I waited 50 minutes (4th car) only to be told that they cannot change my powering steering fluid, a special tool was needed, not true, nor could they top off brake fluid. If I wanted oil change only it would be another 45 minutes. Two people working on a busy Saturday. Took my Lincoln MKC for an oil change on 4/1, the day before a trip to South Carolina. I reached my destination the following evening and noticed the engine splash guard was hanging low on one side. Being 500 miles from home, and no tools or garage to work in, I had no choice but to continue to drive it as it was. Now, I'm sitting at a dealership hoping they can fix it. When I tell you it was a double line. The gentleman came out and offered everyone a cold water. Then he was so pleasant he makes you want to wait for the service. Ethan changed my air filters (one I didn't know existed. The manager was so polite as well... on a scale of 1-10 I GIVE THIS PLACE A 20 hands down! I have gone there 7/8 times in the past. Take 5 put the wrong oil in my car on w150 and I been driving with the wrong oil for 4 days now heard a noise in my engine and that's when I find out they put the wrong oil in side my car. Up on finding they did wrong I take my car up there and explain the problem said it wasn't the wrong oil. I can't recommend this place at all. I have been out of work for quite some time and finally had $30 for the oil change special. I was pushed into a more expensive one- twice as much by the tech. I felt like I had no choice. Every dollar is important right now. I told the guy I couldn't afford it but he kept pressuring me. I feel like I've been scammed. Avoid this place! read more

Worst experience. My son had an oil change early June. The staff was rude and obnoxious. They were supposed to give him a discount on a filter and was given some kind of song and dance. Fast forward to August. I noticed oil on the garage floor. Took the car to the Ford dealership because we have an extended warranty. Turns out, Take 5 did not tighten the oil cap and 3/4 of the oil had leaked out of the car. The filter was soaked, oil was covering all aspects of the engine. $388 later, the engine was cleaned and filter replaced. I called Take 5 and they said because we did not take the car back to them, they would not help. No way would I take a car to them ever again. We almost lost then engine, the car could have gone up in flames! Careless, reckless employees. Rude staff. Horrible! Store manager was rude too. Never again. read more

Took our car for an echeck + an oil change. We had Bill, Mike + Marcus work on the car. We didn't have an appointment; we just drove in. They started working on it right away; there was no wait. We were offered free bottled water, which was a nice surprise. All of the workers were courteous + pleasant. They kept us updated with how much longer the process would take (it didn't take long, really) I was really impressed by the speed + efficiency. The echeck was free + the oil change $40. I was pleasantly surprised with the work ethic of this crew and their friendly attitude. The location is convenient, right off the I-71 I will use this Lube Stop again for future service. read more

They will try really hard to sell you the "up package" or things you may not need. So it's a standard oil change place. They will change your oil correctly. Corporate should change their policy about pushing addition work, or higher priced items. I feel bad for the guys who have to sell the stuff. read more

Awesome customer service. Employees are very friendly and like what they do. I needed assistance as I dropped my engine oil cap to the undercarriage of my car and was unable to retrieve my self. Took it in and they were able to get me in immediately and retrieved the cap within minutes. Problem solved! They even topped off my oil free of charge! DONT GO HERE! I went in for an oil change and the next day my car broke down and all of the oil that was in my car the day before was all outside underneath of my car. I know it might seem like a good thing that they do it in such a timely manner, but I prefer quality over quantity any day. I ended up paying $74 for an oil change AND a new air filter! I just don't trust letting them work on my car again after my car breaking down. read more

I was over due for an oil change and my boyfriend didn't have time, so he sent me to Lube stop. I was dreading it all the way there thinking of all the other things I could be doing instead of sitting and waiting for my oil to be changed. I pulled in and there were no cars in front of me. Being my first experience at a Lube stop I was a little leery pulling into the garage, but the guys were excellent and made me feel like a pro. Then I find out I don't have to wait in a greasy smelly waiting room, I get to stay in my car! I thought I could catch up on some email, nope, the guys were so efficient and friendly my email never had a chance. I was a little uncomfortable when they came up to the window and said I needed this and that and it would cost this much, simply because I have heard of too many garages taking advantage of blonds like me, saying they need things that they really didn't. So I told them I would let my boyfriend know. They gave me a sheet of what they saw needed to be done with their price so I could shop around if I chose to. But they were right, my boyfriend was aware of such things so I didn't feel like I was being taken. Thanks for having my back Lube Stop! Before I knew it I was driving off with a smile of accomplishment! If I ever need a professional oil change again, I know where I'll be going! read more

When I arrived, someone came out in the 5 degree weather and greeted me with a bottle of water. They got me in, I had a small issue with my oil cap, and before they did anything they let me know and asked for permission. They topped off my fluids and filled my tires.
