Beautifully merchandised, lots of space, very nice dressing rooms. The owner Eliza is so nice and helpful, knowledgeable of her inventory and will help you find just the right thing. Many of the items are used, some are new. As with anyone buying used items, of course you need to look it over before purchase. I totally enjoy both buying and selling to Saratoga Closet.

Their semi-annual sale was happening at the time & I found some great items including a pair of high waisted jeans for $14.97 and a lightweight blouse for just over $22 when usually I spend $45-$55 on a single clothing item here.

I have been vacationing in Saratoga for over 25 years and it is hands down one of my favorite upstate NY towns. I truly enjoy shopping on Broadway and usually meet friendly and engaging staff/owners. Sadly, this store is an outlier. Try as I might to give them a chance, they just keep on disappointing. On this occasion, a decidedly unfriendly middle aged sales woman went out of her way to be unwelcoming and literally made an effort to avoid me. Since I can get Anthropologie brands at an actual Anthropologie and I prefer shopping where I feel welcomed, I left.

The new checkout system is nice with the self-checkout options splitting off from those needing assistance, but it takes every opportunity to throw an impulse purchase in your face as well, like the checkout lines at TJMaxx or HomeGoods does. This store has a fairly large footprint so there is a good variety to pick from, but it's a touch unorganized, especially as they try to sell through their winter and Christmas items while still trying to put Valentine's Day and new fashion out on the floors. The deals can be good, especially with the Kohl's cash opportunities.

I have had good luck at ths particular Kohl's. They have very large men's and travel departments. I got a great deal on luggage here a few years ago. The dressing rooms are a little awkward though - they are in the center of the store, with doors on either side, so it's essentially a unisex dressing room. Everything else about this store reflect's Kohl's consistency - clean rest rooms, bargain racks, good sales.

Terrible Customer Service, even from there Store Manager! Saratoga Springs, NY Store in Wilton Mall…read more Wow this place has everything backwards! I goto purchase clothes from here, tell the lady to run my Visa Debit card as Debit, she then tells me she can't accept my card because it has no signature on the back (I just renewed my debit card last month, forgot to sign the back) I tell her ok, whats the problem then I tell her to run it as Debit, obviously if it's my card I have the PIN number, you don't sign for a debit card purchase so why does my signature matter? I then even show her my Driver License showing you its my name on the debit card, I don't understand why they were not continuing the transaction. The cashier then told me again, "Because the back of my card isn't sign".So then I humor this girl, I go and then sign the back of my card, she then tells me the signature on my card doesn't match the signature my drivers license and I can't purchase the item, at this point I'm ready to flip out. YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE THE BACK OF YOUR CARD SIGNED IF YOU DO IT AS DEBIT, AS YOU DO NOT SIGN FOR A DEBIT PURCHASE. I then ask for there store manager, and this very snooty lady comes over, does not even listen to me for two seconds and tells me that its there company policy not to accept any debit cards without signatures, WHAT A LOAD OF BS, and said that she would do a courtesy store manager override to allow the transaction to go though, YOU DO NEED TO OVERRIDE AN EMPLOYEES DIGRESSION TO HARASS CUSTOMERS. The lady then tells me I am never aloud back in there store again!!!!!! Can you believe it I just gave these people money and now I am never aloud back because I questioned a transaction? This is America! I get so mad that I then request for there cooperate 1-800 number the manage refused to provide it to me, and said I can look it up online myself, I then ask her again, she then gives me her District mangers phone number, I call her, very nice lady I spoke to, the District Manager then tells me that its NOT there policy to check signatures for debit cards as they would have nothing to compare it to. The DM then calls the store to get it straighten out, and even tells the store manager not to check signatures for DEBIT CARDS. This same thing happened to the customer before me in line, obviously forever 21 is more concerned about not getting chargebacks than actually helping customer. My worst experience in a store ever, no other store has such a ridiculous made up policy. PS They have no such policy online on there website!! This was one of the most frustrating retail experiences I've had in a long time, and it felt like a…read moreclassic bait-and-switch situation. We placed an online order for bedsheets for in-store pickup at the JCPenney location in Wilton, NY, at a confirmed price of $52.42. We received no communication about the order all day and were only notified that it had been cancelled ten minutes before the store closed. The next day, we went to the store to understand what happened. The associate at the pickup counter told us the item was sold out. That statement was inaccurate. I walked about fifty feet from the counter and found the exact same bedsheet set on the sales floor, along with four additional identical sets still available. When we brought the item to the counter, the explanation changed. We were told the order may have been cancelled because it was considered a "doorbuster" and that the store would not honor the online price. When scanned, it rang up at over $75, more than $20 higher than the original online price. Another customer waiting in line immediately commented that the same thing had happened to her before and predicted they would refuse to honor the online price. We asked to speak with a manager to resolve what should have been a simple issue. We waited, and no manager came. When we followed up, we were told it would be another ten to fifteen minutes. The store was nearly empty on a Sunday afternoon, which made the lack of engagement even more frustrating. Based on both our experience and the confirmation from another customer in line, this location appears to have a pattern of cancelling online orders and refusing to honor advertised pricing, and it needs to be called out. This could have been easily resolved with basic customer service and management involvement. Instead, we were left feeling misled and dismissed. We will not be returning, and I strongly encourage others to be cautious when placing online orders at this location.
