From the outside, this place looks unassuming and old. Well there's are reason why this place has been here. It is Chinese fast food so don't expect a fine dining experience...besides I would not pay those supposed high-end Chinese food prices. For me anyway, most of the dishes i routinely get taste the same or even better at these hole-in-the-wall establishment's. You get in line, pick out what you want, pay and then you either find a seat or you take it to go. Simple as that. Our kids love the tangerine/orange chicken and chow mein here as opposed to Panda Express. My husband and I also love their mushroom chicken, broccoli beef, honey shrimp, sweet and sour pork, and their egg drop and hot and sour soup. You can't beat the prices and their servings are HUGE! Two can definitely share a plate just fine...three people if you are portion controlling it. Lol. The party trays are reasonably priced as well. They also have a great weekday special on bowls and a drink. I give this place a 5 star for the type of fast food establishment it is , but 1 star taken off as they do need to refurbish the tables/seats and restrooms. Had a craving for Chinese fast food, and Magic Wok was due for a visit. I've eaten here years ago, but haven't been back in a long time. First of all, the owners/staff are nice and friendly. The choices of entrees are your typical ones; orange chicken, broccoli beef, kung pao, etc... Today I picked orange chicken and mushroom chicken with the usual sides of fried rice and chow mein. The meal was filling, but not as flavorful as I've had at similar spots. It was still good, because I ended up scarfing up the whole meal. At some point I said I'll eat half, cus it's a lot of food, then you just can't stop. (Definitely go here if you are hungry!) The store is pretty roomy and they even serve milk tea and Thai tea. Great catering option. We come here often and decided to try the catering for work. It was ready on time for early pick up. Picked up the order 30 minutes after they opened and helped me out to my car. Everything was hot and fresh. Got the option to add the 20pc egg rolls for $15 more. 1/2 trays of fried rice, chow mein, broccoli beef and teriyaki chicken. Great deal for the portion sizes. For being a picky eater, this was pretty good. The food was made fresh because there was a lot of people, so they needed to keep making new batches. The owner/ staff are amazing. I tried the sampler special and it was pretty good. The only thing I didn't like was the fried shrimp. It was just a very tiny shrimp with so much batter. it was literally just batter on top of batter on top of batter. The shrimp was probably like 1 cm by 1 inches long. I got the orange chicken with the chow mein. I thought it would be something similar to like panda express or something, but I would usually get when I go to a Chinese food restaurant and it was not. They offer a pretty big portion, but the food was just not that great. I think the best thing was the dumpling. The chow mein was really sad and plain and did not really taste stir fried fried or flavorful. It tasted like some sauce was mixed or some noodles in a bowl. The orange chicken was not sweet at all and did not have that tangy flavor or sweet flavor that you would find in orange sauce. It did not satisfy my orange chicken craving. Insane portion sizes and I tapped out about 2/3 into my one item combo. Green bean chicken was pretty good and the beans were actually crispy. This is not a gourmet place but it was tasty and cheap. I was very happy with the portion size and price of this place. It was busy and for a good reason! We ordered 3, 3 item combos to feed about 9 people, and it was more than enough food. They let us taste food as well, which was nice post covid. The tangerine chicken was my favorite. It was sweet but not too sweet and had a little savory taste, too. The bbq pork was okay, I think it had too much marinade on it, but it was good as well. The chowmein is always great, and this one didn't have too many veggies, which my kids liked. It was about $13 for a 3 item plate, which is a STEAL! You can even eat inside if you would like to. Finally found a great fast food Chinese restaurant. They have lunch specials and a daily special. Prices are good. Ordered mushroom chicken and green bean chicken bowls and both were excellent. The only issue I had was the restroom was not very clean and needed repair. Service was excellent. read more

Ok first thing I go for lunch and sit down to eat. Half way through my meal , I notice a hair in my orange chicken. I pull it up and it's embedded in the orange chicken. I call the guy that rang me up over. I told him I don't want to make a big deal and showed him the hair inside the chicken. He's immediately sorry. He says I'll give you another combo meal.. I was okay sounds cool ( I should have asked for my money back) he gives me another combo different items with the chow mein/fried rice. I haven't been here for a while. The menu is fully updated and are on TV screens now. What an improvement. Yes prices have increased but what places haven't increased their prices. We order the wonton soup ahead of time because it takes like 10 minutes to make. And you can order your combos ahead also and just pick it up. The place feels the same; fast Chinese food, but the new menu is a great surprise. They may have a new chef, because the flavors are a bit different from what I remember. The Chow Mein has a bit more cabbage and is less orange/brown in color. The taste is different from what I remember but it is not bad just different. All in all we ordered 2 one item combos, 1 large wonton soup, 1 Sampler Special, 1 Small A La Carte Honey Walnut Shrimp, and 1 Medium A La Carte Chow Mein. The total was under $39. The Chow Mein for me was a drastic change just because my kids used to love that it had minimal veggies and a lot of noodles but now it's Mama picking the veggies out for them. read more

I ordered take away earlier this evening and I was sorely disappointed in the meal I received. I ordered Kung Poa chicken, chow mein, and fried rice. The Kung Poa chicken is 80% celery?! I have never seen celery in Kun Poa chicken, very odd, and not tasty at all. I was expecting peanuts, maybe some onion and peppers, but only got celery. My brother and I went to this site to order food for a family of 13 and the portions were enough to have leftovers. We selected to get a the deal priced at $31 dollars which included spring rolls. The overall taste of the food is better than a Panda Express. The chicken, pork and vegetables were not over cooked or stale as some people have said they are.
