Dr. Samuels and her team are the reason I still have the ability to see. I had a very dangerous situation with my left eye that if not properly diagnosed could have left me blind in that eye. The doctor worked quickly to examine and get me the proper treatment to save my vision. Every time I have called for help with my vision her and the team have went always taken care of me. My recent appointment with Dr. Lindsay Eisenberg was efficient; however, during the exam, the doctor used her fingers to demonstrate slanted eyes while discussing dry eye and made a comment about Botox in relation to this. This gesture and remark were racially insensitive and have no place in patient care, as comments and gestures of this nature affect whether patients feel safe seeking care.
