7 out of 10 beef skewers for $8..

I'm sad that this is my first review after being on yelp all these years. I paid 8 dollars for 10 skewers. Sounded like a good deal to me until I got the food.. some of these skewers has "2" pieces... and some only 1 piece. Sorry, I already ate 3 of the skewers when I thought I had to leave a review.. I also asked for not spicy but they didn't listen.

This food truck has become MY kinda hype. First of all, it's PINK (my favorite color). They never failed to put a smile on my face. They have so many different options to choose from and never got my order wrong - I have a lamb allergy and I usually have to buy food for both myself and friends at the same time. Come out and support this truck whenever you're in Flushing!

Big bucket of tofu and squid emoji!

A few months ago, me and my sister got burritos from this truck. The burritos were ok, we only got…read morethem because they were open super late and we were hungry after the gym. Today, on June 14th, I stopped by the truck at around 9pm. I politely said "Hi" and the man inside the truck (he has a hoop earring that has a cross on it) just looked at me. So, I said "Hi" again and he responded saying "yes". I was appalled so I just walked away. After about 5 minutes, I went back to the truck and I said "When someone says hi, it's polite to greet them, not say 'yes'. Keep being rude, that's the reason why you don't have any customers right now. Have a goodnight". I don't tolerate disrespect or rude behavior. If you're running a business, it is imperative that you understand the importance of being polite. I will never go back.

The street food scene in Flushing has been stretched thin in the last few years due to local laws,…read morebut the influx of Latin based food trucks and carts have somehow become a more viable option. Carrito El Guerrero, located just outside of Queens Crossing mall (#1), has maintained a steady presence giving folks an option outside Asian cuisine. Like many Mexican carts in Jackson Heights and Corona, they offer a myriad of options ranging from tacos to huaraches to picaditas. Not surprisingly they have non-Mexican options like pupusas on the menu. For time saving reasons, I usually end up ordering tacos. At the standard NYC price of $3 each (#2), the various tacos I've tried (carnitas, asada, chorizo, al pastor) were somewhat mediocre. They're certainly not better than anything in nearby Corona but they do the job, especially when one isn't feeling like Asian food. I've had better results with their cemitas, picaditas, and even their quesadillas. They are sometimes a little too generous with the lettuce and I ask them to scale it back. The pupusas are pretty disappointing, but that was a gamble from the get go. As expected, its cash only. ____________ (#1) After bouncing around several other locations in downtown Flushing. (#2) To everyone outside of NYC: Yes, I know.
