Good food, good portions, and a good price! All of the food in the picture was only around $12.95 and I received my food only 3 minutes after ordering. The food is HALAL and fresh and I could only finish half of the meal. I think it could be considered as 2 meals, which comes out to about $12.95/2 =$6.48 for each meal. Recommend to people who are looking for an affordable yet healthy meal that they can get quickly

Come here for tasty food and speedy service at a great price. Their AYCE lunch buffet is under $20 and there's a nice variety, including salad, chicken tandoori, chicken masala, goat, dessert, and more.

I have come to Tamarind perhaps a dozen times for Sunday lunch over the past year. My wife prefers the Mediterranean "Pizzita" next door in this shopping center, but I have come to love the Pakistani flavors of the dishes offered at the buffet. I do not know the correct name, but my favorite is the goat stew with (curry?) and the salad. The tandoori chicken is also delicious and the lentil and eggplant side dishes are savory and perfectly compliment the overall meal. The owners and wait staff are always concerned that I am enjoying my meal and the Ambiance is casual, yet refined. White table covers contribute to the well maintained dining area. Did I mention the bread? Delicious!! All in all, I highly recommend Tamarind and will be returning often.

We had such a great dining experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated right away. The ambiance is calm, inviting, and perfect for a cozy dinner. Service was excellent -- friendly, attentive, and our food came out hot and fresh. Now for the food -- absolutely amazing! We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, Mixed Tandoori Platter, Rice, Samosas, and Mango Lassi. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the care in every bite. I'll definitely be back and recommending this spot to everyone. If you're nearby, stop in -- your taste buds will thank you

We ordered chicken tikka masala, lamb korma, a beef paratha roll, plus sesame and garlic naan. The curries were flavorful and the meats were REALLY tender, though they leaned on the salty side. The naan was softer and doughier than I prefer, but still good for dipping. Using the curry as a sauce for the beef roll balanced everything out nicely. Overall, really tasty dishes--I'd happily come back and just ask for a lighter hand on the salt next time. About $50 for all of this

Food was seriously amazing. The portion is humongous and the table unfortunately, is too small for all the size of plates. There are so nice though to ensure that you always have a good fill of water. The food took forever to come that we ran out of things to talk! But when it came, oh my how amazing the spread was! Everything was cooked the perfection and smelled and tasted so good!! Ambience is really nice and I really love the lighting that makes everybody look pretty glorious! Definitely a great place if you want an Indian fixing.

Naan was very fresh but not as crispy as I had before

Price is very good for Indian meals but we think in comparison, New Flavor of India buffet place is better with quality. This place still serves very good Indian food. Their tandoori is tender moist and delicious but it runs out very quickly and most pieces are bony. Rice is hard. Chutney.... I won't recommend. Rice pudding has some shredded coconut which gives it nice consistency. Staff are very nice and friendly. Short staffed though.

The food is so good, and the owner is kind. You have to try place. They have many dishes to choose from. They have all you can eat lunch buffet and combo meals. Once a week, I believe there's an all you can eat dinner buffet.

I've only been to their lunch buffet, but with that being said this place is amazing. The standard chicken masala, basmati rice, salad is always served but every other day they change some of the meat. Every single time has been a banger. Goat was tender, fish was soft and delectable, all chicken variations are great with rice. Not sure if the naan bread is unlimited but they have been giving it everything I ask. The mango drink is great too, high recommend you try it. The amount of food variation and buffet for about $20 is already a steal now a days, and to have the food be this good made this place my top 2 spot in Chino. If your deciding on a place to go between 11AM - 230PM, you need to come here. Can't speak for the dinner though

In fact, I respect family businesses. But if they're going to be serving customers, they need proper training and guidance on how to be waiters. My wife and I came here because of the great reviews, and the food absolutely lived up to the hype. The menu is somewhat limited, but I'd rather see a restaurant focus on doing a smaller number of dishes exceptionally well than offer a huge menu with mediocre food. Be prepared to wait. On a Sunday lunch, there were only two parties ahead of us, and our first dishes still took about 25 minutes to arrive. The samosa plate, garlic nann, chicken tikka masala, and lentil soup were all excellent. Easily some of the better Indian/Pakistani food I've had in the area. The problem was our shrimp karahi. While we were eating everything else, it still hadn't arrived. I asked our server about it and was told it was "almost ready." We continued eating, finished our entire meal, and still no shrimp karahi. It finally arrived after we were completely done eating. Not only was there no apology, but nobody even acknowledged the delay. I was ready to tell them to take it back, but my wife convinced me to keep it since the food was good and we could have it for lunch the next day. Food: 5 stars Service: 2 stars

For drinks I had the cucumber mint lemonade. It's their newest drink. So delicious! It's cold, refreshing, and delivers a burst of flavor in your mouth. A must try! For food I had the chicken tikka masala (mild), half rice, and garlic naan. They also give you a small side salad. The garlic naan was the best I've ever had. So moist and not burnt like a lot of other places. You can easily pull it apart with your fingers as it screams, "eat me! eat me!", with delight. The chicken tikka masala's flavor was amazing! I like to try things mild first to see how they taste. Some places serve bland food and mask it with spiciness. Not here. The flavor is all there. Next time I think I'm going to adventure on the wild side and try the medium and then possibly the spicy. The included salad was simple yet so satisfying. The dressing is definitely unique and packs a punch with the spice level but... I like it. *wink* *wink* hahhaa. The rice was perfection. I hate it when it's not cooked enough and too mushy or overcooked and hard. Originally I was going to eat half tonight and then the other half tomorrow but... I know myself. I would just go to bed, wake up in the middle of the night thinking about it, then not be able to go back to sleep until I finished the rest because it would keep calling my name from the kitchen. Hahahaha. I didnt get to see the inside because I got it to go but I'll let you guys know in an update. The staff there is great and they seem like a very nice family. As I've always said, I'm a huge supporter of family businesses. I'm soooo happy I gave this place a shot. I am not only coming back, I'm definitely going to have them cater some of my parties. Enjoy!

Al-Noor could so easily be a 5, you hate to see it, but hopefully they can turn a couple moves in…read morethe kitchen and reach stardom. I'll start with the good: all the curries are fantastic. They're thick, they're flavorful, they hit you with the right spice. Normal spice is a white man's medium high so they got their base down which is more than half the battle. They cook the Paneer just right. And really enjoyed the Bartha! That The not so good: the chicken is way overcooked, I don't know if it's breast or thigh, but it definitely tasted like a dried out breast. Possibly using the tandoori and just dropping it into the gravy, but a perfectly cooked chicken thigh would take the chicken tikka masala to the moon. Second, the Paneer portion size was a joke. Maybe six cubes in the whole deal. Needs to be at least double. I'm ready to try again you gotta protect your meats!
