Charlie, our golden retriever, absolutely loves the Doghouse. He gets so excited to ride the bus and comes home happy as can be and exhausted from his big day. The staff is so friendly, always greets Charlie with a huge hug, and takes such exceptional care of him whether or not we send him for Daycare or board him overnight. Holy crap. If I could give a million stars, I would. We left our standard poodle at The Doghouse for a week while we went out of town. We followed his adventures on social media (there were at least 3-5 posts just about him each day). When we had a medication issue, someone was available with a reply and solution on the IG message platform within minutes. He had a ton of exercise and socialization while we were away, and when we picked him up, he was clean and smelled great. When I ordered extra treats, the staff posted my dog receiving it on IG so that I could see he received what I paid for. You'd pay $35/day for general no frills boarding. Here $50/day is all the exercise, perks, field trips, treats, attention, and interaction you'd want for your dog. Oh, and he came home with a book bag, paw art, and a handwritten diary of what he did each day. I'd say that's worth the extra $15 per day. We will be back! The Doghouse is the most awesome place ever. P.S. There is always a member of the staff who spends the night at the Doghouse w the pups who stay for sleepovers! Mr. Big woofs you!!! read more

Can we just stop and talk about how PRECIOUS this place is? Keep in mind, this is for our furry friends, not humans. Can you remember being in elementary school and going to recess and art class and rainy day movies? Well this is what your baby will do at The Dog House in Memphis. You don't get report cards but will have a journal entry telling the parents about their kid's day. And they may even slide some art work in! Each pup gets their own bag and ears badges. My dog spent was boarded there twice. First time for 4 days and the second time for 3 days. The 2nd time I had to pull her up the steps. I commented when I went in that she seemed afraid. They assured me she had good care. The review they gave her when I picked her up was that she was growing accustomed to them. Made me wonder what it is she has to grow accustomed to. She is friendly and loving and easy to handle. She has been to 2 other boarding facilities that she was excited to go to. The Doghouse was close and told me about the exciting things for the dogs to do, so I decided to try it. I won't be taking her back there. I paid $40.00 for a bath both times and 12 for nail clipping each time. The last time she was not bathed very well and her nails had not been clipped. I had already paid up-front and did not receive any money back. read more

This is the kind of place that I wish I could stay at all day long! Seeing the photos of my pup running around and enjoying himself makes my heart so happy! The Doghouse is most definitely not your run-of-the-mill doggy daycare, they are SO MUCH MORE. My pup literally has the most fun imaginable, and I know this because of his journal that comes home with him each and every time he goes or he'll come home with an art project or new badge on his bag - literally it's the highlight of my day when I get to go pick him up and i get to see all of the fun and exciting things he did all day! Haley and her crew are stellar and I recommend The Doghouse to everyone with a four-legged companion! read more

This facility is deceiving. After having been there a month, my credit card began being charged. I made a phone call asking for the manager to call me back. After 4 days, I had still not heard back. When I challenged them as to why the manager couldn't find 10 minutes to return the call, I was dropped from the daycare. DO NOT USE THOS FACILITY!!! read more

Our dog loves going to The Doghouse a couple of days a week. He rides the bus to school and really enjoys playing with all the other pups! They take excellent care of him and give us peace of mind that he is in great hands! read more
