Highly recommend Taming the Wild in Memphis! Both our 8-month-old Lab/GSP puppies just completed the 2-week training course and they are completely changed for the better. Ashley was our trainer and was phenomenal. She was very professional and did an amazing job communicating with us during the 2 week course. Ashley sent us photos and videos to show their progress every few days! The transition from trainer to owner was seamless, as both our puppies quickly understood all their new commands from me. I believe this is mostly from the trainer teaching them with body language and physical directions in addition to verbal commands. Our dogs are honestly more confident and eager to use their new skills! Highly recommend Taming the Wild!

"Taming the Wild" - to the Rescue Our fur-daughter, the Unsinkable Molly Brown (a/k/a Molly), spent two weeks attending Taming the Wild's "Phase 1 - Basic Behaviors". Since Molly's arrival, we spoiled her, reacted to every one of Molly's wants, and created a puppy that needed some manners! As new fur-parents, we knew we needed some help! "Taming the Wild" to the rescue. Molly spent two weeks learning how to sit, down, heel, place, stay, and off. Every employee LOVED our dog - with consistent rewards and corrections, hugs, encouragement, smiles, and loving gestures. All the employees knew Molly by name, addressed her, and treated her with the utmost respect. Molly not only learned to be a wonderful member of our family, she became a member of "Taming the Wild's" family. Molly's life has improved tremendously since attending "Taming the Wild". The trainers and staff will forever be our 'heroes'. Thanks for 'taming the wild' in our Molly!

Cooper just finished his two week board and train with Taming the Wild. Coop is every bit the 1 year old Vizsla. He is sweet and lovable and goofy and a Velcro pup. I'm also fairly certain he could hop up tomorrow and run a full 26 mile marathon and not be the slightest bit fatigued at the end. That energy is a lot to handle! My schedule as a pediatric resident doesn't allow for a whole ton of free time and training him felt like an overwhelming mountain of a task. Watching Joshua demonstrate what Cooper learned at our turnover session left me speechless... as did watching how seamlessly he also took direction from me. What was an overwhelming and frustrating task now feels a lot more manageable. Coop still has a lot to learn! But now he has a meaningful foundation where I feel like working with him for 20-30 minutes at the time can make meaningful progress. Not to mention the fact I have a team of resources at my disposal to help in conquering the rest of the hurdles. Whether that is a short call, text, or attending a free refresher course for the indefinite future. And I was given the education while he was away to know how to achieve the results. In two short weeks, he will walk on a leash without pulling. He will remain in a position he is told to stay (even if you're tugging his leash attempting to make him move). He will go to his "place" and stay there while I do chores, study, work, cook, or clean at home. Then I can enjoy having him around instead of wanting to pull my hair out!! He is even doing these thing with the ever present distraction of my older dog. If you are considering Taming the Wild, do it. You will not regret it.

    Hooray Buggs!

We've put two dogs through the Enhanced/Reactive dog three week training at Taming the Wild. Both experiences were wonderful, and the change in our dogs was nothing short of miraculous. While both dogs had very different personalities, they both shared backgrounds of neglect and likely some trauma. The team at Taming the Wild is incredible. All of my interactions with them were positive and supportive, including my initial discussion and drop off with Evan, my consultation appointment with Bryan to discuss appropriate training options for our most recent rescue, and our training experience with McKenzie, who worked with both of our dogs. Training through Taming the Wild is expensive, but it's worth every penny. While our second dog just returned yesterday from training, I have already seen a significant change in his obedience and confidence. I would not hesitate to send a dog to the experts at Taming the Wild. Not only do they know what they're doing, but they truly care about giving dogs a better quality of life through training.

Absolutely a waste of money. I paid $3700.00 and my dog knocks me over trying to get out the door before me. She still uses the restroom in the floor. She definitely does not come when called. This place is a total joke. Before you take your dog here message me and I'll send you video of my dog. This place is a joke And total WASTE OF MONEY. When I called taming the wild the first day she got home because she used the restroom in the floor. I called the next day when she knocked my grandmother down farting out the door. I can't express to you how disappointed and furious I am at this place. They actually had the nerve to say well you can bring her once a week on saturdays for refreshers. Seriously she hasn't been home two weeks and I spent $3,700.00 and you want me to bring her once a week. Inbox me for videos before you waste your time and money.

His furniture is so bright he had to have shades

Bryan and his crew are great. We took a rescue lab mix as a pup Platte and he did classes and daycare and is a awesome dog. He is great with my grandkids, listens and follow commands. They have helped us have a well behaved attentive dog that is a joy to own !! Thanks to Pro-Train and Bryan !!!
