Lid after using pliers and a box cutter to open the container
    Angela K.

After thinking I was crazy for getting so mad that I needed pliers and a box cutter to open the overpriced PLASTIC lid on my Gelato, I did a Google search to see if anyone else has had the same problem. Apparently this has been a well known issue for EIGHT YEARS! Seriously? Get your s*it together, Talenti. And while you're at it, try to put more product in, since it's not even 80% full anymore.

I love Talenti's gelato and sorbetto. They originate from 2003 and they pride themselves in using only fresh milk, pure cane sugar, and in using finest natural and raw ingredients, sourced locally from around the world. They currently have 23 different flavors of gelato: Argentine Caramel (made with golden Argentinean-style dulce de leche), Tahitian Vanilla Bean (made with vanilla beans imported from Papua New Guinea), Double Dark Chocolate (made with semisweet Belgian Callebaut chocolate and a splash of vermouth), Roman Raspberry (made with tangy raspberries), Belgian Milk Chocolate (made with imported Belgian milk chocolate), Toasted Almond (made with toasted and caramelized almonds), Coffee Chocolate Chip (made with Italian espresso and bittersweet chocolate), Black Cherry (black cherries and sweet cream), Caribbean Coconut (shredded coconut imported from the Philippines), Chocolate Chip (dark chocolate and vanilla), Lisbon Lemon (tart sorbetto with lemons), Caramel Cookie Crunch (Dulce De Leche with chocolate cookies), Mediterranean Mint (bittersweet chocolate with fresh mint), Simply Strawberry (sun-ripened strawberries), Sicilian Pistachio (roasted pistachio with pistachio butter), Banana Chocolate Swirl (banana gelato with Argentine caramel swirl and bittersweet chocoalte), Blood Orange (sorbetto with Sicilian blood orange juice), Sea Salt Caramel (Fleur De Sel sea salt with Argentine caramel and chocolate covered sea salt caramel truffles), Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup (Belgian milk chocolate with organic peanut butter and mini chocolate peanut butter cups), Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip (farm-fresh black raspberries with dark chocolate), Alphonso Mango (sorbetto with Alphonso mangoes from India), German Chocolate Cake (milk chocolate gelato with coconut, candied pecans, and caramel swirl), and Southern Butter Pecan (butter roasted pecans and dulce de leche). They also feature pops in Black Raspberry, Caribbean Coconut, Coffee, Mediterranean Mint, Sea Salt Caramel, Double Dark Chocolate, Tahitian Vanilla Bean, and Banana Swirl, all dipped in dark chocolate. If your local grocery does not have a particular flavor you like you can always contact customer service at Talenti and they will locate it for you and/or have the option of sending you one directly - how neat is that?! If I had to choose, my current favorite is the Banana Chocolate Swirl as it really has a great banana flavor with tiny chunks of chocolate and a hint of caramel throughout - not too overly sweet, but just creamy and very tasty!). Check them out as this line is a real treat! +Banana Chocolate Swirl

The Gelato is great, but I always have to completely destroy the packaging to get the thing open.

Nope, never again. The lid is just to hard to open. For the price I can find better options.

If you're looking for a place that is going to serve you food that is nearly identical to Italian…read moresub and pizza (maybe even better) then THIS IS THE PLACE. Mind you, I recently came back from Italy just a few months ago and I absolutely loved my Italian panini. This place is VERY flavorful and has plenty of options that your taste buds will appreciate! They serve also serve pizzas, pastries and gelato which really brings you the full experience of an Italian shop. The only piece of feedback I'd give is the sandwich was slightly salty, however, it wasn't too slaty to where it was unbearable. But, definitely come hydrated in advance! This shop is located in the parking plaza so there was plenty of parking, however, the plaza can get a little busy at times. I can go on and say a lot about this place but I'll just say, this is your sign to go visit! Overall , clean establishment, great food, and great service!

While this sandwich admittedly was very expensive (over $20 with tax), it was definitely delicious…read more And it was a healthy/large serving size. The Panini bread with some of the best I've had in a long time... soft, yet crispy-ish on the outside. Everything about the sandwich was fantastic with one exception: there was a slightly fishy taste on some bites. Needless to say, with the only ingredients being fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, prosciutto, and arugula, not sure where the fishy taste came from. The shop is average looking. I did not eat the gelato, but it looked very good. Service was efficient, but not overly friendly or personable. Person at the counter was more of an order taker, but there were no social greetings exchanged. The bread was so good that I would definitely go back if I had a craving for an Italian sandwich.

When we walked into Jeremiah's Italian Ice shop, I expected it to be warm and inviting. Well I was correct about the warm part, but in a way that I did not expect. The Air Conditioning was NOT working at their shop. Felt bad for the young man working the counter because it was about 85 degrees outside the store, and it felt about the same inside. Ambiance was definitely 1 star because of how hot it was. Also the place needed some tidying up. Tables needed to be wiped. Oh well. At least the product that they sell is nice and cold!! They sell many flavors of Italian Ice. He said that we could sample the flavors so we tried a couple of them. We decided on 3 flavors which were the Mango, Strawberry, and Watermelon flavors. All of them tasted refreshingly delicious. Got them all together in one cup as a Jelati as they call their concoction. A Jelati is "the perfect layering of any flavor (or flavors) of Italian ice and their rich and creamy soft ice cream". We picked their Vanilla flavor for the soft ice cream. The Jelati tasted yummylicious and it looked terrific as well. There are so many options available on their menu. Would be fun to try something new each time. If I lived in this part of Atlanta, then I'd probably be a regular. Actually, I should say that I'd be a regular if their A/C worked on hot days.
