SUMMARY Visited here per recommendation from our hotel as we were visiting for our wedding anniversary. We went to get something small to eat and dropped by Chimayo's. Afterwards we visited the farmer's market and picked up two desserts. VENUE As mentioned, the market is small but they had about everything that a larger one would have too. Fresh veggies and fruit, crafts, ice cream, pies, and food. We dropped by one place called "Tahoe Pan Ice Cream" which is one of those places that serve poured cream and "scraped" ice cream in a cup. You might've seen this on travelogues on Youtube (popular in SE Asia) and yes, that's the style of scraped ice cream I'm talking about. It was quite good and in a shareable portion size just right for us. There was another shop we dropped by that sold homemade pies. We struck up a conversation with the owners who were long time residents of SLT. They were a nice couple, so we bought their one and only remaining Key Lime Pie. Sorry no pics because we gobbled that delicious pie like nobody's business that same night :) Overall if you're in the area during the summer, it's definitely a good stop if you're NOT looking for large crowds and away from the NLT "scene" near the casinos.

There were about 3 stands selling produce and their items were all perfect. We bought some peaches and all of them are delicious, definitely can't get that taste anywhere else! Limonada consistently has a fan base and I couldn't wait to finally try it. We got a lemonade w/ blue spirulina, tamarind, and pineapple blend. My expectations were exceeded! I was very happy to see Buñuelos being sold by the same family that has constantly brought buñuelos to the Tahoe area. Her father used to walk around selling them and I'm a loyal customer of 20+ years! The same great taste was still there and we finished a bag in no time. Good thing we bought a 2nd.
