Where do I begin? First off I went for a simple oil change, tire rotation and transmission fluid flush. They call me mid service and try to say that my vehicle was having a bunch of other issues and refused to change the transmission fluid stating it was going to cause more problems than good because the transmission "adjusted" to the old fluid. They then told me no other mechanic would change the transmission fluid because it was so old. Well I went ahead and allowed them to complete the oil change, the tire rotation and a couple of other things they recommended. I then drove home and noticed the car making some unfamiliar new sounds. I wait a couple of days, poor decision on my end, and noticed the oil level was below the low mark. I went ahead and put several quarts of oil in to bring it up to full. Well I decided right then and there I will no longer use jiffy lube for any maintenance. I was going to leave it alone, until today I was told by my mechanic who was completing everything as requested up above, including the transmission fluid flush, that the previous mechanic cross threaded the lug nuts on the wheels and sheered several of the bolts off. Luckily the mechanic I typically use was honest with me and gave an estimate on the high and low end. I would never recommend this shop to anyone, obviously they are all too incompetent to even be in this field. If you need quality maintenance done, take your vehicle right down the road to Elite Automotive. They are family owned and the friendliest staff I have ever dealt with. If they make a mistake they will own up to it, Jiffy Lube on the other hand, well they are just out to take your money. read more

Tyler, the technician, was excellent. He had a great personality, strong people skills, and you could genuinely tell he cares about doing a good job. I truly appreciated his professionalism and the quality of his work. Unfortunately, my experience with management -- specifically Frankie -- was very disappointing. Communication about pricing and service options was unclear from the start. We came in with a coupon for a conventional oil change, but before we were given the opportunity to confirm what type of oil we wanted, they assumed synthetic and proceeded without clearly reviewing the price difference with us first. By the time we realized what had happened, the oil had already been put in the vehicle, and we were essentially left with no choice but to pay significantly more than we intended. There was no real discussion, no clear breakdown of options, and no agreement on pricing beforehand. That is not how customer service should work. Customers should be presented with clear choices and transparent pricing before work is performed -- not after the fact. It felt like we were backed into paying more than expected, and that's frustrating. Situations like this are exactly why many car owners who know their way around vehicles prefer to handle maintenance themselves. It makes you wonder how many customers who aren't familiar with car services end up paying for upgrades or add-ons they didn't knowingly choose. I got a oil change. They could not check the transmission fluid on a standard transmission truck. There mechanic said this. It says they check everything. My check engine light is on. They said nothing about it.. a place that checks and changes fluid. Can not do that. What do they lie about. At 2pm on Sat 12 of June. I needed a quick oil change. Stopped at Jiffy Lube. It was a brand new location and looked very clean. There were three workers there with nothing to do. Their uniforms were too clean, as if they had not done any work that day. I asked how much a semi synthetic oil change would cost for my Toyota. I notice they all smiled, rolled their eyes back, as if they knew what the customers reaction would be once they let out the price; 85 dollars. If you want Full Synthetic it's more. Alex saved my sons life when Firestone allowed my 17 year old son drive on a faulty master cylinder that they replaced and they refused to fix it until Alex took his time, investigated in detail and since no more break issues on his car. I went to this location to have an oil change and car serviced. There were several issues with this experience. First, I am a nurse and first responder. I asked if you had any offers available for us. I had just called another oil change place and they were running half off for us, making an oil change $42.95. However, they could not fit me in that day. It was my only day to have this done. Your employee said there were no offers for us. That's disappointing, but oh well. Being my only day off I was stuck with Jiffy Lube. Then I asked if tire rotation was included in the price. It was, and it was clear he did not want to do the tire rotation. I'm guessing that is why he didn't tell me about it being included in the price. I didn't want them messing my tires up, so I declined the service. Once things got underway I noticed there was another car pulling into the bay next to me. The employee assisting that car was checking all the car lights and functions. Having the customer do their turn signals, brake & reverse lights, etc.. This was NOT done for my car. I could have a light out or something not working and I would not know. I'm really upset because I feel like I got the employee that just didn't give a crap about anything. I shouldn't go to Jiffy Lube and hope I get the employee that will actually take care of my car and me. What if someone got hurt because of something he missed, didn't do, or did wrong? He did say I needed a new air filter. I told him that was fine and to go ahead and put a new one in for me. Then he said, "Oh, we don't have one here. You'll have to wait another 20+ minutes for one to be delivered." Yeah, right! Just one more thing he didn't want to do, and by telling me I would have to wait he was hoping I'd just say no. He said my filters were so new they didn't carry them yet. My car is a 2017. I'm sure you make a lot of money off of upselling things like air filters and are not going to wait until a car is 3 years old to start carrying that kind of air filter. You would go out of business. I am not even sure if my fluids were topped off. No mention of me needing a certain amount of wiper fluid or any other fluids were given. Usually, the oil stick is shown to me to verify it's new and clean oil. Then they say how low the fluids are they tell me you needed X amount of this and we topped it off for you. None of that was done. I asked for my tire pressure to be checked and I know it was not done. Typically, the tech says what the current pressure is, and what the pressure needs to be and that the tires are being filled up. At the end, he did give me a $15 coupon. However, in my mind, the service and experience were so poor that I didn't feel even with the coupon that it was worth what I paid. read more

The experience was alright overall, I was in and out fast. Nice inside waiting area. However it says in the invoice I was given that they washed my windows, when in actuality I saw them wipe a dry rag on them, spreading around dirt for no reason. Absolutely one of the WORST experiences in all my years of going to Jiffy Lube. What's sad is it happened at two location today in Lakeland Florida. 1st location hwy 98 didn't want to serve me at all because I got there and I didn't have my fleet card. The 2nd location (Florida Ave. I went directly to this location after the 1st location disappointed me) and got there 30 minutes before they closed. I was told that I would not be seen because they were closed. On their website it says they close at 4pm. I let them know that, the attendant to me "ya we are closed" so I asked to speak to a manager. The manager did let me get my oil change only after I asked to speak to him. If I can help it I WILL NEVER EVER GO TO A JIFFY LUBE EVER AGAIN. Such a disappointing experience.
