Camp bow wow is an awesome place to take your dog for daycare or boarding! My dog loves it here. When we pull up, she hops out and runs toward the door and never looks back. She is totally pooped when I go pick her up. There's an app you can download to see your pup through out the day. Although, we had some issue with staff being lazy and not paying attention to the dogs. My dog was getting beat up by another dog. The staff member was clearly on his phone and paid no attention. But this issue has been resolved. That was the only complaint I had and the manager/boss has addressed the issue. Other than that, this is a great place! Would definitely recommend!! read more

I love this camp bow wow. The staff is so attentive and caring. They made me feel so comfortable and really love my two girls. They are such a blessing for days that the girls wouldn't be able to play outside at home, due to the weather. They go above and beyond and even listen to feedback. I am so grateful that there are people like them that truly care about your pets just as much as you care about them. I highly recommend this place! One of my favorite features is it's so much fun to be able to see them interacting on camera. They clean thoroughly each night and make sure the girls eat. My dogs love to stay here! They get to play and socialize with their friends and have a great all around fun time experience. We have 2 Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, 1 old (almost 10) and the other one will be 4 in May. The old man gets to hang out and sleep, the girl gets to play all day. This place is a saving grace. I've tried so much with my husky/Shepard mix. I take her on play date, dog park, walks and runs but nothing wore her out. Took her here, she's sleeping like a baby as soon as we get back home. Not to mention the pricing is very fair even the boarding they provide INCLUDES camp. Very uncommon at boarding/day camp places. Terrible experience. I did not trust having my dog staying at this facility and it was truly a scary experience. While checking in the staff was rushing the process and not taking notes on the care needed for my pet. During the stay it was clear all dogs were not getting out of their kennels as much as they say they would, I checked the cameras throughout the day. Also cameras stopped working for 1 day during our pets 8 night stay. We provided specific instructions to staff in regards to our pets care and these instructions were not followed. We regularly attend camp bow wow locations in Nashville and have a 10/10 experience every time. And in Memphis east the communication was great from management but follow through from floor level staff was terrible. We will never board our pet at Memphis east again. read more

Not for us. We were looking for boarding/day-care combined and Camp Bow Wow offered a reasonable pricing. Their website makes you slightly jealous of your dogs. This location is clean. I love that they are very thorough with verifying vaccination records. And the cameras - who doesn't love being able to watch your pups all day? Too bad it didn't work out for us. One of my babies has a "slow to warm up" personalities. However, she attends day care regularly and does well (our day care doesn't offer boarding). We told the staff she hated it when other dogs approached her when she was on leash. When we checked the camera about 5 minutes after dropping her off (a drive from exit 14 on I-40 to stop light on Sam Cooper and Parkway on a weekday morning traffic), she was still on leash with other dogs approaching her! I don't know if it's their protocol but other day care doesn't do that to her. We received a call about an hour later that she did not do well and will not be allowed day care time. I wish they could have spent more effort working with her. My parents are still making fun of us that the dog "failed the exam". To sum up, it seems like a good place to be if you have a well-mannered dog with perfect temperament. Good luck! read more

We unexpectedly had to cancel our overnight accommodations and needed to board our dogs at 6:30pm. When I called McKay jumped into action immediately. She asked the necessary questions and got my dogs paperwork sent over from the location they frequent by our home in Nashville. She was polite and calm even though I was a dramatic mess panicking but she made me feel so much more at ease. When we arrived another associate Bailey jumped into quick action to feed my boys right away and make sure they got settled before they closed for the night. 10 out of 10 for these girls for helping us and being so accommodating last minute of a Saturday evening. read more

Our dog is about 14 years old but still active. They kept an eye on her and made sure she was doing ok. We couldn't have asked for more. I loved this place from day one but my last visit was very disappointing. My young dog (8mos or so) went one day when the weather had been bad and he hadn't gotten a good walk for a day or two so he needed the exercise. I checked the cameras around 9a and was surprised to see my dog locked in a play area by himself. I didn't think much of it and checked again in an hour. My dog was still in a pen alone, laying on the floor, pawing at the door to go play with the other dogs. My boyfriend called to ask what was going on and the woman he spoke with said he had continuously tried to hump one dog in a play area. He finally got to play with the other dogs around 1:30. I was quite upset and was not asked to pay but still don't understand why there was no alternative option for my dog other than to spend half of his day in isolation. It seemed worse that he could smell and hear the other dogs playing while he wasn't allowed to join. With so many other dogs and play area it seemed that moving him to play with a different group would have sufficed. I respect their commitment to a safe play experience for all but I felt they may have been ill-equipped to handle the volume of dogs they process in a day. Certainly my dog could not be the first one to ever misbehave and hours of isolation seemed completely unreasonable. read more

We just relocated to Memphis, so we spent a lot of time finding the perfect place to trust with our dog, Kingston. He came home from a full day of day camp and was exhausted from all his playtime. It was a great benefit to watch him play with the other dogs and staff via the webcam. The report card that they provided at time of pickup was very detailed and upbeat. It was a great touch and an example of how much the staff really cares about our pet. When we toured the facilities they appeared clean and fresh, it is well maintained by the staff. I've been sending my dog here for day camp and boarding occasionally for the past year. The staff is always friendly (in person and on the phone). My dog loves it there, and always comes home happy and tired. The only extra thing to note is that if you want a holiday boarding time, call at least 2 months in advance to make sure they have space. Day camp you can usually just drop off in the morning without calling ahead, but any boarding requires advance notice. I do like that they have the cameras in the dog areas, so I can check in during the day/when I am out of town (it's fun to be able to see your dog). Overall, I've had good experiences with this kennel/camp, and will continue to use them while I live in the area. read more
