I drove 30 minutes to Take 5 because of the reviews saying how honest they are. The oil change I chose said $85 (because they don't recommend the $49 oil change for my Mazda CX9). Apparently an oil change doesn't include an oil filter, that's an extra $14. And there's a $7 service fee. They checked the cabin air filter, it was really dirty. They said it was $50 but they could give it to me for $35. I thought that was alright because earlier that day they had sent me a $25 coupon via text that I was also going to use. When I got the bill I questioned why they hadn't taken the $15 off of the cabin filter price. They said they can only take one coupon.... I rated them 2 stars instead of one because the guy couldn't have been nicer. I'm sure he was only doing what the manager or owner told him to do. read more

Had a great experience at Take 5. I came in for an oil change, oil filter, and cabin air filter replacement. Zach was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain each step of the service. He thoroughly answered all of my questions and never made me feel rushed. The service is a bit pricey, but the personalized attention and excellent customer service made it worth it. Waited almost an hour in the heat to get in for service. I don't know what their name implies, but perhaps it could mean they skim off 5% of the oil? My oil was not completely filled as determined by my mechanic when I had it inspected. read more

After waiting in line for 25 minutes, a car drives up into the lane to our right, beside the truck we've been sitting behind. A service tech walks out from the service bay and asks us to back up because he "wanted us to back up so he could move the truck in front of us because the right lane was going to open first and he was there before that car." After we backed up, the truck moved over and as we were going to move up, the car that came 25 minutes after us pulled into our lane, ahead of us. We tried to contact someone but they were all inside the service area. The car that was being serviced moved out and the car that came 25 minutes after us moved into the bay. The truck that was there before us was now to our right, in the middle lane, still outside with us. The service tech that asked us to back up, so the truck could be moved to the middle lane to lessen his wait, walked out and I got his attention. I explained we were in line for 25 minutes before the car ahead of us was moved in front of us, apparently by this service tech, which was now in the bay getting ready to be serviced, before us and the truck that was there before we were. The tech said, "well I don't know the times everyone got here or the order they are in." But he knew enough to move the truck to the middle lane and the car to our lane. This tech took the time to move the truck but acted like he didn't know what was happening when we asked about the rotation and our spot being passed onto another vehicle. Maybe it was one of his buddies? We were so frustrated that we wasted a total of 40 minutes of our time and this service tech did not give a rat's behind. Very poor customer service, I should have heeded the warnings on Yelp and Google. Maybe they should assign numbers to the vehicles when they write the other information on the windshield and leave a cars length of space between the people who are waiting and the service area so they can call the lowest number car each time to the next available service bay. That's treating your customer fairly which is real customer service. There was no value because we left without service. The cheaper pricing, though not by much, is not worth the aggravation! Don't let the 8pm close time or the open bays lure you into a false sense of their ability to change your oil. I was a drive up at 6:30pm on 7/9 and was told by their employee that "there's no oil changes, I'm eating." The owner would benefit by sending the help home at 6 so they can eat and save the money they're wasting on lights and payroll when no services are being offered. read more

During a VERY long road trip, I found my car in need of an oil change in Lakeland FL. Take 5 got good reviews, so I pulled up to the service bay at about 9:00am on a Wednesday morning. I was directed in to one of the service bays within 3-4 minutes, and Xavier and Jose' went to work. The oil change was a breeze, and I was then shown my air filter, and it was FILTHY. (Photo shown.) New air filter added, and I was on my way quickly. I could not be happier, and for the remaining 2,000 miles of our road trip, my MPG increased by about 7%. GREAT job guys! read more

This is my typical go to spot for oil changes purely based off of their speedy service and consistency. I also love the fact that they offer you free water bottles or soft drinks. It is the little things like that that I value as good customer service. However I did notice the price increases and I personally do not place that high of a value on oil changes. For the price that I am paying I might as well go to the dealership however I rather keep my convenience of staying in my car. Still Take Five will always be a repeat service for me. read more

I took me car in & there was a passenger ahead of me so I waited, but then someone else came in & it looked like he was a good friend of antwone's so they did him next. then antwone took out the trash all while I was waiting!! after 20 minutes he finally came over to talk to me & explained why I was there. Never have I ever felt more comfortable (mind you,you don't even have to get out of your car as they change your oil ) during a routine oil change visit. Not only do they get the job done but Michael and Lane (might've gotten his name wrong but I know it started with an L & it was only Michael and him working) make you feel like you've known them for years in the process. Never use this place. Took car in on Sunday. Cost 154.00 for oil change and filter. Light for oil came on and check engine light. Took to a car place to have it checked out. They left tools inside and also used thin oil. To my guess probably watered down. Now getting oil change done. Worse place ever and way over priced!!! Very unhappy Customer. Waited a whole hour just for antwan to come over and tell me I had to wait a whole other hour, meanwhile he was pulling in cars from behind me to empty bays. I left for 10 mins and came back to 3 diff cars in the bays. He was completely dismissive and said it didn't make a difference if we waited or not. He also said it would take him 45 mins just do a top off on the car he pulled from behind me lol I think he needs some training or a new job. Careless with your vehicles factory parts and management is dismissive and unconcerned. I've been using this location for 3 years. Last spring I had the sound and splash gaurd under the engine area replaced by the dealership due to it being deformed and damaged. The very next time I had the oil changed at this location, they left screws out and incorrectly installed it, leaving it hanging down and susceptible to damage. When I took it back in for inspection, the manager (Joe) was very dismissive and unconcerned. He had to go back under twice to confirm the screws missing, basically accusing me of lying initially, then dismissing it as only a couple. Even if it was only one screw, it's not his place to decide if they are important, those screws belong there for a reason, and it's not his car to make that judgement. Additionally, after I had to insist, he went back under to reinstall it correctly, but instead of removing the remaining screws and installing it correctly, he bent it into place, which stresses the gaurd in that area and leads to fatigue and early failure. He insisted this also didnt matter, despite the fact it's not how it was designed to be installed. He said he would be referring it up to his general manager, but I have yet to hear back, which is why I took my car to Jiffy and will take our other two there also. read more

I have had my oil change here before - wasn't the best experience but my vehicle called for a visit. They didn't check any of my filters, only topped off one fluid. And when I asked them to fill my tires before I left they said they couldn't. Everyone was standing around vaping and I had to ask for everything they were already suppose to do. read more

He showed me my filter was very dirty and explained what happens when it is dirty and I was the one who said let's go ahead and replace it. I've got my oil change there several times for the 49.99 price. This time I went back and they said that that particular brand oil was discontinued but they still had on their selections of 49.99 price okay just dis continued oil but not the special right it's still on the list of things that you can have right wrong that means that the 49.99 special is no longer available. So he gave me a coupon for $10 and I got the I'm thinking that's a lot of money for six quarts of oil in 5 minutes of your time but you know things change the catcher was when I got ready to go they couldn't even afford to put the little sticker with my next oil change on and with that I said I'll take it to my dealership I'll wait an hour read a book and have a latte while I wait. I had to tell them 6... pulled straight in they started working on my truck and I didn't leave until 30 minutes later. They were not busy... only one other car there.
