First, over time, they switched from white bread to whole wheat, which I can understand if they want it to appear healthier. Now it wasn't delicious anymore, but still acceptable. More recently, when I tried it again, the taste seemed off. To my taste, the recipe has changed. I didn't just try one, I tried a second sandwich as well. It is no longer even okay. I've eaten at some very modest places in my native San Gabriel Valley in Southern California, so it's not a snobbery thing.
