I have been taking my 2019 Expedition there for oil change and other services for last couple of year. This has been the worst experience I have had, bought a car from here, a few months later the car was leaking inside from the room, but thats not all, i took the car to service and they tell me that is not covered by warranty, i just need my car fixed so i tell them thats fine just get it done, 2 WEEKS later in still here without any update at all of how long my car has been on the shop but thats not all, the Service Consultant i had assigned to me, i have called about 6 to 7 times to TALK i just want an UPDATE I'm not asking for my car to be fixed tomorrow I'm asking to know what is going on and every time, i swear every time i call his extension it goes to voicemail, i have left voicemails throughout the whole week and you think he would call you back right? well you would be WRONG, not 1 call, so i have been 2 weeks using a rental that I'm paying out of pocket and no update at all, when i call i get the someone in the front desk that all he does is just transfer me to this Jeff and my calls goes ignored, i cannot believe that i might have to go to onsite to just get an UPDATE i cannot believe what customer service would make you do that, so if there's anything you need to do at this service dept. in this dealership, i will tell you, please make sure you did your research, because they will keep your car for weeks and not even have the curtesy of giving you a call or an update, very disappointed, specially after they sold me that USELESS warranty that i paid extra to have for nothing. Really would reconsider buying or servicing at this location. UPDATE: I went on site after i got tired of waiting and would you not believe what they told me there, apparently they had NOT touched the car for the past 15 Days, unbelievable!! Never have i gotten a text or anything, i even wanted to do the oil change as i PAID FOR IT WHEN THEY SOLD ME THE CAR (NOT RECOMMENDED) and they still wanted to charge me 60$, to make the story short, they said the car was not leaking and they had forgotten to call me to let me know, i was furious but i let it go trough, they told me come back in 1HR to pick up the car, i did and when i picked up the car, all the trim were on the floor, the car was almost in pieces inside, i will be uploading pictures because this is honestly see to believe, and the car, FULL OF WATER ON THE BACK! and suddenly they changed their story saying i had to take it to a BODY SHOP, ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! i have no words to describe how disgusted i am at such as a company that "prides on their customer service" is as amateurish and unprofessional as that, i have swore to not step on this dealership on my life, please beware, these crooks will rattle you into buying a car with the warranty and all that crap so they can back stab you later. The interior floor carpeting of my 2019 F150 was getting wet periodically from rainwater leakage. I took the vehicle to Tamiami Ford, where I purchased it, for leak detection and repair on April 2, 2024. After a few days they called and said the sunroof was leaking and the solution required a full replacement. They told me my cost was $2,221.65 plus tax. I authorized the replacement. They did the work. I picked up the truck and paid them $2,354.95 on April 11, 2024. On August 4th, 2024, the truck flooded again from rainfall in the exact same spot. I have video documentation. I found the location of the leak and fixed it myself. I called the service manager, stated that they did not repair my vehicle, a mistake was made by not finding the actual leak source, sent him the video evidence and asked that upon their review we could discuss reparations. Their response was that they fixed the vehicle properly and that they were done discussing the issue. Subsequent discussions with the dealership VP have yielded no redress to date. Very disappointed with Tamiami Ford's refusal to admit their mistake and in fairness and good practice refund the cost of the unnecessary work. read more

My name is Erick Martinez, and yes Ford, you may feel free to look me up (I was in there today 9-15-18). Since I've had our Ford Fiesta 2016, we have always brought it to the dealership to get the same, consistent service I have come to expect time and time again. Every time it's due for service, 10,000, 20,000, 30,000, etc. I always bring it to Ford FIRST and you guys go through the service schedule and do what needs to be done and the service has always been great and the car has always run perfectly. The reason for this review however is what happened this service. I bought it in for the 60,000 mike service, and was told the service ran $168, new brakes $230, and an alignment $65. Lo and behold I get a phone call that the cooling fan at the radiator needs to be replaced, as well as the purge valve. The fan alone I was told was $250, as well as $250 for the labor. The valve would run me $369 so $869 on top of what I originally brought it in for. I decline the two, and when I pick up the car the bill came out to $683. $66! Jesus Christ it's a Ford Fiesta! A clown car. And I'm paying more than I paid for the 60,000 service on my Chevy Colorado. And that's a truck. I looked at the bill and I was charged $179 to change four spark plugs. FOUR. I look up the parts and each spark plug is $10, and I literally sat in the parking lot and watched a five minute video where spark plugs were replaced in five minutes. But the labor was over $100 to change them. Did mechanic 710 fall asleep in the break room while he was supposed to be working in my car? I can't wrap my head around $179. I literally got bent over, and raped by the company I've trusted for years. No lube. They pulled my pants down and aimed for penetration. I don't understand how Chevy include the spark plugs in the service, but ford charges separately for those. Ruth, my service advisor told me the fan alone costs $250, and a simple google search revealed that was crap, they run about $115 (and yes, authentic Ford part, not aftermarket) and again there is a video of about 8 minutes long where it shows how to replace the fan, and where it's located. How is it that an average joe can replace it in his garage in under a half hour, but mechanics who work for the dealership need to spend two hours doing it? It makes zero sense. As I walked outside and saw the 13 cop cars parked in the service area, I came to the realization that Ford fell off. Their service is GOOD, but their pricing for parts and service are an abortion to say the least. Ruth would probably do the dealership better if she went to the front and answered phones instead of attempting to make it as a service writer. Speaking to her over the phone left zero doubt in my mind that she has absolutely no idea what she's talking about. Update 9/23/18 I went to autozone and I purchased a cooling fan for the radiator for $115. It is motorcraft brand which is the same that Ford uses in case anyone is wondering. They wanted to raise me 217% on what the price is worth, and quote me $250 for Labor. So $500 total! My co worker and I changed it in a Publix parking lot in UNDER 25 minutes. My sales person was Chuck I was recommended to Chuck by his son whom I purchased a car from at another dealership only 2 years ago. Which by the way, was by far the best car deal I've ever done. I was in need of a new used truck . I purchased the vehicle during the tropical storm on Labor Day. There was no other customers there but me. I noticed a strange smell in the truck and could tell The used F150 truck was smoked in . Chuck sold it to me as a non-smoked in vehicle as it said on the vehicle description as well. Technically which is blatant lie. As were the tires that didnt even have the minimum level of tread depth to be sold on the vehicle. The truck only had 15k miles on it. So I could tell the tires were swapped and no way had only 15k miles on them. Why the dealership didnt change them is beyond me, but I was in need of a truck, and the price was fair. I asked that Chuck have the ozone treatment done if I purchase the truck because my kids are very sensitive to cigarette smoke and also that he have the truck detailed since the tropical storm destroyed the outside of the vehicle and it was filthy. Chuck promised it would be done, yet it took 3 weeks after I purchased the truck to even hear from him about getting it done. Then at that time he said that i had to bring it in during the work week and wait on it as he could not get me an appt at the outside detail shop(not affiliated with Ford and I later found out was open on Saturdays by appt). The burden to get this done is on the dealership, not me. That was a term of the deal. Be it a verbal term, it was a promised term. That means going out of your way to get it done by providing a loaner vehicle or at the very least an appt time to ensure I wouldn't be waiting all day for a 1 hour treatment. Chuck has continuously acted very unprofessional by debating and challenging me every time I've asked about getting it done and even has told me how he was paying out of his pocket to have it detailed and that I should be appreciative as he really shouldn't be getting it detailed. I asked that he just send me a gift certificate to have the ozone treatment done, and that he could keep his "charity" detail even though it was promised. Any other dealership in town including his sons would have had the truck detailed on their dime and right away, especially after buying it during a damn Tropical storm and how shitty it looked when I left the lot. This type of service is not what i expected from Tamiami Ford. Very very poor customer service. Maybe it's not the same with other sales reps....but I would stay clear of this dealership if this represents even a glimpse of the staff there. read more

Recently moved here, and needed a place to get my Ford Fusion hybrid serviced, including an oil change. Sent me over to their Quick Lane service, and they were not accomodating at all. First off, they have a 2 hour lunch window, where you can't schedule any service. Well, with my schedule, there is no way I could do this, and he wasn't very nice about it. Quickly called a different Ford Dealer, they will take me on my schedule, and were extremely nice about it. He told me I had to find a co signer and if I didn't I would have to pay up to 30% down. Took my car in for service I had made an appointment. When I got there 4 service managers were just standing around and I told them I was here for service. One of them looked up my appointment and told me I needed to see the one service person that was waiting on 2 other people while the rest of them did nothing. Once I met her she told me that they could not get to my car for over two hours and I asked her why then did I have an appointment. Her response was that they could take me somewhere but I would need to get my own way back. I believe this is terrible customer service. I drove 45 minutes to get there to just turn around and drive 45 minutes back home. I called and ask to speak with the service manager they never returned my call. I worked at this dealer 18 years ago as a tech for slightly less than a year before I left the area from lack of work in the service department. I can say I believe most of the negative reviews about this dealership. There were a few reviews concerning the service department that showed a lack of knowledge on the customers part pertaining to the mechanical workings of their vehicle. But in a slight defense of the customer, the customer can only express what they know when writing a review on what they are told by the service writer who most of the time knows nothing about the working aspects of a vehicle. They are strictly a commissioned salesman. Speaking from a techs point of view, the atmosphere working there was good in the service department back then and I enjoyed working there. There were a few untrained techs working there back then which will affect the overall review of this dealer. It appears they are still hiring people that lack expertise and training in the service department which is reflected in the negative reviews here on Yelp. In the dealer's defense I'm sure they are having a hard time recruiting good techs because of the cost of housing in this area or the long commute from affordable areas further north. Based on the reviews here and speaking as an experienced tech I wouldn't take my vehicle here for service especially if they are really slow. If they are slow you can bet they have techs that are trying to figure out ways to pay this weeks bills since they are only paid for the actual work that they do. Who ever walks in the door next has the potential of being the next victim if they are the unlucky one to get a less than a honest tech/service writer. I'm not pointing a finger at this dealership in-particular since I haven't work there in 18 years, but at all dealerships of any brand as a whole. Most dealers have at least a couple of people that are like that. The best thing a customer can do to protect themselves is do your home work on your vehicle as much as you can and keep an eye on any person or company that wants your money. As far as the sales management goes, since they are up-front using those old out dated sales tactics that are misleading and borderline illegal, I can't imagine what tactics they would use on a customer when they have hooked their interest on a vehicle and have them alone in the sales office and the salesman is going back and forth between the customer and the sales manager. read more

This place is an absolute dumpster fire if I could give it a zero out of five I would I currently drive a Ford flex and was planning on upgrading to a Ford Explorer which has always been my dream car once my children were slightly older however I would never in 1 million years consider buying another Ford vehicle while I live in Naples because this service department is absolutely horrendous. This was not a one time experience I have had to bring my car in for recalls air-conditioning issues among other things and every single time I bring the car in my experience is dreadful. I have made appointment weeks in advance only to have my car that they're completely unlocked at four days like three or four days of it just sitting there while I'm without a car One time it sat there on service for so long that I finally picked it up before they even got to it because I could not be without a car any longer. I have actually pondered whether the staff is intentionally messing with me because their service is truly that bad. At one point I drove around without air-conditioning in South Florida summer for more than three weeks because I was dreading having to go back to this wasteland. I plan on selling my vehicle as soon as it is financially possible and buying a different mate just to avoid ever having to return to this place it is absolutely unequivocally the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Have given this place "more than one chance or benefit of the doubt" but enough is enough. Went in for a simple service today. After the hour was up the service guy came up and said "you need 24 lug nuts". Huh, what? He went on to say that my lug nuts are worn out and they all needed replace. He happened to have one with him. A sample, not mine. Really? They, of course couldn't rotate the tires unless I bought new lugs. New lugs for $5 each. So about $120. Of course I said to forget it and get me my truck. Took about 30 minutes but finally they brought it up. I looked at the lugs and all of them were in perfect condition except one that on the front right wheel. Obviously the idiots used an oversized socket and stripped the hell out of it. This is nothing but "cheap crooked" BS and they are use to being able to take advantage of people that are not paying attention. (By the way, you can buy lugs for about $1 each, not the $5 they wanted.) Again, it wasn't needed service, they just ruined one and decided to try and cheat their way out if it. Avoid this place. I have been here a few times for oil changes and an attempted minor repair--stay away! The oil changes take forever and you can't trust them when they tell you that you have a problem. During my last visit I was told that I had a slow oil leak and the repair would be 688.00. I found it hard to believe since I hadn't seen any oil on my garage floor. I declined their "repair". Over the next few days I keep looking at the garage floor and there was never any evidence of an oil leak. I then took it to Windermere auto repair (great place!) and they confirmed there was no oil leak. There was some residual oil from the last oil change which was done by Tamiami Ford. So Tamiami Ford caused the problem and then claimed it was something else and wanted me to pay 688.00 to fix it! Prior to this last visit-I took my SUV in because there was a rattle in the passenger side door. They couldn't find anything and made it seem like I was crazy. I then took it to Windermere (again a great place) and they found the problem immediately. Repaired it for under $100.00. Just stay away--they are incompetent and untrustworthy! read more

I purchase a beautiful Mustang Cobra and decide I'd like to have a new carpet installed, it's all I need to make this car perfect! Why not go to Ford and have this done, keep it all original... After my car is there a week I figured I'd call, see what the hold up is.... I was told to check back in a few days... I get the run around the next few times I call... I decided to go in to find out what's happening..... The Service Writer tells me there has been a problem with my car.... Apparently my Cobra was broken into and the thief had stolen the entire top half of my Engine!! I'm upset but thinking.. It's only a small setback.... Parts are probably on order and I'll get my car back soon.... Wrong! Tamiami Ford is not responsible for anything that happens to my vehicle while in their care! I'm on my own.... Now I'm pissed! Of course my car won't start with half my engine stolen.... I call a tow company, driver shows up and I attempt to load my vehicle so I can deliver it to someone who can get my car fixed, I'm not spending a single $$ here... I suspect the culprit is probably an employee of Tamiami, who else knows what's under my hood... right? I'm told they won't release my car to me until I pay for the carpet!!! Now I'm pissed! Not to mention these people are treating me like I had something to do with this, treating me like I'm the criminal!! I'm fighting to get my car out of there.... They call CCSO, Police show up and tell me I have to pay for services rendered before I get my car back. I pay, get the car on the truck and leave. Final outcome..... I have to put an insurance claim for over $4,000.00 into my insurance company, $500.00 Deductible out of my pocket and my rate goes up...... Again.. it's been several years... I never did get over it... I will never consider doing any business with Tamiami Ford and strongly suggest you won't either.... Get a call, gonna need to keep it overnight. Next day find out they ordered the wrong part. They decided to not charge us the restock fee after we complained because obviously it was not our error. Peter's patience is commendable as he took as much time as I needed to answer all my questions. In the past I have always dealt with a broker because I didn't want to feel pressured by a fast talking sales person. Peter was anything but your stereotypical car salesman. His professionalism and attention to detail is nothing short of fantastic. And as far as the Ford vehicle goes, it's truly an amazing piece of technology. I feel like I'm driving a luxury vehicle with 4 wheel drive. The Bluelink "hands free" driving capability cannot be understated. I've always enjoyed driving but over the past several years it's been more and more difficult to drive for extended periods of time. My first trip was from Naples to Nashville. I purchased a brand new 2014 Ford Mustang and have had problems since I purchased it. My engine light has been coming on for about 1 year. I took it in for service several times because the engine light was on and they would hook it up to a computer and shut the light off. July 1st I went to Tamiami Parts and ordered the front door gaskets and the two rear hinges on the window for my 2007 Ford Escape. When the parts came in, I asked about having them installed. Parts referred me to Service. I went to Service, meet Jose. Jose gives me a date for installation three weeks out- Week later I call Jose. Jose tells me that he can send Techs to my house- First he needs to check schedules. It was late that very afternoon, get home and find two (2) tech arriving to install the parts. Since it was raining, I put car in garage for Techs. took them 30 minutes -parts installed. Sr Tech says I'd hear from Jose about charge. Ten (10) days later Jose calls, (allegedly) wanted to know how things were-- I told him, this is BS, you're looking to get paid, but I dont have an invoice- He tells me he the charge $260. Know he's trying to cover his ass- Jose wanted to send someone out then and there for payment- went to Bank got certified check and mailed it. Have been and still am waiting for an Invoice, I wrote Service Manager, Generakl Manager and the owners-- to this day still waiting- wrote Better Business Bureau- ford sent note they would send invoice-- its been two months or more and still cant get an invoice-- I paid the bill- whats the problem? When you purchase a vehicle the dealer over estimates some of the documentation expenses and eventually provides a check refunding the difference. Not Tamiami Ford. They provide a "gift card" for the amount that can only be exercised at the dealer. The purpose is to have you spend the money with them according to Opticard the issuer. Since I now live outside of Florida I twice requested of Tamiami Ford, including an email to the manager, how best to receive my refund and have received no response. Was looking for a truck with 4 doors. The salesman wasn't impolite, just didn't know what stock he had. We wondered around the lot for a few minutes and came up with nothing. If we just sat in the AC, talked about the features I wanted and he told me what he had, it would have been so much better. Rather disappointed in the quality of sales force this business has to offer. When I mentioned that I may consider a used truck, he just pointed me in the direction of their used car lot, about 100 feet away, then split for the salesroom. Now that's pathetic. read more
