I noticed she was not herself and had a cough. Also I had noticed a unusual breathing noise. Called Paw's and Claw's for a emergency visit. Had to beg for her to be seen. Was told there would be an additional fee to be seen because of over booking The vet was told about all the symptoms and assured me she didn't have a resp. infection. Her situation worsened through the weekend. Saw North Florida Vet., a X-ray was taken, she had a severe case of resp. inf. We lost her an hour later after 4 days of needless suffering. She offers several levels of courses, teaching all the important basics and skills, and also offers individual training sessions as well. She's super easy to reach if you have any questions when not in class, and seems to really love all her pupper students. I really love her approach to teaching, too. She teaches how to positively reward your dog so they can learn important skills that you might not have even thought about, while also teaching how to correct behaviors without having to turn to any sort of punishment that could hurt them like a shock collar or dog whistle. My dog absolutely loves her, and is thriving under her teaching. My biggest issues before training was barking when not getting what he wanted and pulling on his leash. Now, I have plenty of tools to turn to, to discourage the barking and he doesn't really pull when walking now. Like, the change with walks was so dramatic from even the first lesson on pulling, so I'm so happy! The way she trains is with your dogs happiness in mind. We learn about anxious behaviors so we can try and teach our pups in a way that keeps them happy and healthy. Her training isn't about forcing them to exemplify the behaviors fast, it's about doing them in a safe, healthy manner that ensures these behaviors last their whole life.

I'm not sure if my dog could feel it too but he was the most relaxed he's ever been with dogs around. I felt so happy leaving the trainings session because I knew I was working with professionals. I was treated by a very rude and very unprofessional receptionist, She answered the phone by saying (hello). Did not identify where I was calling. I asked to talk to her manager and I was told they did not have a manager. So I want to say I will never darken the door of this animal hospital. Dr. Stege sold out her practice and they kept the name (Timberlane Hospital). They are hurting her reputation that she had had for at least 20 years.

Review - Timberland Animal Hospital BEWARE: Our dog went to…read moreTimberland Animal Hospital for a routine check-up. We were drawn by proximity, but the experience was shocking. The veterinarian pushed repeatedly for neutering and elective surgery despite our refusal. After a brief exam, which included a physical exam, we were told to collect urine and stool ourselves, even though lab work was already included in our $800+ bill. The vet personally called the next day to report normal lab results--which were later proven completely inaccurate. Less than a week later, our dog was diagnosed with stage 3 lymphoma by a specialist, who confirmed Timberland's labs could not have been correct. When we reported this, the vet was cold, defensive, and showed no empathy. She offered no acknowledgment of our distress or responsibility for the apparent errors. Would our dog's diagnosis be any different if Timberlane had done their job and provided the veterinary service they were supposed to provide - the answer is no, but I can tell you this is a very difficult time for us and all Timberland Animal Hospital did was make things that much worse. This was a gut-wrenching experience. Timberland failed to provide accurate testing, thorough care, or compassion. For anyone who cares about their pet's health--look elsewhere
