Can I give a ZERO??? Been a customer for Years. Purchased a number of phones and internet service…read morefrom this store. Now, will never walk back in that store again. Owner was RUDE AS you know what to me. I had an issue with my internet router going completely dead out of the blue within my 1 year warranty (had less than 6 months). Customer service told me that the store should be able to give me a new router. I called before I went, he confirmed they had 10 units, but told me I couldn't leave with on that day that he has to issue a return, wait for a unit to come in to the store in 3 days and then I could pick it up. Called customer service back before going to the store, they escalated call and was told by manager that if I go into the store and the store calls them (because they wouldn't have a long wait - I specifically asked) they would work with the store so I could get the unit replaced. I went in, he insisted I call customer service, said he had no other phone number he would have to wait to. He said he could generate a return but then I would have to wait 3 days for one to come in. I asked why I couldn't have one in stock and he keep the one coming in. I also offered initially on the phone to purchase a new router which the store told me I could not do because I could only have one unit in a home. But in store he said I could buy a new unit for $100. That I didn't qualify for the special price because I already had one. He got tired of my questions and waiting for customer service to read the rules and just told me to leave, go get internet somewhere else, he doesn't want my business. This after I asked him, how do we process the warranty replacement. He had one lady waiting, told me to leave and just started helping her. I'm contemplating canceling my entire metro service because of him and will be sourcing new phone service and internet service. In the end, customer service paused my current service (had to call back to cancel) added a new internet line and charged me for a new router (only $10 but I will be calling for a refund as my unit is still under warranty and should have been replaced for free). Now I have no internet for 3 more days (which trust me, I will be contacting customer service for a credit for those days as well).

I told her what I was looking for and she immediately had someone come to help me out. After choosing the cord, I wanted to look at Watch bands. Someone else came to help me. I didn't buy the watchband, but I did buy the very reasonable cord. Price was right! What impressed me the most, was how helpful everyone was to me. I have been in other stores that weren't busy, but mostly you're ignored. Kudos to the manager! You hired the best and trained them well!

I received the burner 4-days late. The tracking information stated it was packaged and shipped by a company called "Uni Uni" (not sure who that is). When the burner arrived, i opened the package and was unable to find any indication of the burner's 4K compatibility. Also, the Features section on the Best Buy website for this burner stated it was compatible with a variety of windows operating systems including Windows 11, but the User Manual does not indicate that feature. I returned the burner to the Best Buy store in Joliet. I explained my findings and suggested to the customer service girl that this was "deceptive advertisement". She said "they have no control over third party sellers". I guess a third party seller can lie about a product and Best Buy is okay with it???!!! So, buyer beware. Things are not as they seem when buying from the Best Buy website.

My vintage system,…read morepurchased in large part from Simply Stereo at their old location, was working fine but I was looking for something better. After answering question after question and really listening to my responses, Dave set me up with an incredible system. He matched a McIntosh integrated amp with a pair of Dali Epicon speakers and a REL subwoofer. He came out to the house, set-up the entire thing and even corrected errors on my video system. The results were incredible. I could not be happier with the component choices and the musicality of the system. It has a great sound stage. Daves interest, attention and willingness to take the time to explain things are second to none. This is the only place to go when shopping for high-end audio equipment.

Stellar experience at Simply Stereo!…read more We were in the market for a new media console, and Salamander caught my husband's eye. He noticed that Simply Stereo was listed on Salamander's website as a premier dealer. He sent an email inquiring about coming in to see some items in person, and we headed there on Saturday afternoon. We were greeted right away by Dave, who was helping a customer carry something out to their car. When he came back in, he listened to what we were there for and showed us upstairs to one of the listening rooms. He patiently answered approximately five million questions from my husband and, as luck would have it, what they had on display almost exactly matched what we were looking for. They were able to to get fiddly with the details of what looking at side panel options and determining how the tv mount connects. It was a no brainer to make our purchase from Simply Stereo. The price was excellent and the customer service was top notch. From the email through purchase, it was a great experience and we'll definitely be back in the future - I think a few speakers caught my husband's eye while we were wandering the store.
