In fact I'm our hour of need they trimmed the nails of one of the pups. Now if you own a Belgium, a beloved dog that will follow its owner till death needed her nails cut. On short notice, no one had a booking available. Ok, on more than one occasion what you seek if you look hard enough will present itself. This little place is in the same parking lot as Planet Fitness, my second home. One morning before leaving Vegas the owner waved to me and introduced herself. Come to find out, I told her about the pup and she was cutting her nails the next afternoon. Now I am just writing this review late. Thank you to this small business and the ladies that made the Belgium a happy pup. They have all sorts of day care and grooming options. They sell all sorts of products for little ones. Come and get it all done locally. They can even pick up your pup. The professionalism is there exceptional.

For very different reasons…read more I reached out on "Ask Yelp" to nearby groomers to see if anyone would be willing to take my special needs dachshund, Rowan, who has a host of issues: partial paralysis with high anxiety, muzzle use, and severe trust issues. Two responded YES but Cindy (owner of 4Paws) had a lengthy conversation with me over chat. Since we live in So Hi and her shop was relatively nearby, I made an appointment for a few days later...and slept right through all 10 alarms and their phone call...rising from the dead 20 minutes after our scheduled time. I immediately called Alicia and could not be more apologetic and embarrassed by this, and rescheduled for today, my birthday. Alicia was oh so gracious and this morning when we arrived, I spent a lot of time speaking with both Cindy & Alicia about Row and what I thought I wanted for him. I've always had short hair doxies and Rowan being long haired was new for me. My fears were immediately put at ease and when I left, Rowan was being the good sweet boy I knew him to be and cooperated during his nail trim. No muzzle needed...which was HUGE for my rescue wiener. Row looks amazing and he turned out exactly as I hoped. My little guy has been zooming around the house all afternoon because he feels so much better. Cannot recommend 4Paws and Alicia enough- especially if you have a special needs dog or cat...YES! Cat...Alicia grooms them, too. Alicia was amazing with Rowan and I could not be more relieved or happy. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday present, given my greatest fears were Rowan would be hurt, or worse, rejected because of his issues. Inside is posh with the cutest accessories, from candles to clothing. I never got the name of the receptionist but she was fab as well. Overall a fantastic experience and I'm excited for Row's next visit in 8 weeks.

I schedule my next grooming a month in advance each time and wasn't advised Ananda was no longer there until I arrived for my appointment in April. I was very hesitant to let someone new groom my dog but was assured the owner knew how to cut him the way I liked and that she wasn't going anywhere so he'd have a consistent groomer. I shared pictures of inspo and detail on how I wanted him cut but when I picked him up he looked nothing like what I asked. I didn't make a fuss and just figured maybe it was my direction. The second time I again shared what i wanted and referenced the photos also sharing what I didn't like from the previous experience. This time, he came out looking worse. His face looked like a lemur but with a double chin of hair. Again, super far off from what I expected and I was immediately unhappy. Not to mention, at this appointment they raised their price again for the 3rd time in less than a year. I paid, tipped and went home. The more I looked at my dog the more disappointed I was to where I had to put clothes on him to help the bad cut. Finally, I decided to message the groomer and express my disappointment and asked if she could fix it before our vacation the upcoming weekend. When I took him in, the energy was off. It was as if she wasn't upset with me for asking her to fix the cut she messed up on. No apology or anything. I knew at that moment he wouldn't be returning here. Very disappointed in my service after being a returning customer every single month for the past 2 years. And then, I hadn't cancelled my upcoming appointment yet but I received a text from Barkingham saying due to "unforeseen circumstances" they cancelled Rocky's next appointment lol he wasn't returning anyway (clearly) but it's the energy I was referring to as if I did something wrong by nicely and respectfully sharing my dissatisfaction with a service I paid $80 for. Again, just extremely disappointed that I even gave this business my money had I known that I would be treated this way for voicing that I didn't like how they cut my dog when it wasn't what I asked for. If this is how customers will be treated I definitely recommend taking your business elsewhere. It's not right. The owners response is odd. I'm glad I have screenshot photos to show her actual response with no apology or offer for corrective appointment. It was me asking for it. No apology was provided when I reached out and no apology was provided in person. When I brought him to his first appointment after Ananda left and I was made aware in that moment I was assured you as the owner knew exactly how to cut him and exactly what I liked. The owner assured me he was in good hands and she wasn't going anywhere. So this response is odd. And a different groomer is for a sure a better fit and that was already my decision to make. However, paying $80 for an uneven cut with my dog looking like a lemur wasn't going to suffice so I asked to just have him evened out all around. Pictures won't even show how he was all chopped up under his neck. 1 photo is before he was corrected after the terrible cut and it's clear he looks choppy and not like I asked. The photos the owner mentioned are "after" the corrective cut are from a previous grooming clearly because how did his fur magically grow back in all around his face? This is false advertisement and I never consented to having these photos taken or posted online. Again, as all potential clients can see none of the response was ever communicated to me in the texts of our communication shown or in person hence my review. I've referred a number of people to this establishment and will ensure I provide everyone an update on this experience.
