No Stars!! Horrible Experience - Damaged engine Very disappointed with Take 5 Oil Change. As a woman, I felt pressured to approve additional work during my oil change instead of feeling like I was being given honest, helpful service. My 2002 Toyota RAV4 overheated while driving. The temperature went from cold to hot, steam came from under the hood, and I discovered there was no coolant in the radiator and the cap was not properly tightened. I am now having my vehicle inspected for possible damage. Basic fluid checks and making sure everything is properly secured should be part of a service visit. They took about 15 mins from start to finish. Work truck was running fine before and still is running fine, so they didn't break anything. I found out when I was there that they give discounts for fleet vehicles. Good to know. There were 2 guys when I pulled up. Both were friendly and nice. Nothing to complain about. The prices are a little bit higher than the place I go to for my personal vehicle, but I'd consider that a convenience fee. My boss takes his personal vehicles to this chain, which is why he wanted us to start taking the work trucks here. The missing star is because he didn't reset the "oil change required" error message (I noticed when I was already almost back to work), but one of our shop guys did it when I got back. read more

Went in for a oil change and one of the technicians went to wipe fingerprints off my hood with a dirty rag leaving scratches along my freshly paint corrected and ceramic coated paint. Noticed the scratches later that day and went in the next day and as I was explaining what happened all the technicians tried to gaslight me there weren't scratches. Called customer support which was an absolute nightmare, they would have me on hold for 30 minutes and when they'd answer and I'd explain what happened they'd have to send me to a different line in which I'd have to wait 30 minutes again. It's been about a month of me contacting them and still nothing has been done about it read more

A massive shout-out to Jordan and Devontay for their excellent service this morning. My wife has taken our vehicle here maybe 3-4 times for oil changes and this morning was a joint-effort and I got to see these guys do quick and excellent work on our vehicle. I loved that they checked all our fluids and showed me the terrible state our coolant was in - saved me a ton of cash and potential breakdown further down the road. It was a no-nonsense explanation and was so much cheaper than other nearby shops and dealerships. In fact, in some instances it was half the cost! I was supremely impressed with speed of service, explanations and attention to detail. I even loved the call-out and noted responses as these chaps went through their processes, confirming each stage so nothing is missed, providing me with the utmost confidence in the workmanship. Runnnnn!!!! do not let them touch your vehicle. I was a fool. I pulled in to get air in my tire. It was pressure to pop my hood and they immediately started an oil change that I really didn't need, but I went along with it anyway cause the time was appearing. Please just take your car to a dealership for an oil change... Pulled out of the driveway and within 1 mile on my car broke down. And it hasn't been the same since... Zero stars. read more

Customer service was the worst. Got my oil change on 6/30. @130pm I get it, it's hot to work and change a truck oil. But the eye rolling? The eye rolling once we pulled up, and attitude stance. They didn't ask for what service we wanted, the lady right away chose it for us. And when we asked if we can change it to economy service it all went down hill from there. Both men were very kind. Did such a great job with changing the oil and taking care of my truck. They made jokes and made me feel less tense. I won't put full names on here, but men names started with J and B. And the women's name started with A. She was very rude with her eye rolling, her remarks, and her attitude. read more

Unfortunately this is one of the worst oil change shops I wish that I never went to. Went in for a simply oil change, and came out wth my entire undercarriage dragging because the technicians ( who apparently are all training) forgot to put 3 out of 5 of my screws back on, therefore the remaining screws were lost and I was lucky enough to catch it before getting on the road / highway. Came back the next day to inform them of their error and technician on duty and asked for it to be fixed and rectified. After calling his manager, who was not working, He informs me that the only thing they can do is offer me half off the next oil change. While his manager is yelling expletives on the phone. I barely got to meet the manager, but based off of the experience I had, Not just in person, but with her verbally, I won't be coming back to this location and I would not recommend it either. there are technicians are not skilled and their customer service training needs work. read more

i was greeted right away and they got to work on my car immediately, there was 5 of them working on different parts of my car without me even having to ask all i said was that i wanted an oil change and they filled my tires up, looked into both air filters, replaced my engine filter and on top of that gave me $20 off, yeah i paid about $30 more than what i usually do at most places i've been too but honestly the whole express experience was worth it, i was in and out with 10 mins which i'm used to waiting at lease 45 mins so i was impressed, they said they'd top off my oil for free if i go in half the time before my oil change is required again which is a huge perk, they kept giving me suggestions on what i should replace and offered me a discount on everything they mentioned, i enjoyed my experience here and i would recommend this business to anyone! read more

I went and got an oil change and paid with a credit card , much to my surprise it kept declining and it was a brand new card. I was sitting in my car not knowing what to do as I didn't have any other form of payment. I called my credit card company and for some reason said this merchant didn't accept my card. I didn't know what to do since they already did my oil change . Manager Ryan was so nice and professional and gave me a 100% discount. I was stunned and shocked that they did this. I felt horrible and never intended for this to happen. Good things come to good people. With that said the staff at this location was absolutely incredible. What a genuine heartfelt experience! I'm disappointed because I usually love this place. I never go to this location so I guess that's on me. So this review is not about the business as a whole, rather just this specific location. I went in at 5:20pm today and there were 2 bays open and a total of 5 of us in line. After 20 minutes of the same cars being worked, an employee came out and talked to ALL of the cars in front of me and offered them water bottles. The employee gave me a head nod and didn't come talk to me or offer water. After the clock struck 5:50 and the line hadn't moved, I left. I understand I came at a busy time and things happen that are out of employee's control. But to acknowledge everyone there except me and just nod at me after I've been in line for 30 minutes at a place called "take FIVE" no. I was so mad at the lack of customer service. I'll spend the extra cash and go to Valvoline. read more

Dillon who seems to be the Manager is so rude ! And closed the shop 40 minutes before actually closing time. I do not recommend this place to anyone who wants their car serviced correctly. It is a bunch of rude, young adults that want to get in and get out of work early and do everything in a rush. read more

The workers were great and not the issue. The issue is they use the gimmick of a 29.99$ oil change to get you in line for their "new store opening" then you get up there to find out well that's just for "regular oil" but not synthetic. the synthetic oil change will be 89.99$. 70 percent of vehicles since 2019 take synthetic oil. Most vehicles that still take regular oil have lots of miles on them and you have to pay extra for the "high mileage" oil change as well. Take 5 knows this so you get in line and once you pull your car in they drop all the real prices on ya. So if you want to pay about 100$ for an oil change go here. If you want to pay 29.99$ go somewhere else. Again the workers are great and not the issue at all. It's the false advertising that bothers me. You expect to spend 30-35$ and leave with a bill over 80$ read more

I came in for an oil change and the service was great and very quick, about 10-15 minutes of them actually doing the change. The only thing is it's pretty expensive. My last oil change somewhere else was about $60 and here is was $90. read more

I took my car in for an oil change as I was there I was told I needed an air filter the 2 techs working that particular Sunday did not look to happy of being there the one tech that was underneath the vehicle was having a hard time and was cursing and the other tech was dropping screws to the filter cover the very next day we noticed all clips to the air filter were broken also screws were stripped and missing I called the shop manager he asked for me to bring vehicle back he wanted to put in random screws my husband informed him I wanted a new filter cover we were informed that he needed to speak to his manager and we would receive a call it's been 1 week and nothing also over the weekend I was traveling to Sedona and I started hearing a loud dragging noise from the bottom of my car I stopped and it was my oil pan cover that also was not put back properly there was no screws it was only holding on to 2 clips .this is horrible service and unprofessional management. read more
