Decided to try this place after TikTok famous, Keith Lee, reviewed it. I got a banana bread loaf, carrot cake loaf, and some kind of citrus matcha pop tart. Although citrus-flavored things are not my favorite, I actually kind of liked the pop tart. My favorite item, though, was the carrot cake. I'm surprised that I liked it more than the banana bread. Would definitely go back to get some more carrot cake and try a different flavored pop tart. read more

What a wonderful treat on a Sunday morning! The drinks are beautifully crafted and taste lovely. The almojabana reminds me of those Brazi Bites (if you've had those). It's similar to the buñuelo, just more dense and chewy (in a good way). The decor is way cute, and it's neat to see the kitchen action in front of you sitting at the long bar. The guava and cheese empanada is ridiculously yummy, and the breakfast empanada comes with a cilantro side. I would absolutely come back and try the other items on the menu! read more

Cute little shop located on the outside edge of Chinatown. We got the Homeade pop tarts. The flavor changes daily, and that day it was lemon meringue. It was pretty good. We also got the brioche cinnamon roll, not so good. It looked better than it tasted. It was dry, even when heated up. The matcha lattes were pretty tasty. New new favorite coffee spot! It is tucked away on the west side of the Chinatown plaza on Wynn road, however hard to miss. A sign with their cute sloth logo will point you in their direction. This is a newer cafe that opened in July (support local business!!) First, major points to the decor of the restaurant. Very modern with an inviting color scheme. I can defiantly see myself getting work done here or planning a coffee date with a friend. They also have about 5-6 outdoor tables. Service- the cashier (short brown hair and a facial piercings) did an excellent job. I had several questions and she answered everything and was able to provide great recommendations. She also stopped outside to check on us and chatted for a bit. A++ for her great service. Now for the good stuff--THE FOOD! First, they have several vegan food/pastry options as well as dairy free milk subs. For food, we ordered a mushroom empanadas (vegan) and chicken Tinga empanada. They were about $4 and very flavorful. (This place is owned by Makers & Finders. They are the same empanadas they serve at their restaurants which are fireee) For my drink I ordered the shake and bake. (It may been called something else.. shake something) it has 2 shots of espresso, lavender syrup, cascara cashew honey milk? Again I'm not exactly sure the ingredients but it was vegan and delicious. Gave me a great buzz and Didn't have any fake syrup taste for the lavender. My friend ordered an americano with oat milk. It was ok. Nothing special but my friend is very plain so he loved it :) For two empanadas and our two drinks it was about $22. Well worth the money and I will defiantly be back!! read more

Quiet little coffee shop. Very clean. The young lady at the cashier was very sweet and helpful. I ordered the Dalgona Matcha, which was amazing. Not too sweet or overpowering. I also had the two empanadas with salsa. The chicken to ha was good but the short ribs my fave. Really great flavor and the pastry was excellent. Came across thus on Yelp searching for a quick coffee/lunch. I am so glad we came here. For food, their menu only goes as far as empanadas, but I have to say they are the best empanadas I have ever had. We ordered the short rib, chicken tinga and garlic shrimp empanadas. There is an option to get them baked or fried. We chose fried of course and it was a great choice. For coffee I had the somewhere in Kentucky and my wife ordered tangerine dreams. Both were amazing. A hidden gem! I love unique coffee shops and Take It Easy is one of them. This Columbian coffee shop and bakery has some of the most interesting and unique drinks I've seen. It's a bit small inside but has patio seating outside. I love the open kitchen/bar concept because you can really see the baristas and bakers work their magic. Everyone is so friendly! I got the La Mejor Agua de Jamaica, a hibiscus iced tea with cheese foam. My friends ordered the Matcha Dalgona and that looks yummy too. I'll have to come back to try their coffee. Our team decided to stopped by Take it Easy today for coffee and something light. I was sharing so decided on 1/2 dozen of Columbian baked goods. - 2 Bunuelos: made fresh to order. Nice crisp on the outside and ooey goey Cotija cheese in the inside. - 2 Almojabana - cheese bread - 1 Pandebonon - cheese bread - 1 Pan con queso - cheese bread - 1 Guava y Queso (not part of the 1/2 dozen) - still sitting in a to go bag - Caffe Latte with Coconut Cashew Milk - no Bueno. Something is foul about this...milk I would say. We didn't even finish the 1/2 dozen even though we are sharing...so much bread and cheese. We took the guava y queso empanada to go and left the rest there. The staff was helpful and friendly, so giving it 3 stars in the meantime. read more

Classically, i was already late for work; why not stop in? I have been giving M&F a shot since they opened their downtown location. For some reason, it never hits the target. The food service was really slow downtown and my friend and I were completely ignored in Summerlin M&F for brunch a couple weeks ago, so could this be better? I was greeted by a friendly young lady. She took my order for a Shake n Bake. It cost me $7! I was already somewhat conscious of their price points, but for the size?! Talk about perception of value! I felt that I just paid for a fancy description. I wanted to blame myself for even going for a latte instead of regular schmegular coffee. Expensive coffee always throws me into an existential crisis. Cool spot that's a little hidden and doesn't scream for attention... Just opened today and happened to be in the area so thought I'd stop by and see what's up. Parking is a little tough and location actually faces South Wynn Road. Has outdoor seating area that's a little protected and private, which will be really nice when it cools off. When you walk in, you get to see everything going on. Nothing is hidden and has an open feel to it that is inviting. Comfy and cozy environment with a relaxed ambience that'll encourage you to want to grab a seat and enjoy the experience. Has a nice counter top seating area that gives you a good view of what's happening in the kitchen and makes you feel a part of what's going on. There were people sitting there and didn't want to disturb and be rude taking pics so you'll see for yourself when you go. Seating along the walls is nice too, with chairs that will hug you a bit and feel sturdy. I had the "Somewhere in Kentucky" after reading a little about it. Can't say I've ever had anything like it, with the first sip being intense and trying to wrap my mind around the various tastes and sensations I experienced. It took a few more sips to get used to it and grew on me. While I think that this drink will be a hit, it may not be for everyone and there are a lot of different varieties of drinks to try and suit your liking. I also had the Pandebono which was delicious, light and smooth for a pastry. Overall, this is a nice chill spot to hangout at, work at or grab something to go. I really enjoyed this coffee shop in a small corner of chinatown. They had great service and great food. I had the vanilla latte, it was just a little too sweet, but still tasty. I'm so happy we have a coffee shop with delicious sweets and savory treats in Vegas! There were so many things I wanted to try from the menu.. so of course I tried them all. I had the matcha dalgona, flat white, matcha cake pop, chicken tinga fried empanada, and almojábana. Everything exceeded my expectations! The flat white was perfect, plenty of caffeine to fuel me for running afternoon errands. The chicken tinga empanada was savory and flavorful on the inside and crispy on the outside. The almojábana was buttery and cheesy perfection. The matcha cake pop had the perfect amount of sweetness. The matcha dalgona was an Insta worthy order. Service was not good. The person at the register was probably not the owner and we will definitely not come back. I asked if we could eat inside and the first thing he said was yes but don't trash the box in our trash can. Well too bad I spent $60 on your food and had a big box; maybe you need to invest on a bigger trash can, as well as a recycling can. After we ate, we just left the box on the table. Instragrammable lol We ordered dalgona Matcha lattes and an iced vanilla latte. The dalgona matcha latte is not only pretty to look at, it's also very tasty! It wasn't too sweet at all (I've gotten this Noth times I've been here). They have regular drip coffee, a variety of traditional coffee/espresso drinks like lattes and cold brew, and cool specialty drinks. Maybe next time I'll be adventurous and try one. They have sweet and savory pastries. Their sweet pastries behind the glass looked so pretty. Almost too pretty to eat! We did order an empanada. You have the option to have it fried or baked. The first time I came here, we got fried cheese empanadas and they were delicious and crunchy. This time we got a baked empanada (the rajas con soyrizo). It was delicious; however it did take a while for it to be cooked. We were warned that it could take about 15 minutes. We waited well over 15 minutes but it was tasty. That being said, I'd probably only order the fried version next time. Parking can be a bit tricky. Don't blink or you'll miss it! If you're coming from southbound and miss the turn to the parking next to the shop, just turn into the next parking row (it looks like it's technically an area for shipments behind the stores but there are a few spots.) otherwise you may have to park in the parking lot where Pho Kim Long is (farther and more crowded) or turn around. read more

Excellent coffee. I had a pour over of Nicaragua Jinotega and later an espresso. The pour over was one of the best I've had this year. It was perfectly balanced with both interesting fruity sweetness and mellow sugar browning. Espresso was also very good. The barista was friendly and knowledgable. Atmosphere was pleasant. "Instagrammable". The music was trendy but relaxing. Unfortunately bordering on too loud to study and I was glad I brought noise cancelling ear plugs. A hidden gem. Friendly, knowledgeable barista who answered our questions with kindness and patience and took obvious care in her preparation. Coffee was among the best I've had in Vegas. The Colombian pastries were unique and delicious. The place is small, but cute--clean and bright. I removed one star because of how they served the food. The pastries were presented on small wooden cutting board type trays, which were difficult to manage when sharing between two people. When we'd try to cut a piece off, the pastry would slide around and we didn't have much space to work with. A minor point that could be improved upon. The main thing that could be improved is they give you flimsy plastic forks and knives instead of solid steel. Dunno why, but many Vegas cafes use plastic utensils which makes no sense when you're already washing plates and other dishes. Plastic utensils are wasteful and feel cheap, distracting from the food. Replace the plastic with basic steel utensils and I'll update my review to 5 stars. read more

I chose to get it deep fried because I was running short on time but the crust still came out ridiculously flaky and the filling was actual chunks of meat slow braised, perfectly seasoned with just a hint of spice. Moist. juicy. delicious. I nearly formed an emotional attachment to this empanada and left my girlfriend for it. I got a shaken horchata latte iced and let me tell you it was a 10/10. It had the perfect horchata flavor but you could still taste the amazing coffee.
