    #2. Lamb Hot Soup
    Karen M.

Went to Tasty Pot on a rainy day the Lamb Soup was amazing I got medium heat and it was perfect for someone that enjoys spicy food. Almost a 5 star but I ordered tea and it came in a disposable cup and didn't stay hot very long.

local hotpot champs! We had family mid week date night (I took my loved ones out special treat) I ordered the #7 on recommendation from server With medium heat We had the shrimp tempura as appetizer too Wifey and kid split the curry bowl I had the tiger boba tea and kid got the strawberry. We've had almost all Boba in town and these by far were BEST BEST 10/10 teas My pot remained hot through whole meal slurped almost every slurp! Very tasety very yummy. All together $58 with tip not bad considering mid-town is getting more pricey every year ! Will return for more Bobba !

I haven't tried a single thing I don't like here. The service is quick and friendly. I came here with my son because he loves seafood and has been wanting to try this place. He absolutely loved it. He ordered the Thai flavor hotpot and almost finished the whole thing in one seating. I got the sizzling beef with udon noodles. I love noodles and these did not disappoint. There was so much flavor. The steak pieces were tender. I can't wait to come back.

There's a parking lot right in front, which makes things convenient. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, which is perfect for enjoying a hot pot meal. The staff is always very friendly and the service is quick. They even checked in on us and offered drink refills, which was much appreciated since the soup had a good spicy kick. I ordered the curry pot, my go-to, and it hit the spot. The flavors were rich and comforting, and it tasted even better with their sauce. Highly recommend if you're craving a satisfying hot pot meal!

Tasty says it all. We came back to try something different. We shared everything so don't dog me for chowing down! Kimchi dumpling soup has Taiwanese Cabbage, Pork Slices, Kimchi, Dumpling, Vermicelli, Mini Sausage, Shrimp, Enoki Mushroom, Kamaboko, Tempura, Clam, Fuzhou Fishball, Soft Tofu, Fried Tofu Skin, Zucchini, Imitation Crabmeat, Egg, Scallion in a Pork bone soup. Yes that is just one dish. No wonder it tastes so good. Crunchy, spicy, savory in the rich broth is something you should try. Shrimp tempura with a spicy dipping sauce is her favorite. This is an excellent appetizer. Fried rice is my absolute favorite and the chicken version here is fabulous and makes an excellent breakfast the next morning! Then there is the tiger boba Let's talk....this is so rich and creamy it should be illegal but thank goodness it's not. Check out the picture, you can gain a pound or so just from the picture. Don't miss out on this amazing treat. Our server has always been helpful and suggested dishes for us to try. Great suggestions. Your pot will have a heater inside that I suggest you ask to be turned off as soon as it arrives. Don't worry your pot will still be plenty hot to enjoy. If you try Tasty Pot once chances are you'll be back.

delicious! had to call for a waiter to place an order, but the food was very good. Was craving spicy, hot, asian food and was very delighted to see this in reno. Super satisfied after this meal. The pots were reasonably priced, although their drinks were expensive. Not 5 stars because I wished my pot had more vegetables and the vermicelli portion was a bit small. Delicious overall!

Very delicious! It's a very big restaurant with lots of seatings. Very nice staff as well. I didn't know how large the bowls were going to be. It's super large portions with actual fire so it stays hot all the time. I really enjoyed it. My favorite is the Thai tom yum flavor. Great during cold weather.

Went here with my husband and a friend and everything was DELICIOUS! This place is huge and so nice! I was pleasantly surprised walking in with the table set up as well as the utensils, plates etc. My husband had been wanting to go here and we finally made it here to give it a try! He actually knows the owner because he used to cut his hair! We loved everything we got. Service was excellent and the staff were so kind! I definitely would love to come back here for a date night!

Came to Tasty Pot starving. Anticipating a great and "tasty" meal. Left disappointed. The decor and location was spot on. The concept of having an individual hot pot, rather than the typical, shared hot pot was adorable. Unfortunately I'm not a fan of most all the ingredients that just came in, (no choice), each hot pot. Other than your protein choice of course. I immediately determined I'd not be indulging in hot pot but rather settle for a couple apps. I had calamari and their version of Taiwanese fried chicken. Both were tasty. I also opted to share a Kim chi fried rice and what seemed like a winner dish was actually the worst. The rice was greasy as could be and the rice was crunchy. I imagined the cook scraping it from the sides of the wok. I mean, I was truly shocked that this rice dish was served to us. The sauces offered table side were unanimously applauded. Back to hot pot... broth was not rich nor umami. Faux crab is anathema to my "born in Alaska" esthetic. Not a fan of tendon, fishballs, fried tofu skin and a few other un-discernible items. I imagine this version of hot pot is likely very authentic but like I mentioned, the broth was DOA to start so that was never going to enhance those additional, gratuitous additions. I was most pleased that Tasty pot offers Butterfly Pea Flower tea. I'd have loved a lemon slice but that was not to be had. Most of each hot pot ordered at our table along with the super oily-fried rice were left behind. A couple of people ordered the Habachi plates and both were very dissatisfied with the serving size. I was most disappointed to share such a disappointing review with my Yelp universe. That RARELY happens. But as far as Tasty Pot goes... it was one and done for me.

The hotpot comes out with a tea candle to keep the hotpot warm. The hotpot came out pipping hot and had a variety of Ingredients. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. The soup base options were great. I'm looking forward to trying the boat load of options so so can come back ..

Tasty Pot was delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised to learn it's a chain given how great the food and service were. I visited on a Saturday midday, and it wasn't very crowded, though I imagine it gets busier later in the day. There is plenty of seating, and the dining area was clean and tidy. The veggie options were excellent, and the broth was perfect. My group also loved their boba drinks. If you're in the area, definitely give this place a try , it's worth it.

Did you know that finding Bubble tea after 8pm was hard? I didn't until tonight and it was by sheer luck that I found it at Tasty Pot (open until 9:30 on Fridays and Saturdays, Yay!!) Regular search gave me every bubble tea location imaginable including those that were permanently closed so I had gone to the Thai place at The Sticks which was permanently closed and driving out I saw Tasty Pot has it! They have a decent selection of fruit and milk teas. I didn't eat anything so I can't say anything about the food yet but my passion fruit green tea with popping Lychee Boba was yummy! The food looks great however and I'll definitely be back to try it. They have a nice vibe and the cashier, while very quiet, was very nice. FYI though if you order at the counter, credit tips go to the restaurant not a particular server. I asked. I took a lot of pictures while waiting but my tea was long gone by the time I realized I didn't take a picture of it. Oops!

We stopped by on a Sunday, which is their Dim Sum day. What I really like about this place is that they only prep a limited number of items and when they're done, that's it! So if you want to enjoy their food, you need to get here early! We came at 11:20am (they opened at 11:00am) and it was packed already. By 12:30pm they were out of a few items already. We got the chicken dumplings, crab rangoons, and Khao Sai with chicken. Wow, just incredible all around. The items were served quickly and piping hot. We sat at the bar so we could peek around the corner into the kitchen and watch them prep and slang these items with such speed and precision. I haven't found many places that serve Khao Soi so I knew I needed to get it. The broth was so rich with a spicy complex flavor and a generous portion of noodles. I got the steamed chicken while my friend got the fried chicken - honestly, we probably could've split it, especially since we got the other dim sum items. The owner is amazing, so friendly and really wants everyone to feel welcome. He knew so many people and it makes me want to be a regular here (too bad I don't live in Reno!) The owner is expanding his offerings and occasionally does a drag brunch, which seems really fun! Do yourself a favor and stop by here early and enjoy the amazing food!

One thing we noticed right away was that the bonchon was already set on the tables before guests arrived. It wasn't a large spread--just a small tin of cheese corn and a divided tray with kimchi, bean sprouts, and fish cake--not sure how long they were left out and did look and taste dry. The servers seemed to work well together. Different team members checked on us, cleared dishes, served food, and helped other's tables. Once it got busier, they also used robot servers to help deliver food. We started with the salad with house dressing and the popcorn chicken. Both were good, and the chicken was nice and moist. For the BBQ, we ordered the Chardol, Ju Mul Luck, Hawaiian Steak, Tri-Tip Bulgogi, and Galbi (short ribs). Having eaten at quite a few Korean BBQ restaurants in Las Vegas, we noticed the portions here were a bit smaller. They also limit each round to three appetizers and four meat selections. Overall, the service was good, and we especially appreciated Eurie for being friendly and attentive. The only thing that concerned us was when another server changed our grill. Instead of lightly drizzling oil onto the grill, she forcefully squeezed the bottle, causing the oil to shoot out onto grill. It seemed like an unnecessary safety risk for both guests and employees. Our favorites were definitely the Tri-Tip Bulgogi and the Galbi. Both were flavorful and tender. The Chardol was good, but the slices were very thin and the portion felt a little small. The restaurant filled up quickly between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m., so it's clearly a popular spot. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would come back for the Tri-Tip Bulgogi, Galbi, and the teamwork displayed by the staff.

Parking is fairly easy, with plenty of street spaces nearby, and an easy walk if you're already hanging around the neighborhood. The service was friendly and fairly prompt, and even for a weekday night the place was bustling, leading to a bit of a backup. Cool vibes all around, and it's neat to sit at the bar and watch the chefs do their thing. Though it does mean this is a little bit on the noisy side. Look at the menu, and there are tons of tempting options. As the name suggests, their specialty here is small plate off the grill or out fo the fryer. But they do serve really good-looking ramen, too, which I will make not to try next time I swing by. I at first went with a quick bite of grilled chicken thighs, which were just amazing! They were juicy, eprfectly seared, with some grilled green onions and an amazing sweet soy sauce. I also went with the yakionigiri, which are balls of rice that are grilled, brushed with sauce, and topped with a sort of mango slaw. A bit uncommon, but wow, these were also just so delicious! Also had a glass of sake, though they have a full bar should you want some other sort of beverage. Prices here are, I feel, a little on the higher end for small plates. However, I think it is definitely worth coming and trying this place out at least once or twice, just to expereince some of the good food. I'm sorry it took me so long to finally step through the doors, but I am certain I will be back again to try more of what's on the menu.
