Cute little coffee shop. Fresh empanadas. Apple and cotijo was definitely the best. Not too sweet, apples that were not overcooked. Berry is a close second, a very nice jam filling. The guava and queso, I didn't finish, this isn't to say it was bad, just not to my liking. The dough consistency gives the impression that it is hand made, very good. The tiramisu latte was great with a small lady finger that was delicate and flaky. The staff were all busy in their roles and get your food to you as quickly as possible. Quiet enough spot to stay and enjoy your food without feeling rushed out the door.
Before heading out of Las Vegas, I needed to grab some coffee before the road. I found Take It Easy and went there at around 9:00 am. I wished I could have went here at another time since it had a good vibe. There was a lot of table seating inside and a small patio area outside. I decided to get an espresso fizz from their menu. It took a few minutes to get ready. It was worth all the wait since it was good and refreshing. I'd come back if I was in the area to "take it easy" and stay longer next time. American Express is accepted here.
Came across this Hidden gem in china town! It has indoor and outdoor seating. Inside there is a few tables and bar high chairs as well. Went on a Saturday and it was very busy! Most of the pastries were gone by 11:30am. I tried their tiramisu latte which was really good I definitely want to go back and try more of their items.
Food was really good and we ordered the short rib, chicken, and shrimp empanada. We also ordered a tiramisu latte and a chai latte. I really enjoyed how fresh the empanadas were and honestly they were amazing. The reason for four stars is because my friend who had ordered the chai latte quite literally just got milk She went back to ask for more chai and it was the tiniest dot of chai lol. Also the ordering and service overall is pretty slow so I wouldn't recommend if you're in a rush. Interior was super nice and plenty of seats and outlets.
Come on baby, don't say maybe... to this spot. Take It Easy Roasters is a quiet little coffee shop by the folks behind the local Makers & Finders chain. It's located on Wynn Rd not far off Spring Mountain, and parking shouldn't be too bad on the Spring Mountain-facing lot since business hours here are morning through afternoon. I decided to try the Nitro Cold Brew ($6.00) for the drink. They served it in a nice stemless glass after I specified dine-in. It was probably a medium roast and felt more challenging than I expected since there were a lot of fruity/acidic notes going on. But it was definitely proper nitro judging from the bubbles, and it came out low in bitterness. The Frank's Pop Tart ($6.50) was really what made my day. The flavor of the day was guava and cream cheese, and it's some of the most prominent guava and cream cheese flavor I've had in some time. The pastry dough was flaky and actually more crumbly than I've had from other renditions, but in a good way rather than a cheap mass-market rendition. The shredded coconut on top also complemented the filling. Overall, it helped balance out the nitro cold brew surprisingly well. I enjoyed the atmosphere a lot. Their playlist was a lot of alternative rock but from the more mellow end of the spectrum and played at a volume to encourage more quiet conversation, or at least so I'd imagine if there were actually groups of customers present. I was intrigued by seeing that espresso and frother machines were built into the same counter which they let you sit at, and have a minimal presence almost; I'll probably order something else next time to watch those in action. Take It Easy has awesome vibes and at least one really great product. I'll definitely keep them in mind for visits to Spring Mountain and check out more of the menu next time.

Stopped by on a Saturday morning and like other reviews have stated, parking is confusing. We initially tried to park by the shop but wasn't sure if we could park there. We ended up parking in front of Moignet and it was a short walk to the cafe. The music and ambiance is relaxing. We ordered a cold brew, house filtered coffee, tiramisu latte and apple & cajeta empenada. Overall we enjoyed everything. The filtered house coffee is bottomless so that was a nice touch. They have a good variety of pastries to choose from.
My husband and I tried 4 different matcha drinks and they were all tasty. I preferred the basic matcha latte over the sticky mango rice drink.
Beautiful spot! Got a pistachio cold brew and it's my first time seeing such a thing. Wonderful open concept bakery, coffees you've never heard of, and quick careful service. I recommend sitting at the bar and watching them make their magic!
Found this gem by chance! This place is amazing! They make super fresh and delicious empanadas, and they stamp each empanada to tell you what's inside. We tried them all but I highly recommend the shrimp and chicken. The service is great, you can sit at the bar and watch them make the empanadas. Super clean and just refreshing to see that going on. I also tried the matcha latte which was so good oh man, I need to go back soon! Love this place! Beautiful place. Pretty easy to find, it's south of the Baby stacks cafe.
One of our favorite coffee shops in Las Vegas! It's a small little place down a side road in China Town.. we usually park up in the front of the plaza (spring mountain, plaza with Golden Tiki) and walk down. There's counter seating for 7-8 people, 4-5 tables inside and a small patio with additional seating. The baristas are always friendly and helpful. We ordered 2 filter coffees (free refills) and a second chance (day old) cookies & cream cinnamon roll (only $3.50!)... and after they heated it for us I couldn't tell it was a day old. As always the coffee was fantastic (they roast their beans on site) and the service was stellar.
I enjoy trying coffee straight from the roasters to taste the freshness and unique flavor profile. So I went to Take It Easy Roasters. I planned on trying a cup of coffee but ended up getting their Mi Horchata Latte and iced. First sip and right away I was like, "this is really good". I can taste the rice milk and the espresso was very good. Again, the freshness of the grind. I recommend going and taking it easy inside their small but cozy shop. They have seating outside their quaint little patio. The customer service was fine. I'm definitely returning.
Take it Easy is a little hidden gem coffee shop located in Chinatown. If you blink you will miss it, since there isn't street signage. Its located next to Win Spa. They have a little patio area to enjoy the outdoors and inside a few tables for maybe 8 total ppl. Love that they roast their own beans and make fresh pastries daily. Looks like they sell day old pastries for 50% off. But we didn't get to try and this time. Instead we ordered a Iced s'mores latte and a decaf Mango Mochi latte. The latter normally comes with matcha but I opted for a shot of decaf espresso. Service was friendly. I liked that the lattes weren't overly sweet, but the flavors of the drinks could have been stronger, closer to their descriptions. Also disappointed that the s'mores latte did not come with torched marshmallow creme cloud top like the description stated.

Food was amazing we got three empanadas two savory one sweet and they were just to dye for. The pop tarts now that was out of this world this week they had a raspberry hibiscus which just happens to be one of my favorite flavor combinations it was everything I thought it would be and more. I got a Mexican coffee pour over and my girl got a s'more latte was so good not to sweet not to better. Service was spectacular everyone was so nice and helpful and they answered all our questions. And this place looks amazing as well love the vibe. read more

This is the best coffee and breakfast I have had this year. Empanadas were flavorful, flaky, and cooked to perfection. Latte was made with high quality beans, perfect roast, and creamy milk. I love a place that roasts, grinds, and creates latte art. The ambiance is peaceful and uplifting. I can't wait to come back and think anyone visiting or living in Vegas must give this beautiful place a try. Highly recommend! read more

One of the best specialty craft coffee shops in the entire city of Las Vegas. The pastry selection is good and the food items are baked in store. The music inside the store was amazing and really added to the welcoming cool vibes of the store. I chose a pour over coffee to try and it was made perfect, no bitter taste and you can really put your mouth on the hints of flavor that pop out from the beans. We got the ube-key latte & tried the short rib empanada and garlic & shrimp empanada (both fried). They make each by hand and are fried to order! Both the drink & food were delicious. Saw this place in a Tiktok review. Found out it was 5 minutes from my house! Immediately went down to see what they have. Unfortunately, they were out of their homemade pop-tarts (which was a major part of the TikTok review so I was not surprised) but had an excellent assortment of other pastries. They also have amazing specialty coffees as they roast their coffee in-house. My husband got the "Give Me S'More" and I got the "Mole Mocha." Due to my unfortunate constitution of being unable to eat dairy, it was nice to see they have multiple milk alternatives and vegan options. We both got the empanadas, fried obviously, but they can bake them as well. I ordered the mushroom and my husband ordered the short rib. The dough was flaky and had an excellent crunch. The fillings were nice and hot with excellent flavor profiles. Fair warning the mushroom does have a little kick of heat. read more

Take It Easy is everything I imagine in a high end Café. The atmosphere is impeccable and the customer service was 10/10. The food is absolutely Instagram worthy but unlike the last several "Instagram cafés" I've been to, the food actually tasted 10x better than it looks. Everything we ordered was spectacular. The poptart was not only beautiful but also delicious. The Pan Con Queso was incredibly soft and fluffy and the Banana bread was rich and nutty without being too much. I'm not a big coffee person by any stretch but The Smores drink was phenomenal. Nothing but good things to say! read more

Hidden gem, chill baristas who know exactly what they're doing and are true connoisseurs. I'm a barista myself and appreciate fellow workers who share the same vibe. My barista paid attention to my preferences and also asked if I liked my drink. (Oat milk because I'm lactose intolerant & matcha) Also let me know that the drink is hand crafted and would take time. read more

Another great coffee shop to add to the list! The strength and taste of both drinks was the perfect pick me up to start the day. The ambiance is quite welcoming for creative brainstorming, working or studying. I love the aesthetic too, it's very open and calming. Also if you go between 3-5pm, its 50% off pastries and drinks or one or the other. read more

Are particular about your coffee/espresso? Then come here, now! With so many "coffee" shops around town that base their menu off coffee drinks with ice cream style toppings in them, its a breathe of fresh air walking into Take it Easy Roasters. Take it easy is a coffee lovers spot with people behind the counter that know what they are doing, and have an appreciation for the product they are serving. I have been here several times and had the Barista each time give actual effort into delivering the proper espresso to milk ratio to my drink that i certainly appreciate. The quality of the product they are serving shines through their unique blend of beans they used for the drinks i have ordered, never have i had something so fruity and vibrant and it was unique to say the least. The food offerings are certainly a bonus, although a little pricey the quality is there and if you are on a budget they do a happy hour the last hour or so that they are open for the day. The cheesy bread is a must if you can get it coming fresh from the oven, do not sleep on this simple yet delicious goodie. Give this place a try, and if you are a home barista do grab a bag of their beans for home use as i think you will be pleasantly surprised. read more

First off, this place deserves a 12/10 stars. We came here after seeing a review on TikTok from Keith Lee although I've had this place saved for months. This place is tucked away in a corner of a Plaza in Chinatown. We came here on a Saturday at around 12pm and tried two of their signature coffees and two pastries. This place was moderately busy, but definitely wasn't overcrowded. There were places to sit inside and places to sit outside. The kitchen is open so you can see them making your coffee and the pastries. The decor was very minimal with a few decorations here and there, but there was a wall full of what seemed to be family photos which gives this place a cozy feel. Since this was our first time here, I asked the cashier what she recommended. She was very informative and asked me different questions to try to find what drink would go with my flavor palette. She was very patient and kind. I also asked her which pastry she recommended between the Cajeta and apples and guava and cheese. She said both were really good, but based on my flavor palette, recommended the guava and cheese. I also asked if they had any pop tarts which she informed me they had already sold out for the day which means I'll definitely be returning at an earlier hour to try to get with my hands on one of those pop tarts. My fiancé ordered the espresso fizz and cheese empanada. We sat inside and ate our pastries and drank our coffees. I ordered the cheese and guava empanada and the shake n bake coffee.The cheese and guava inside my pastry was made into almost a cream filling and it was absolutely delicious.Crunchy on the outside, and sweet and creamy on the inside. My fiancé's cheese empanada was crunchy on the outside and warm and cheesy on the inside. Usually when ordering a sweet pastry, I am hesitant to drink a sweet coffee with it, but my coffee and pastry balanced perfectly. Both of the coffees were aesthetically pleasing and very unique tasting. I love the rim of the cacao powder on the shake N bake which added a little bit of pizzazz. My fiancé also really enjoyed her coffee and she LOVES coffee. She liked how unique it was with the tonic water. I would also like to say that the coffee was very good quality and it gave me energy throughout the day when sometimes, stopping by a chain coffee shop won't give me the energy that I need. We will definitely be returning to this place and I recommend you do too. This is a do not miss coffee and pastry shop in Las Vegas. read more

Unique assortment of baked goods and drinks. We got the espresso fix and el major agua de Jamaica. Tries a bit of the pastries and empanadas. I liked the empanadas fries just a little more than the baked but if I didn't have them side by side I wouldn't have noticed. Carrot cake donut is beautiful and very moist. Frosting made it a little sweet for me but would be great with a regular latte or unsweetened drink I would think it was perfect. Looking forward to a future visit! read more

Excellent service, coffee/food, and experience. The barista was very detailed and took her time making our beverages, which were great. The bread is made to order which was also great so it's nice and fresh. This isn't Starbucks, the drinks are hand crafted and the bread is baked when ordered. Only suggestion: when it comes to roasted coffee beans for sale, I recommend selling coffee that is 1-2 weeks old max. A reduced price on older beans would work to keep the product moving incase it doesn't sell. I would've picked up a 2lbs bag if it had been roasted a couple days before my visit. Other than that I really enjoyed our visit, I would definitely visit again! read more

Cute coffee shop, love the interior. Coffee was good but the menu was a bit overpriced for certain items. I had a cappuccino and Kyle had the empanada breakfast bowl with beans and rice and LOVED it. Very authentic and freshly made, good portions, decent amount of protein. There was one gluten-free menu item (banana bread loaf) but I didn't try it. There was indoor and outdoor seating. The woman working who helped us was very friendly! We don't live close to this location but would come back if in the area! read more

Two words "breakfast empanadas!" They are packed with flavor and oh so good. We also tried the cheese bread and it did not disappoint. It was perfectly paired with a delicious dirty chai. The staff is super attentive and made sure we were happy with everything before we left. We will be back here whenever we are in the area 10/10 would recommend. read more

Sadly the empanadas are not as good as they used to be so spicy it's such a shame they never used to be this spicy and takes away from the flavor We used to eat here all the time The coffee is still EXCELLENT and being able to sit outside it lovely in the small grass area Sweets are good banana bread is soooo good read more
My husband and I needed a break from our Starbucks habit and wanted to visit a traditional coffee shop for a change. We heard about Take it Easy opening and we've been to Makers and Finders so we drove to Chinatown to check it out. The location is off Wynn road but near the Center at Spring Mountain which is actually good because you can park behind the building instead of the nightmare of limited parking spaces off Spring Mountain Road. The signage was decent and we saw 4 couples enter and exit as we were there for 30 minutes so obviously people are willing to try and find it. When we visited around noon on a Monday there was one barista working and another in back which seems slightly understaffed because the one barista had to take the orders, make the coffee, and the food. We waited for her to finish making another order before we placed ours which was fine because it gave us time to browse the menu. I ordered a chai latte and fruit tart while my husband got a cold brew and short rib empanada. We both got the cashew coconut milk in ours, not seeing that this was a $2 additional charge. It's a little confusing when the chai latte says "steamed milk of your choosing" and if I had to do it again I don't think I'd pay $7 total for a drink. My husband was only charged $.50 for his extra milk which is more reasonable but I understand a latte is mostly milk. Overall with tip our coffee visit came out to $30. The fruit tart came out first, followed by the drinks then the empanada. Again, the one barista was doing everything so it takes a bit of time. It's a good thing they weren't slammed. I think the fruit tart was actually my favorite thing that we had, but at $8 I probably wouldn't do it again either. The chai latte was beautiful and came in an oversized coffee mug. I got the powdered chai and that flavor was phenomenal but the temperature was luke warm at best. This seems like the temperature you'd serve children's hot chocolates at so they don't even come close to burning their mouth. Overall I don't think that anything was good enough to warrant another visit over the other coffee shops around town. I guess because Makers and Finders is more of a restaurant I don't mind paying the extra money but these prices felt really high to me. The service was also not incredibly inviting and friendly which is disappointing seeing that this is an established brand. The music was also a little off-putting with some explicit rap playing in the background. Sorry to say I think I'll skip it in the future. read more
