Stripped my wifes oil plug (using a Dewalt impact) and when they pulled it out knowing it was leaking and stripped ( and the manager told the tech to push out), they blew the engine. Now the representative from the "third party" (which is Take-5) is "trying to get our claim denied" put that way in the email sent to us. Our representative laughed at us and said "You aren't going to see any paperwork from us". I said you are third party so everything should be shared... she laughed at us again. The shop Take-5 towed it to, told the representative in front of us "it was 100% their fault" The Tech also overcharged us and told us he would refund us 100%. Havent seen the refund and waiting to hear back after a month it is denied since our representative is trying to make that happen. When I pulled up the Tech was yelling back and forth with the customer in the other bay. Talking to and discussing options of a class action lawsuit for the amount of issues they wont accept responsibility for and the issues they are causing. The tow truck driver said on average they remove 6 to 12 vehicles they screw up a week. That is 1 tow company at 1 store. They dont want to take responsibility and have rude people laughing at your misfortune lets do the same, more info to come. read more

Zero stars. Terrible experience at Take 5. The staff was very rude, gave me the wrong service time, and handled the whole situation poorly. Their uniforms and appearance looked unprofessional, and the overall service was awful. I definitely wouldn't recommend this location they need serious improvement in customer service and professionalism. read more

Wife took car to get oil change they talked her into a coolant flush. They flushed coolant now car is overheating. Which never had that problem before. Their response is they will tow it to their facility and check it out but In meantime she has no car cause of their incompetence. Stay away from this place read more

I went to Take 5 in Twinsburg today for an oil change. Right off the bat, the tech tells me that the air filter for my car isn't in stock, but they would have it tomorrow. I said I don't need to have it replaced, and he proceeded to tell me that, yes, I do. Mind you, this was before anyone even looked under the hood! I had the filter replaced 3000 miles ago at my last oil change, so I asked to see it, and the tech at Take 5 told me I couldn't. He said it's encased, and you can't see it. Strange.... I just saw it a few months ago at another oil change place. I asked them, so I can't get my oil changed today? Another tech came out and said no, he didn't recommend it, as the filter should be changed every oil change, or I risk doing major engine damage. How can you tell people they must change an air filter or risk engine failure, but then refuse to show it to them as proof it needs to be replaced? You know when you feel like you're being up-sold, or taken advantage of? That was me today. I said no thanks, and left. I ended up going to Valvoline for my oil change. I asked to see the air filter, and the tech there popped it out in less than 30 seconds and showed it to me. It was clean. The tech there said it didn't need to be changed yet. I told him what Take 5 said, and he rolled his eyes and chuckled, and told me I did the right thing by leaving. I'll never go back to Take 5. What a rip off. read more

I have had good luck in the past but this time I was the first car behind a car in the bay and it took over an hour for them to start my oil change. About one hour and 15 minutes and my oil change only took about 10 minutes. Only two people working and I don't know what took so long. They were polite but not even any recognition that we had been waiting so long. Gentlemen to my left was probably there for 1.5 hrs. They did 2 cars while I was waiting in one hour. Took my pickup to Take 5 at 8890 Darrow Rd. Twinsburg Oh 44087 on 03/18/22. On 5/24/22 this is what happened (see photo). Had it towed to my mechanic. He told me the oil pan drain plug was missing. Luckily I pulled over in time and didn't damage the engine. Went back to Twinsburg Take 5, and showed them what happened. They told me that was impossible for the plug not to be tightened correctly. So they are saying it's not possible for their staff to make a mistake (they are perfect). They never admitted any mistakes on there part. They refused any compensation for my expenses (rental car, oil fill and new filter, cleaning the oil from the underside of my truck, and of course a new drain plug. They did offer 4 free oil changes, why I don't know if they never make a mistake. I refused the offer. Like I'm going to give them four more shots at blowing up my engine. read more

They were so fast and so friendly! They listed my options for hi mileage oil and I decided to go with the more expensive one because I drive all over NE Ohio for work. They filled up my l washer fluid and told me about my air filter. I knew something was wrong with it because my AC was just blasting warm air and I would smell some rancid smells with the heat on. I got $12 off the air filter change and had a $10 off coupon from their website for being a first time customer. Everyone was so nice and so fast. 10/10 read more

Fast and efficient- friendly service. I was offered a cold bottle of water once I arrived which I thought was a nice gesture. Both guys working were well mannered and professional. Lots of times quick oil change places feel shady, offering every add-on to nickel and dime you. The price seemed fair and was a bit less than what I expected to pay. Did I mention it was fast? You know when you need an oil change and the indicator starts flashing on the dashboard? Literally it is yelling at you "YOU ARE PAST DUE!" Well that is where I was at yesterday on my way home from work when I figured I better take care of it because I need my car to get to work. I pass by here on my way home and this is where I went last time as well. I pulled in a little before 6 and waited just a couple of minutes for Zack to guide me into the bay. He was finishing up on another car and then came over to me. I gave him my little sticker and he got to work. He did a couple of things and then he and the other worker were bantering back and forth (sorry don't know his name) and then Zack said let's see how fast I can get you done! He was literally done in like 11 minutes (I know because I timed him!). I was in and out of there in no time! Great work and friendly workers...what more could you want!? The only good thing about this place is I get free oil changes ONLY because of where I bought my car. They off free oil changes. My first problem is when they left a rag on my engine. Well, a lot must have changed since the last reviews. I don't Know where to begin. Firstly, I don't know where they dig up these employees but personality must not have been something they cared about. They will try to force their premium synthetic on you. And also will tell you that you void your cars warranty by putting conventional in the car, and when you keep saying no to their overpriced premium synthetic, they get attitudes and treat you like dog shit and repeatedly tell you that you're going to damage your car. Listen fool, the owners manual says conventional is just fine for my car. I think I would know. Secondly, I don't need your attitude. Thirdly, when I tell you no, it does not mean to keep pushing my buttons trying to push $60+ synthetic oil on me. It means you shut your mouth, do what I ask, and put the over priced conventional into my car as desired. Save yourself irritation and money. Go to Valvoline. Literally half the price and the employees treat you with a little thing called kindness and respect. I once met an employee from here who told me "we actually care about our customers". Yeah brah.
