On 20 Jul 2026 I arrived at Take 5 # 1444 3010 S 4th AVE Yuma AZ and requested the price of an oil change for my Mercedes-Benz GLK350 I pointed to my Jeep and the service worker looked at my vehicle. I was then given a price of $108.99 I then decided to purchase the oil change for $108.99 I was directed to pull into the service bay and the oil was drained from my car. When that was done, the individual who advised the price came to me and said "You know your jeep takes 7.5 quarts of oil?" I advised that I did not know that. I was then told that the price I was given was based on 5 quarts of oil and that the new price was now $170.00 due to my jeep needing 7.5 quarts. I advised that I would not pay $170.00 I was then offered an oil change with lesser grade of oil for $106.99 only to find out that this was the price for 5 quarts and the true price would be $139.45 with no oil in my car I had no choice but to purchase the 139.45 oil change. I feel like a con man's mark after this experience. That service worker knew my vehicle took 7.5 quarts when he gave me the price for 5 quarts. Classic bait and switch. The true price should be known up front period full stop. There is nothing up front about Take 5. read more

And another one bites the dust 60k mile jeep engine total falure after oil change from take 5 completely destroyed lack of oil over tightend oil filter lead to oil pump failure after getting a oil change done and driving out of town. Guys and girls please pick a local yuma owned shop go to valvoline, pep boys , Walmart, or any other locally owned shop or dealership please. This is 3 vehiclean in less than 15 days. Brought my BMW X5 in for an Oil change and the next day I reached out to David the Manager for this location to let him know that my SUV was leaking oil. He advised me to bring it back in so they can take a look at it. After the inspection it, I was informed that it was the oil drain plug. They replaced it and added a nylon crush washer as well. When I got home I put some new cardboard under it to ensure the leak was fixed. The next day I pull the SUV out of garage and looked at the cardboard. It has a nice puddle of oil. I ended up taking it to the shop and was informed that the threads in the oil pan are cross threaded and I need a new oil pan. Hopefully this was an isolated incident but BE WARNED. read more

This was by far the best experience I have had with an oil change. I don't have much time to get an oil change during the day since I'm working most of the time so it was super convenient that they close at 8am, I rolled in at 7:45pm and they took my car in immediately. I was informed of a few thing that my car needed (i.e. low oil, air filter, and quality of oil), the customer service from Frankie was excellent and not pushy, he offered the air filter and just showed me how dirty it was and stated that it will need to be changed soon. The full inspection of the engine and tires showed I had a low tire in the rear and they topped them all off. We were in and out of that place in less than 10 minutes. With the excellent customer service and professionalism I would definitely recommend this place to whoever is in need of an oil change. read more

Came for an oil change. Its hot here and the first thing as I pulled up was one of the employees (Gabriel) with 2 water bottles for my 4 yrs old & my self. After the had me pull in the bay & I stayed in my vehicle the whole time. I heard the communication between the first and the second employee (Adrian).
