Literally never ever EVER go to one of these places. I didn't go to this location specifically, but I went to a different talk n fix at another mall and LITERALLY worst decision of my life. All I needed was a basic screen replacement on my iPhone 8 Plus. First of all, the customer service sucked. The guy didn't even look up at what he was doing to talk to me and totally made it obvious that they don't even care about the work that they're doing and just want your money. He then said that the screens they give you look "a little different" according to some people. Yes hello it was A LOT different as in the screen had a blueish tint and I had to double tap every letter to type. All for $130. Damn ridiculous, what's the point of even having a business. read more

I went in to get my screen fixed , in the morning within that day I have charged my phone at least a dozen times . The guy switched out my battery and gave me a bad one . I don't even want to go in there anymore because I can't trust them with my phone so I ordered a battery kit I will change the new battery out myself since these people aren't trustworthy . I asked for a screen repair and a back replacement on a black iphone 8 and they said they needed to order the parts to replace the back. They told us it would be here in 2-3 days and to come pick it up on sunday. I then got a call that day saying the part still hadn't come in. it is currently 2 weeks from the day we initially came and they still did not have the part. they said they couldn't do anything about it. i am absolutely disgusted by this service. read more

Let's start with the positive. They did fix my phone and was ready when they said it would be. My phone fell and screen cracked. When I took it in they told me they had to replace the screen and the LCD to make it work. They charged me close to $200 and said that would fix the phone. Reluctantly I paid for the piece and left my phone. When I got there to pick it up they charged me another extra 40 bucks because a wire was not part of what they charged me previously and they had already purchased it and installed it and I had to pay for it. TOTAL RIP-OFF! They couldn't call me to let me know that this was part of the issue before to let me decide if I could even spare another $40 for the phone. They overcharge and they rip you off. read more

Horrible service.. The salesman took off half of my screen before he said he couldn't fix it because of the serial number on the back. Then he said he can replace the digitizer which was 40 dollars more than the screen repair. I didn't do it, however since my screen didn't work at all any more, I went to at&t and bought a GO Phone for $44. I had to talk the salesman down for 100 to 60 to 50 to replace my screen. DO NOT COME HERE. They would not stand by their work. I had them replace a screen and a month and a week later it starts getting fuzzy and all of a sudden the screen doesnt work anymore and they over charge! Apple store is much cheaper. read more

Don't go anywhere near this place. It's a total rip off. The guy working there "Max" replaces a cracked screen on November 7. The lcd began having lines scrolling all over. Phone stopped working. Went there 12-28-15 Max told my daughter he had to talk to Ahmed the boss and to come Back tomorrow. On 12-29-15 I went there with her. max made a call and whoever he called told him to charge me 100.00 to repair the screen that he replaced a few weeks ago and was not working. ( no damage to the screen whatsoever). I told him I would file a report with the mall management and he then said he would fix it. The original cost was 140.00 with a glass cover. He told me to come back in 2 hours. About a half hour later I walked back over there and Max pulled what looked like a used led and screen from somewhere and replaced the one not working. I watched him do it. He said he would not replace the protective glass he originally sold us when he first fixed the phone. He then asked for the receipt and wrote that this is the final repair PERIOD... Within seconds of handing me the phone it had a line in the lcd and began flickering and not working properly at all. I advised him of this and showed him the lines. He said it will eventually work itself out and refused to repair it. I call ms Ryan from Louis Joliet mall management office and she said David and mike own that shop and she would try to assist. I received minimal assistance from her also. My next step is the BBB and the attorney generals office because I think talk n fix is using used products to repair phones and the will not stand behind their product. read more

these people used plastic on my phone instead of glass, my phone barely tapped a highway ramp barrier and is now completely broken, if you want your phone fixed don't go here, over priced and cheap unreliable work read more

The "used car salesman" of electronic repair. There are other Kiosks in the mall that provide the same service. A very polite salesman, but was given three different quotes to fix the same cracked LCD. Home button broke as I made it to the parking lot. Had them fix two previous phones and had paid between $60 - $120 for the same fix. They try to make up there Discount on overpriced accessories. Trust me you're not getting a deal. I will never use or recommend this store again. Had to remind the salesman sales tax was about 8.75%, not 28%. read more

I took my phone in for a simple screen replacement and they screwed up the lcd and then wanted to charge me another hundred dollars for a new lcd. I wouldn't trust these mutts to install a case. Too bad I couldn't give them less than one star. read more

Talk N Fix is more talk than fix Joliet Mall location!! They replaced my IPad screen Dec 2015 but in the process broke a sensor. The top 1/5 of the screen now is non responsive to touch. Can't post on IPad or use for most apps since you can't go back or exit. spoke to Hussein in person who stated He would order a new sensor. It's been 4 weeks and no sensor or return phone call at number listed on receipt 815-919-9690. Don't go there for any repairs!!!! Would have rated 0 stars if that was an option. read more
