No sense of urgency here with anyone. Sat here for 2 hours there was one car ahead of me. "Free fluid top off" means you get water poured in your windshield fluid tank. No joke. They said "sometimes we put dawn soap in it but its just water" And Charging 40$ for a 15$ air filter and cant afford proper wiper fluid ? Just a horrible quality place overall. Really ashamed of the service provided. Not quality parts. No value. Literally overpaying for LESS. Also to add. They charged me for one extra quart of oil. Which i requested the left over of my quart to be given to me (i paid for it) and it was declined. read more

I needed an oil change fast. My light turned on and of course I panicked. A friend recommended Take 5 Oil change. I made an appointment online. I went to my appointment time. A nice young man asked me if I had an appointment and I said yes. The place was packed btw. He told me they would get to me as soon as they could and gave me a water bottle while I waited. I never got out of my car while they asked to pull up when it was my turn. They checked everything I did not expect while getting an oil change. It was fast and easy. I paid my bill and went back to work. If you are in a hurry and can't wait for the weekend for spouse to get the oil change done I would definitely recommend Take 5 Oil change. Called Take5 and thought I was speaking to someone at the store. Was given a quote of $54 for an oil change on my specific truck. When we got to the store was told it would be $107 minus $20 coupon. When I called to speak to the manager, he stated that the service people didn't know what they were doing. I made him aware that I gave them the make and model of my truck. He said they were having issues with them. I told him that was not my problem. I am the customer and felt it was not fair to me. I felt like he was dismissing my situation until I told him I was calling the better business bureau. He then offered me a FREE oil change next time. IF this is honored I will right another review to see if he really "owned" their issue. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. This place is nothing but an unbelievable waste of time. I waited patiently in line for an hour and a half. Just as the car in front of me was finishing up and I was about to pull into the bay, a worker comes to my window and tells me I need to back up to let another customer waiting in line cut in front of me because they "didn't want to hear them complain anymore." Insane. I also noticed at least 6-8 other cars get out of line and leave while I was waiting. Go to the location on Hewitt Drive instead; they have much better customer service. Update: even with only 2 workers, the Hewitt Drive location got me in and out in about 30 minutes. No idea what the issue is with the other place. read more

Took two hours for a "drive through oil experience" and then they gouged my daughter for over $109 for an oil change. Totally took advantage of a young girl who doesn't have much experience with cars. For comparison, and hoping to give them the benefit of the doubt, I called Walmart afterwards and turns out that my daughter could have had it done there with the same oil, filter and labor for less than $45 (this is with premium oil, etc). When I called for explanation to Take 5, both employees were rude and dismissive, so I can only imagine how they treat their "customers" in person. I would avoid at all costs and look elsewhere in Waco to have your oil changed! read more

I have gone TWICE to get the oil changed in my truck, both times they were out of all 3 options of oil. The second time I went, I waited in line 25 minutes before being told. They could have put up a sign or asked immediately when I pulled up if they knew there were products they were out of. read more

I went to this Five Minute Oil Change. I waited 30 minutes to talk to anyone because there was a customer in front of me getting an oil change. When it was my turn to be noticed, the employee recommended the $120.00 oil change for my high mileage truck. I asked, "What is your least expensive oil change?" The employee went to his computer for five minutes and came back and said, "Our least expensive is $90.00." I replied, "When I have to pay that much I'll change it myself." I drove one block away to Walmart Auto Center and paid $25.00 for an oil change. It took 20 minutes. Don't let these drive through oil change places rip you off!!! read more

I've gone to this business for many years when it was then Champion Fast Lube and have always been satisfied. I've recently begun going here since it's name has changed to Take 5 and it appears that all of the old Champion Fast Lube crew has been replaced. My most recent visit was unpleasant because the Manager, named Chris or Kris, not sure, was bossy and rude. It was on a Monday, so I suppose that he either had a hangover from the weekend or was just hot and tired. Took 2 hours to do an oil change.... then was charged 100 wasn't told prices til after they drained my oil or I would of left. But yall we don't see what they doing under our cars not even 2 weeks after my oil change my air compressor falls off my car and it's at the bottom of my car. One bolt is gone and now two bolts are broken off in the frame. I don't know if this was done there. Just funny how one and a half weeks after my visit if my bolt was lessened up there my compressor falls off. And I'm a single mom I had 3 of my kids with me at the time of the visit. pulled in at 4:45pm. "JJ" was very rude in directing me to the line I should be in. Then asked "what do you want?". I said an oil change and was told "an hour and a half wait". There were 2 cars in the bays and 2 waiting. He stormed away. I left. I've been doing business at that location for years..even back when it was Champion. I have never been treated so rudely.
