not confirmed but a representative will contact you to confirm the time and date. I looked through all of my phone calls and emails (spam included) and recieved nothing. My appointment was never confirmed. But I learned they did walk-in, so I did a walk in instead. I did this at 3:30pm. The shop closes at 6pm. When I arrived the man sitting at the front desk was very rude and contradictory in all of his sentences. He stated that a diagnostic testing would be $206 for my car and would take over an hour to do (keep this in mind for further into my review). I have two lights on. 1. Low Brake Fluid. 2. Stabilitrak. I shared that my car had a low blake fluid light, and that online GM's are very common to have Stabilitrak problems when there is low brake fluid. The man finally agreed to come look at my car (but wasn't happy about it after cutting me off constantly in all of my sentences). He opened the hood outside and ask if any pedals were low. I told him no, and offered him my keys if he wanted to take a look. He refused to take my keys and started walking back to the building, turned around and said "actually let me take it for a drive". The drive was around to the back of the building where he pulled it inside. The car was not touched after it was pulled inside (literally watched through the windows). During the time that my car sat there, another customer came in for an appointment with a different car. The man was also very rude to this gentleman and was cutting off all of his sentences as well. During this converstation, the man at the counter shared that it would be $104 to run diagnostics on this vehicle (which is crazily $102 less then he quoted me? But dont worry this gets even better.) He also told the gentleman with the car that it probably wouldnt get done today because he was sending his guy home (mechanic). Keep it mind, it is 3:30pm and the shop does not close until 6pm. He then goes into the back and pulls my car back around. He comes inside with my keys and says "we dont do diagnostics here so you will have to bring it somewhere else". Quite literally CarX does diagnostics? Especially since YOU QUOTED ME A DIAGNOSTIC COST?! You arent the jiffylube across the street who quite literallly does oil changes all day. You just didn't want to. Now I cant wait for the response that they leave to every single negative review on here. "[Persons name] please contact at Customer Service at 1-800-876-6676, ext 2. Thank you." Take ownership for the way you treat people, because what you are doing isn't working. Maybe you should live by your own motto while you are at it... "For Service you can Trust."

To begin with, the Groupon listing showed a Car-X located in Eden Prairie - good location for me, so I went ahead with the purchase. When I called to make the appointment, a woman speaking very broken English indicated that the Eden Prairie location had been closed for MONTHS. Hmmm - why is the location still showing as available on Groupon? She had no idea. Next closest location was Golden Valley. When I called in, they indicated I could just drop my vehicle off ANYTIME without an appointment and they would call when it was done. Unfortunately, I had no ride. When I told the gentleman this, he suggested - twice - that I "Uber" my car in. Someone please tell me why I would use Groupon to save $30, only to spend $40-60 to Uber to and from Car-X? I asked if they had a waiting room and the customer service rep on the phone indicated they did, so I made an appointment for 1:00 pm on Tuesday afternoon and opted to wait it out. I made it into the Golden Valley Car-X at about 12:30 pm. Older of the two men at the counter checked me in, getting a bit miffed when I told him that I had a Groupon and he said he had to redo my paperwork - he wished I would have told him that before he went through the work of putting my information into the computer. I reminded him that I had told him I had the Groupon when I made the appointment and was given a side-eye. Took my keys at 1:00 pm. He had told me when I set the appointment that alignments take about 1.5-2 hours, so I went to the "waiting room" to settle in. While I was waiting, I couldn't help but overhear the phone calls coming in - folks all being told to just "come on in and we'll take care of you right away today, no appointment necessary!" This on almost every call that was answered. Jeez, I thought - great service here! Yeah, right. At about 3:30 PM (yes, 2.5 hours later), a very wary-looking service tech came out into the waiting area and when I asked about my vehicle, he said it was just then being taken for a test drive BEFORE THEY DID THE ALIGNMENT. WHAAAAAAAAAAT? It hadn't been started yet? He said that he was the one and only tech on the job and was doing all he could to get to all of the vehicles as quickly as possible. He apologized and said that he had told the customer service rep in the front that my car should be started on since I had been there actually waiting for the job to be done and he was told to put others in front of me - as they walked in without appointments. When I asked how much longer it was going to be, he said once he got it back into the shop, he could get it done for me in 20 minutes. Again - WHAAAAAAAT? I was told a 4-wheel alignment took 1.5 - 2 hours. Am I supposed to feel secure in the quality of the work done in 20 minutes? Um. Sure. About 30 minutes later, the younger of the two C S Reps came into the waiting room and said my car was ready to go. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the amount of time I had waited, but once again was told I could have Ubered the car in and not had to wait. At this point, he got MY stink-eye. When I mentioned overhearing the phone calls and customers being told to "come right in", he said it was COMPANY POLICY to tell everyone that to get them in the door. OK, then. To be fair, this younger gentleman was at least attempting to be pleasant. On top of everything else, I was told my balance due after the Groupon was just over $14 for "fees and taxes" - no offer of any sort of break or compensation for the horrible service. (It was in the fine print on the Groupon website, so okay.) So there were a total of THREE employees manning this Car-X location. And only one of them was a service tech. Please, please, please - save yourself the headache. Pay full price for a wheel alignment somewhere else. It is well worth $120-150 not to waste half of your day for questionable service at Car-X.

Better yet, the worker tells me they will have my car done by "the end of the day", just to call them an hour before close, get put on hold twice, and whined to by the worker that he's the only one working.
