First of all either no tune up was done or they did not know what they were doing. Cylinder 6 coil was not working at all. Making only 5 cylinders running which should of stopped the tune up. You all replaced the coil only after the mechanic noticed the computer code after all the work was done that Cylinder 6 was not working. Then the very last thing Precision Auto Tune did was replace the Cylinder coil. So no tune up could of been done or was done after the coil was put in. I watched this with my own eyes. Also I should of been told from the start how much the oil pump replacement cost and work was. Then the sensor that I was told that needed replaced. It did not need replaced. So Precision Auto Tune replaced a part that did not need replacement. Precision Auto Tune told me it was then the oil pump that needed replaced for 2400 dollars. I had lost all trust in them. I talk with other mechanics around town and looked it up for myself. It is a known issue for Vortec engines. It is a problem with the Oil pickup tube getting air in it once the engine is hot. I got estimates for this which was all around 1,000 dollars. It is only 3 bolts to replace this and a 45 dollar part. So I will just do it myself. But as they could not do a Tune up on an engine only running on 5 out of 6 cylinders and the sensor they replaced was working properly that they replaced and they are suppose to be the experts at 200 an hour. I asked for my money back because they could not of done the Tune up and the sensor that they said fixed the truck did not fix the truck. Any court and mechanic hearing this will know I am right and asking for what is fair. This is a open and shut hands down case against Precision Auto Tune.

No way should they have needed to keep my car overnight; I dropped it off in the morning and was told I'd get an estimate later that day, yet I only got the same vague "you need a new transmission" answer the next day. They quoted $4k-$6k for a replacement CVT without providing the live data, freeze-frame data, or proof I requested. I was shown a jar of dark fluid with metal debris, but there was no confirmation it was from my car. Overall, I left feeling underwhelmed to put it mildly. This was more about selling a transmission replacement than giving me the thorough CVT diagnostic I paid for. I would not recommend this shop.

Matrix physically inspected the vehicle , and stated 2 belts need replacement while DeBroux said only one. As a single older woman with no family nearby and limited income, my truck's reliability is extremely important to me. The belts are my main concern -- without them working properly, my fear was the truck will soon become useless. I wanted assurance that after spending that much money, my truck would be reliable. When I politely raised this, the responses were snarky, sarcastic, (I think came from the owner himself) and rude. They said "look under the hood yourself" and "go to Kelly Hill". All customers, especially older women on fixed incomes, deserve basic respect and clear communication. Very disappointed. Rudeness and dismissive treatment from DeBroux hurt me deeply -- emotionally, physically, and spiritually. As an older single woman with limited support, being made to feel disrespected and like I had no right to ask for basic fairness or reliable service left me humiliated and drained, affecting my well-being and ability to show up fully for my patients and family. Since writing the above, I found a nice auto repair shop, with a very respectful owner, who told me "I didn't need to do any work now on it now". However, the other shop stated, when I"m ready (when the truck is giving me more problems), he would do the same work for 1/2 as much, saving me 1000 dollars. That is a 50% savings or a 100% savings since I need to do NOTHING now. This place is not as great as they think it is.

I used YouTube to review what the repair involved, and realized it was beyond my ability to desire to do the repair. The same car had the same repair before, and the bill was $164; at first I thought the $661 was pretty expensive; then I noted that the $164 repair cost was in 2018, so the higher cost could be a reflection of the increased cost of EVERYTHING since then. I was driving from Florida to Texas when my tire light suddenly came on. One of my tires had lost all its air, and I was only about 45 minutes from the hotel I'd booked as my overnight stop. While I was waiting on the tow truck, I googled tire shop and luckily found Fisher Tire & Service was super close. It was the first place I went in the morning. They inspected my tire and told me I'd definitely need a new one. Unfortunately, they didn't have my tire size in stock, so they sent me down the road to another shop. Walmart didn't have it either, and after calling multiple tire shops within a 5 mile radius of the area I was in, nobody had my size. I called Fisher back, and that's when everything turned around. They realized they had my tire in their warehouse, and the receptionist offered to go pick it up herself. I wouldn't venture to say she was enthusiastic about it but that level of customer service meant a lot considering I was stranded away from home. The older gentleman who installed my tire was a lifesaver. He was friendly, got everything taken care of quickly once the tire arrived, and had me back on the road. I don't think he realized I know a thing or two about my car when he started asking about the wheel lock. Better ask about me! Well... he can't, because I don't know not one damn body in Pensacola. This whole ordeal set me back several hours from what I'd planned that morning, but I'm thankful this shop was nearby. Maybe it was heavenly intervention that I picked a hotel close to Fisher to begin with.
