Ordered a bunch of food for takeout, terikyaki chicken over rice, 1 tonkatsu ramen, 1 beef ramen, and a slice of mango crepe cake, thats 4 food containers right? They put all of that into 1 bag. The mango crepe cake was on top of all the hot food, so by the time I got my take out, the mango crepe was quite warm. 4 food containers, it was overflowing out of that regular sized bag. Who wants warm cake? I don't even know why anybody would think that's acceptable. The teriyaki chicken over rice was proably the best out of all the items ordered. The ramens were very subpar. We went here tonight for my birthday dinner with my family, and unfortunately, our first experience was very disappointing. When we arrived, we were excited to try the restaurant. The atmosphere was clean . We sat down and ordered about eight appetizers while we looked over the rest of the menu. Our waitress brought water to the table, and I asked if they had bottled water. She told me they did not. Later, a gentleman named Yordi came over to help us with a few questions about the menu since it was our first time there. From the beginning, his attitude felt defensive and not particularly welcoming. As he was taking the iPad from me to place part of our order, I specifically asked him to order three bottles of seltzer for us. A short time later, our waitress returned with glasses of seltzer instead. This was such a minor mistake and honestly would have been no big deal at all. I simply told her that we had ordered bottles. She even responded that she had told him that. Instead of simply saying, "No problem, we'll fix it," Yordi came back to the table and began arguing with me, repeatedly telling me that I needed to be more clear when ordering. I explained that I had clearly asked him verbally for three bottles of seltzer, especially because he had taken the iPad and said he would place the order himself. He continued arguing and insisting that I was the one who had ordered incorrectly. At that point, the issue wasn't the seltzer--it was the way a customer was being spoken to. When I told him that perhaps this could be a learning experience in customer service, his response to me was, "You're not my mommy or daddy." I was honestly stunned. There was absolutely no reason for such a simple misunderstanding to turn into an argument, especially during a birthday dinner with my family. Good customer service would have been as simple as saying, "No problem, I'll get you the bottles." What made the experience even more uncomfortable was watching him go behind the counter afterward and speak to other employees about me. It created an awkward atmosphere for the remainder of our dinner. Unfortunately, the food was only so-so, but what really ruined the evening was the unnecessary confrontation and lack of professionalism. We came in excited to celebrate my birthday and try somewhere new, and we left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. Sadly, not the birthday dinner experience we had hoped for. read more

We had an excellent lunch at Takkii Ramen! We were NOT a fan of the ordering system which consisted of us choosing what we wanted on an Ipad, rather than placing our order with a server at our table. When we needed to omit our order to leave a couple items off the ramen, we had to go to the counter so they could edit it (edits are not available on the iPad). This was a very cold ambiance to what could be a more welcoming start to a visit. We ordered appetizers of vegetable gyoza and takoyaki, and a couple pork ramen soups. The food was absolutely delicious and they got our orders correct. I just felt like we didn't get to know our server since we didn't get to directly place our order with them, and they weren't too attentive throughout the visit. We would definitely return for their wonderful food, but I hope that by the time we come back, they have regular table service! read more

Menu is on IPad and since I have eye problems, I asked for s paper menu. No problem, they bring a menu EXCEPT I WAS NEVER TOLD THE PAPER MRNU IS OUTDATED. I ordered something with vegetables and this item has baby corn. My absolute favorite. Unfortunately I was searching and searching and searching and never found any worn. Noone checked on me. Flavor was very bland and I asked if he has anything spicy to add to the flavor Im brought chili oil. Was NEVER told it was $1 uncharge. Generally they should say it's $1 is this okay. No they are transparent about it. When he brought me a check I said this was supposed to have corn. The guy tells me you have an outdated menu. We no longer use corn. REALLY???? WHY WASN'T IT MENTIONED WHEN I ORDERED?!?! Whrn I was brought the outdated menu? I said next you'll tell me the Ramen I thought that is $14 is actually more He said yes. It's an outdated menu. Now $16 Plus $1 small side chili oil By LAW, THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO SELL IT TO ME FOR WHAT IS ADVERTISED When I confront bad business practices I'm told to just pay the bill and leave. Bad service. I asked for a vegetarian child's ramen dish (normally $11) and they charged $15 because they had to make "special broth". Seemed odd since they have an adult $15 vegetarian option on the menu. They also weren't transparent about their pricing and led me to believe they were charging the typical $11 and then up charged me. When I explained that this was disappointing (I would have just gotten my daughter the adult entree which had many more vegetables as opposed to the child one that just had corn and scallions) their response was "sorry" and that I didn't have to tip (!?) The Ramen is super salty, eating it feels like I'm putting salt in my mouth. We asked for less sugar for our fruit tea and then it was filled with sugar. On the menu it says fresh fruit tea but the woman told me that "she didn't put the regular amount of SYRUP in the drink". the fruit teas are made with syrup not fresh fruit Door for bathroom wont close. It hits the frame, there was a wasp and a fly flying around us and the staff doesn't do anything about it. The place looks pretty but the food and customer service is terrible. We went twice. Great decor! First experience had us wanting to come back again! Bubble Teas are refreshing and fun! The ramen is delicious. The apps are actually the best! The bao buns and noodle shrimp a must get. Second time, was not the best but they are newly open so I can't be expecting so highly. Took a while to get the tablet and small plates. Cool atmosphere and really good service. Went on a weeknight, and about five tables occupied. Explanations were offered for different menu items, but we needed the manager to clarify, as the servers were not sure about some items, like presence of pork, etc. Our first server was so softly-spoken he was difficult to understand. Beer taps not operational, but the place was only a few weeks old. Understandable. Numerous bottled beers not in stock, which was less than optimal in the summer's blazing heat. The appetizers were served AFTER our noodle entrees, which was a bit awkward. Marinated cucumber, vegetable gyoza were the choices. Both OK, but the big oily hunks of cuke were a challenge to keep on the chopsticks. Entrees were OK, with lots of ramen. Vegetable ramen with shrimp tempura had the darkest version of tempura I'd ever seen. Tried it, and it was obviously overcooked. The shrimp seemed like it had been put in a blender, then rolled and breaded, then fried. Not normal consistency. I sent it back. The next version was slightly less dark, but same bizarre texture inside. They were so strange that we placed rest of them on another plate, uneaten. Overall ramen flavor was good, but rather sparse with vegetables. Did not bother to take the ample leftovers home, as boring stuff in the restaurant becomes more boring the second day. Overall, the meal was just OK. It's a franchise operation, and maybe needs more time to get people trained and things working. Might give them a try in the future. read more

This place is really beautiful, well designed, the vibe was quiet so it's a pretty good spot for a more intimate dinner. You order via tablet which they hand you, they have a very wide selection my wife had curry chickenkatsu over rice and I had the Choyu ramen noodles with chasu pork. Appetizers were gyoza and edemame (which was fried) all really loaded with flavor. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of what we ordered. Exceptional ramen, I've dined here many times, Including take-out. I'm never disappointed. The ramen is delicious and I always order the Salmon filet knowing it's always fresh. Do not expect wait service when you dine here. This is a different style of dining. You order on a tablet, and staff will bring the menu items to your table. They will not check on you and ask how your dish is or offer a beverage like a typical in-house dining food establishment. That's why I love it ! If you need something, just send it on your tablet. If I could give zero stars I would. Very disappointed with the service and food. Chicken appetizer was 2 oz of Very burned chicken. How does that even get served? The chicken ramen had a mildew, very off putting taste. We barely ate it, told the server it was bad and was not offered anything else. Not even an apology. Visited on 7/22. This place unfortunately needs customer service training. You order from a tablet that didn't even have service. Very cozy spot. The employees were all very nice and helpful. The menu being on an iPad made it tough to compare the ramens tho. We had the Spicy Miso ramen and the chicken katsu rice bowl and both were delicious! The cheese cake had a strong lemon taste which wasn't for us.
