Painfully slow. Avoid if you value your time. The whole appeal of Take 5 is supposed to be speed--stay in your car, in and out fast. That's not what happened. We waited 20 minutes just to pull in, before anyone even touched the vehicle. One of the bays was closed with no explanation, which clearly bottlenecked everything. Whatever the reason, the result was a line that crawled and zero communication about the holdup. For a place built around being quick, this was the opposite. Won't be back. UPDATE: I left after 35 minutes without ever getting my car serviced--and then had to wait another 5 minutes just so one of the slowest-moving "workers" (using that term loosely) could wipe the paint marker off my windshield that they'd put there in the first place. I had a bad experience across the street at the Firestone. I pulled up in my medical transport vehicle. Patient loaded with a low tire just looking for a tire pressure and wasn't acknowledged or treated fairly. I came across the street here and was taken care of quickly by Quentin and Lashon great guys had me in and out with a smile. I am a tire technician with myself have owned my own tire shop and know what it takes to help people even on the bad days. I appreciate these two gentlemen great service. read more

I visited this location for a routine oil change. After leaving, I immediately noticed my skid plate scraping and returned to have it inspected. I was informed that a clip was missing and a bolt had fallen off one section of the skid plate. The staff stated they did not have the necessary part to replace it and offered no resolution beyond a brief apology, advising me "not to worry about it." Later that day, I called the store and was told by a manager that the replacement parts could be ordered without issue. I never received any follow-up. When I called again, I was informed that management had changed and that a new claim would be submitted and I would receive a return call that day. I did not receive any response. After calling yet again, I spoke with a new manager, Ethan, who asked me to come in for another inspection. During this visit, I was told that no claim had ever been submitted and that the only option offered was to temporarily "rig" the skid plate. Because no claim was submitted, they would not be able to order any replacement parts. Throughout the interaction, the situation was repeatedly minimized. My expectation was simply that my vehicle be returned to the same condition it was in prior to service. I do not recommend this location unless you would like to risk faulty and unprofessional service. TLDR: Do not come here. read more

I needed an oil change before dropping my car off for a friend to borrow. Take-5 was open on Sunday. That's nice. I pulled up and was greeted immediately and then offered a water and snack. Now that's something I've never seen. Within 3 minutes I pulled my car into a bay and they began checking things out. Tire pressure, fluid levels, etc. I pay attention to those things for the most part, but this is a good service for someone who doesn't. The guys changed the oil and points out that my air filter was pretty scuzzy. I didn't expect this, but they had my filter in stock. (You should see the size of this place, I don't know where they would keep an auto parts store.) They also replaced the crush washer on my oil pan and after the fact, they showed me the oil level and the fact that the oil was new. Surprising, but good. The guys were all super friendly. This is not a "5 minute" oil change. That would be unrealistic in most situations, but it was fairly quick and I only had to sit in my car for a bit. In terms of the price, I would say it's about double the cost of doing it yourself, which isn't a bad deal since most people don't do that. These guys earned the wage and deserved every bit of it. read more

I went to get an oil change, left without one, but still very pleased! That's because it was pointed out that I didn't need one. No one did any unnecessary services or tried to up-charge me, and that says a lot about the way this business is run. The staff is very friendly and professional. The manager, Amy, runs a great team! They won't over-sell you, and they care about what they are doing. I didn't need an oil change, so they let me know. However, they checked my windshield wipers and showed me they were in bad repair. I had them replaced, along with my cabin air filter. This is a quality location, and I trust them with my quick car care needs. Amy and her group of talented technicians deserve all the praise! They are not only knowledgable but they all present with a friendly countenance, are quick to answer a question, and work diligently. I was very intrigued with the obvious "flow" that the team had as they all worked on individual tasks, while simultaneously staying aware of how to help each other. The shop was immaculate, and every employee was neatly kept, despite the untidy tasks they regularly perform. It's a true testament to great leadership and teamwork. friendly service men, I was able to get an oil change quickly and they were able to help me with my hood latch (that was not cooperating) and I got a student discount. I gave them overall a four out of five just because of the price was a little out of my price range just for an oil change but I had a coupon so I wanted to try it out, I did get a email saying that if I did a survey I would get my next oil change for free so we will see about that. read more

I have never used their service here so I pulled up to the door and one of the employees greeted me and asked what type of service I needed today. I told him just an normal oil change. He guided me into the bay Once inside my attendant told me to wait inside my vechicle and that they would work on the car and be done in a few minutes. It took about ten minutes to complete the change and hand me the paperwork. The people here were nice and helpful during my visit. I will come back here to do business in the future. read more

After a referral from a new "girlfriend" of mine who's more familiar to what this town offers than I ever will be - being new to town from New York - I decided to let the mechanics at Take 5 change my oil in my SUV (Toyota 4-Runner). I didn't expect to drop almost $80 in order to do so, but I did choose their most-expensive high mileage option (due to an upcoming round-trip road trip to Washington, D.C.) AND they offer "free top offs" to their customer's car fluids in-between oil changes, which is definitely a plus because I was told to feel free to return to have my oil topped off once I am back next week from my 10-hour road trip. Since the manager (Steve) was quite friendly and familiar with my referral, he offered me a 20% discount as well as a $5 off coupon, making his overall service to me a nice one. I noticed as his co-workers performed their duties, they all often joke with one another as they work (Steve, included) which was cool to witness since any and everyone can appreciate a companionable, congenial environment. The mechanic pictured washing my windshield (who's name I think was Raekwon) even took the time to detail to me about how good my car's gas filters were and forewarned me on what to look out for when it's time to replace them. So I just left this location getting my car serviced. Let's start off with the fact that the initial guy I was dealing with had a horrible attitude. He was not professional and even had the audacity to get on his phone while I'm still in the dock getting serviced. oh also out in the dock of course you asked to cut your car off, which I had no problem doing, but you're also asked to cut your lights off. I just figured when I cut my car off like normal. My lights will go off and they didn't and they had the worst attitude asking me to cut my lights off manually. The two people that were initially dealing with had a very smirk like behavior and quite unprofessional. Then there comes the assistant manager who took my air filter off and stripped the casing for the air filter. Not once did they actually say anything about it I just overheard their conversation because my window was open. Of course, when I got home, I had to fix it. The best way I could, which was definitely rigged up. This place epitomize is unprofessionalism at his best and let's not even talk about having they now have up charge on the prices almost $100 for a oil change on a Honda CRV let's be fucking for real. These people are just so kind! They were so helpful and laughing all the way! Very quick and efficient and they seemed like they do enjoy their work. I will say it was FRIGID in the garage! I personally was so cold in there, and the gentlemen working were having to wear gloves hats and big coats to keep warm, they were all frozen as well! Sean was quick & attentive to let me know the process & what to expect (as I had never been there) along with very welcoming hospitality by offering me a water while I was waiting. Marcus was training & he did a very thorough job! He was very informative & collected as he went through the process. Amy the manager was just a super star. I know how stressful it can be to train new employees while providing efficient & quality service but she delegated + lead her team so gracefully. Know your oil before you go to this place. I ran on regular oil before I cam here and they only gave me two options of synthetic which is WAY more expensive. Now my car can't run on regular oil again and I have to continue buying synthetic, more expensive oil. They take advantage of young girls instead of educating them. Do your research and don't let them convince you otherwise. read more
