Stayed here a few times and really like this park. Check in is easy as well as booking process. All sites are pull through which I love. Extremely well maintained. Someone is always cleaning raking sites. Some sites have a grassy area and some don't. Mostly level on gravel. Bathhouse and pool areas also very clean. Located right off I-10 which is very convenient. My son lives in Tallahassee so I plan on returning. Go Noles!! read more

We booked our site for two nights months before heading west on I-10, booking online was easy and the staff clearly communicated throughout the entire process including the day of our arrival and a follow up after we left the park. As other have stated this is probably best for short stays and overnight stops as you travel through the area. Located a short drive from the interstate this park is easy to find and easy to access, our pull through site was #44 and although gravel it was pretty level and well maintained with full hookups and reliable utilities. We had no issue during our stay and found the park to be quite. We fortunately had great neighbors which is always good, the sites could of been a little wider but they were better than most short stay parks and we had plenty of room for our 4 slide-outs and awning which is typical for RV Parks that have customers who mainly stay only overnight. We didn't use any of the park's amenities but it did appear they were more than adequate including the pool. The staff was out and about everyday cleaning and maintaining the property which is filled with flowering plants and lots of pine trees that provides a good balance of sun and shade. As experienced RVers we are used to navigating our stays without much interaction with the staff so besides a few phone discussions and online communications we never had any face to face interaction with the staff which is fine with us - the site assignments and park information is posted in a small kiosk across from the office. Good place for one night stop if you don't mind maneuvering into it it's relatively a small RV resort with an entrance off of a 4 Lane St. that makes it a little bit difficult to get into. We even had trouble with our GPS finding the right entrance and had to maneuver a rig around in order to get to the entrance. The place was well-maintained, but the sites are tight and congested. We are right on top of the next rig and I was a little concerned about swinging out to make the turn in order to exit like I said OK for a one night stay. Like I said, it was OK but I wouldn't spend a lot of time here. read more

My husband and I spent 3 nights here with our dog and loved every minute of our stay. The property is clean and very well maintained. Every morning staff was out cleaning up the grounds and the bathrooms, which we found to be meticulous. If I had one complaint, it would be that the sites are a bit close together, but that wouldn't stop us from staying here again. We came to visit our son at FSU and this location is very convenient, yet it feels secluded at the same time. We will definitely be back! read more

We had a change of plans due to unexpected circumstances I called to cancel reservation 3 months in advance and they refused to refund a weeks worth of payment in lieu just giving a credit for a future stay that is only good for one year. A Total Nightmare Disguised as an RV Park Our review of Tallahassee RV Park... If you're looking for a place that tests your patience, insults your intelligence, and leaves you counting down the minutes until you can escape, this is it. This so-called RV park is the antithesis of hospitality, offering an experience so poorly managed it borders on fraudulent--more penitentiary than peaceful getaway. Let's start with the amenities--or lack thereof. The bathrooms were reminiscent of gas station restrooms circa 1970: dirty, outdated, and reeking of neglect. The hookups were bare-bones at best, with the 30-amp hookup at our site so worn and weathered that we were hesitant to plug in at all. It's clear the owners haven't invested in basic maintenance, leaving the entire setup feeling like a liability waiting to happen. The Wi-Fi situation was an unnecessary headache. Despite receiving a confirmation email upon check-in--where one would typically expect the Wi-Fi password to be included--it wasn't. Instead, we had to wait until the following day to get it. When we finally did, we discovered it was just their phone number--hardly a secret worth withholding. The lack of organization and forethought here speaks volumes about their disregard for guest convenience. Now for their laughable excuse for being "pet-friendly." The "dog park" is not only a joke but a hazard--it's literally their sloped front yard, leading directly into a busy highway. While leash rules are strictly enforced (understandable), a pack of feral cats roams the property freely. If your dog has issues with cats, good luck--you'll be dodging them constantly. Thankfully, ours don't, but the sheer hypocrisy and lack of safety considerations are staggering. Adding insult to injury, they proudly display a list of "aggressive" dog breeds not allowed on the property. It's 2025--this kind of outdated, discriminatory nonsense has no place in the hospitality industry. To add to the misery, the grounds were poorly maintained, with gravel sites that quickly turned to mud pits in the rain. There was no effort to provide basic landscaping or shade. The park layout was just as bad--long, narrow, and crammed with sites every 12 feet or so from property line to property line, which made getting our slide-outs out really difficult. Maneuvering through was a nightmare, and turning around? Nearly impossible. The cramped quarters meant zero privacy, and you're practically on top of your neighbors. And when you're leaving, you can only turn right, making the process of getting back to the interstate a hectic ordeal in itself. However, the real cherry on this disaster sundae was the staff. It's almost impressive how rude, dismissive, and condescending they managed to be at every interaction. Checking out was particularly hostile, as though our presence was an unforgivable inconvenience. On the morning of our departure, we were running a few minutes past checkout time due to a storm the night before, which left us needing to let some things dry, along with dealing with a loose screw we picked up on the way in that resulted in a flat back right tire. Instead of handling this with any grace or understanding, they called us four times to scream at us, demanding to know if we were staying or leaving. They claimed someone was waiting for our site, but when we left, there was no one in sight--just six or so empty sites sitting untouched. This wasn't about urgency; it was about petty power plays and squeezing every last dollar out of guests--opportunistic behavior at best. In the end, we paid a ridiculous $80 for a single night at this disaster of a place. For that price, we expected at least basic standards--clean facilities, functioning amenities, and a semblance of hospitality. Instead, we got a rundown, overpriced nightmare that left us questioning every decision leading up to our stay. This RV park is an embarrassment to the industry. Between the hazardous pet policies, neglected amenities, cramped layout, and belligerent staff, it's a wonder they're still in business. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone--save yourself the misery and stay literally anywhere else. read more

We're here after an early call from the park to confirm and ask if they could go ahead and place the charge; very nice. We came after the office closed and the packet was on the kiosk as promised. The roads are narrow including a turn to go behind the pull throughs to get to our site. The pull in with a 3500 Doolie and 37' trailer was fairly simple but tight. The biggest thing is it's tight and the sites are on top of each other. Our discharge is next to the neighbors picnic table to illustrate how tight it is. The lawn size trash cans are close and nicer than a dumpster. It's good for one night. Water pressure is low here. read more

Let me say first off, this RV park is for getting off the road and staying the night. If you are looking for someplace to enjoy camping activities with the family you probably want to keep looking. Being right off I-10 and near the auto museum was a plus. Traffic noise doesn't really bother us, but I don't think there was any. Spoke with Keith on the phone to make the reservation and again to check in. He was very personable and helpful. The only other conversation with staff was to ask about recycles (were told they don't recycle because it's too expensive). Most of the RV sites are long And narrow. Think truck stop with a picnic table. We are 36' towing a Jeep Grand Cherokee and we were able to get in OK, but we watched a bigger rig towing a truck have to unhook in the road in order to be able to turn into their spot. The sites are covered in pea gravel, shaded by mature trees, and appear to be fairly level. Unfortunately the pea gravel sticks to your shoes and in between the dogs toes. Apparently some got under the slide and made horrible scraping noises when we pulled it in to leave. As we were pulling out we saw a woman blowing leaves and a fellow raking the gravel in preparation for more arrivals. As far as amenities go, they don't have many. The pool was closed. We did not use the small bath house or the laundry. They do not have a dog park. We needed to stay in Tallahassee long enough to pick up some packages we had sent there, so for our purposes this RV park worked fine. read more

There was so many things wrong with this place! We ended up staying the night since it was too late to go to another place but high tailed it out of there the next morning. We reserved this place 2 months ago and they gave us the worst site ever, the very first spot (#1) that has a view of the office, laundry , tool shed garage and 2-stall restroom shower on the way to the rest of the sites. I saw a number of better sites open so asked if we could have a better site. She said she had none left for two days and tried to tell me what a great site it was, total bull crap! To make things even worse, there was MAJOR heavy construction right next to it snd the horribly loud noise of bam bam etc started early in the morning. That paired up with their garden fix it team of six men having a pow wow right outside our trailer. Other little things like an obnoxious giant light that shined on our trailer all night or every vehicle/RV went passed us coming and going. I figured I was stuck there so did a couple loads of laundry and there was no air conditioning so I had to keep mopping my brow as I folded my clothes. Its really too bad as the place was clean and pleasant looking. A good place to stop if you are traveling east. But give it a year to finish the construction next door and make sure you ask for a space well past #15. I should have demanded a refund for having to leave and for the miserable one night but she made it clear there were no refunds. I think when it's their fault they should give a refund. So by not moving us to a better space or giving us a refund, I get to share my story with you and hopefully you won't get screwed like we did. read more

We're circling the country and have already visited 15 RV parks in the first 45 days. We had a reservation to be in this one a few days ago. We told them we were on the way. Then the weather became remarkably undrivable 90 miles before we could reach them. Many drivers were pulling over or getting off the road. It was literally "hurricane" level rain. Many electrical signs were indicating to "exit the freeway now"! We found a really nice place in Bonifay, FL. They were kind enough to put us in a spot and when we told them about our reservation in Tallahassee, they said, "If our customers don't notify or let us know, we'll charge them but if the customer has let us know they are in a safety situation, it would be wrong to charge them." Good to know.... I called Tallahassee RV to leave a message (after hours) and let them know, it was impossible for us to get there safely. But the next morning, they said too bad, you're to be charged anyway. Despite the awesome...or sometimes, really bad RV parks we've experienced, I've never placed a review. But when one of them says they don't care how bad the conditions were or how unsafe it was... they demand your money anyway, it's time potential RV visitors knew what to expect here. read more

First the positives for us. Cost $50 Have paid less for better but not unreasonable. . Location is excellent Close to I-10. Without the road noise. Surrounding area Of middle class homes . Park has trees and overall nice appearance workers present grooming the grounds. . Having been out for 2 weeks we needed to replenish some supplies during our overnight . Within less than a mile is a Publix Super market. Within . 3 miles is super Walmart, Costco, Bass pro shops and a pet store Negatives for us a 42 ft motor home with full size extended cab pick up dingy. It's a smaller park of 66 sites with 35 sites dedicated to full time. The sites are narrow. Trees a little close. Navigation on the interior roads a little tense. We had to unhook dingy and reposition coach to open the slides. Had to move dingy to front of motor home The staff assigned us a parking site directly beside a fifth wheel In an area where all other sites were vacant and remained vacant until the next AM Because of covid no interaction with the office. Just pick up packet at kiosk. Before leaving there was some interaction with someone raking gravel on the sites Since the person was directly behind the dingy and not moving, we backed shallow and drove across some gravel on an adjoining site. We were told not to do that again they have to Rake the gravel again We apologized and responded why we backed shallow and drove across the front portion of the adjoining site our exchange was light hearted. Perhaps the individual was having a bad day. more negativity was conveyed from the person. Difficult for us to navigate. No where to hook up dingy without blocking interior roads and other sites. Tight for large rigs. . A good stopping site for smaller rigs. Not so much for larger rigs read more

All these recent reviews are LIES. It's not peaceful, woodsy, or a great place to stay with friendly staff. It's the opposite. The owners are terrible with people, don't care about ppls safety or emergencies, they only care about money. They are rude, if you are long term, they steal from you. Don't give you your mail or packages, and will leave u dead inside ur camper for 5 to 7 days in the middle of August and not "find you" until ur payment is due. But also... there is a GIANT Amazon warehouse and other buildings being built 24-7 right beside them. It's loud and at night, it's lit up like a football field. The entire side of the campgrounds lost the tree line and woods that made it beautiful and peaceful. Now its like a trailer park in town. I guess the only pros now about this place is it's literally a few steps away from a brand new tractor supply store and soon to open Amazon office. All that traffic and 24 hour shipping should make for some pretty loud and constant activity 24/7. Karma is a bitch. They should sell the property now. read more

We stayed nine days in Campsite 39, a gravel pull through with more than enough room for our 27' truck camper and jeep tow vehicle. We used 30 amp power and it was steady. The power, sewer and water connections were conveniently located. We were impressed by the cleanliness of this RV park; there are many pine trees and the staff worked hard to keep the sites and roads neat and raked. The laundry is reasonable at $2 wash and $1.50 dry and all the machines were clean and worked properly. We did not use the pool, restrooms or showers but they were all clean and in good condition. A Walmart Supercenter, Publix Market, Costco and Bass Pro are 4 miles away. Wakulla Springs State Park is 23 miles away and worth a visit. We enjoyed our time here and will stay again. read more

We stayed here for a week in January and were happy with our stay. This park does have VERY tight spaces, but the part is well maintained and the owners were very accommodating. This RV park had water, sewer, electric and cable hookups. There was a small laundry room, which was clean. The WiFi was good but not always reliable. I was disappointed to find there was no playground. The owners accommodated my need to use a large mitre saw outside of my RV for two days. Many RV parks do not allow people to work on their RV, but on the agreement I cleaned up after myself they let me. Would I recommend this park? Yes. Would we come back? We got here just after the hurricane and the had the park all cleaned up except they had no power, but had a generator running so there was water. Ok NOT a "park" - Not a vacation destination and not a great place to camp with kids (no playground, one loop pull-thru busy drive). But : It is great for an overnight stay on the road or if you are visiting family/friends in Tallahassee & essentially just relaxing & sleeping there. Off I-10 convenient. And we have had Nothing but Great service, friendly & helpful staff! Absolutely Grade A! We have overnighted there for several years enroute to visit family. Their restroom/bathhouse certainly serves the purpose, albeit basic it's very clean. Besides, due to Covid, many RVers like us have become accustomed to contained camping & only use bathhouse facilities on occasion. Advice - make a reservation. They will hold a spot & call you the day before to confirm and get payment. It is not a huge place & we have seen it full each time we have stayed overnight with them. No Frills but easy. At first we hit a cone in the drive on the way up ( only way I can think it was there is because they are so picky) I picked it up. Then went inside the office to check in, debit cards didn't scan , only credit cards. Then they told me the pool wasn't heated!! Then they ask me to read the rules of the park, what? Never had to do this before. Then as we were setting up camp , our lab was walking around our site( we can take this dog to a market and he won't leave our leg, with no Leisch) the dog olive came over and told Jim the dog needed put inside, they Don't Allow Digs Tethered without someone right with them. Oh my gosh, this resort was a lifesaver. During the hurricane evacuation, we had driven ourselves to exhaustion. We still had 2 hours to drive, but we simply couldn't continue. Angels must have led us here! The grounds are very lush and dense with mature trees. It's a "woodsy" feel as opposed to so many of the depressing trailer park kinds of "resorts." You'll actually feel like you're camping out in nature. The lots are somewhat narrow but very long and easily maneuverable. We saw darling children riding their bikes and leashed dogs taking leisurely strolls. It's a cool spot for families! If you ever need a place to stay for an overnight or a full vacation, this one is adorable. And the staff is beyond kind. read more

I visited here & paid on time. During my visit, the metal cover to the 50 amp outlet got bent, but the electrician tested all 3 outlets in front of me & they all worked fine. Even so, management had entirely new outlets put in & sent me a bill for $500. I then got an angry threatening call from one of the managers saying that if I didn't pay immediately they would be contacting their attorney. I called the electrical company & they said they would never replace a working outlet with a brand new one. When I asked if we could take some time to discuss the truth of what happened the manager refused. An honest person would want to know the truth before any money changed hands. The only businesses that buy things they don't even need are money launderers, extortionists, fraudsters, & scammers. Stay away. read more
