Amazing experience with Tamey. I had waited years to get it done and I did my research. I am so glad I went with Tamey because not only was she easy to talk to, her work is pure artistry, and I feel like she gave me the brows I should have been born with. :) They fit my face perfectly and she just really knows what she's doing. I got my eyebrows done at Tamis. My skin was considered to be thinner so I had to have three touch ups, but she fixed it until my eyebrows were perfect.. And pretty natural looking. The first time, most of the ink went away, second time most of the ink stayed, and third time she fixed the shape! I've been drawing on my eyebrows since I was teenager and I have little to none eyebrow hair. I always wanted a Permenant solution so I didn't have to wake up every morning and shape and draw my eyebrows on. I did a lot of research but I was scared to have tattooed eyebrows that wouldn't fit my face or turn blue in the future. I was really scared actually. I found Tami through yelp and saw all the good reviews but I still was skeptical. But I just went for it I figured I've been drawing on eyebrows that were uneven for years what's the worst that could happen. She is the cutest and sweetest lady ! I came prepared with eyebrow shapes that I liked. But I didn't even have to show her. She is very comforting and she explains every bit of the process. She actually made me feel less worried. She measures your face with rulers and shapes your eyebrows to your face and it actually looks like real hairs. It's nothing like those tattooed eyebrows that I was scared of! It doesn't hurt much at all And the first couple days it's fairly dark. But the healing time is quick and unnoticeable for the most part. It really is worth the money not having to worry about your eyebrows being wiped off. And they really do look like real hairs. Tami is great and very personable! You will love her! read more

I came here because of all the great reviews and because my friend had got them done here. I've heard nothing but good things so I gave it a shot. I naturally have worried looking eyebrows and wanted a bit of an arch. She definitely walks you thru everything and explains everything thoroughly. You def will go thru an emotional week or two right after because it looks pretty dark and just...new. Then it'll start peeling and it can look blotchy but once that part is over, you'll love it. If you're curious what its like at all...she does put numbing cream on your brows to help with the pain. It did hurt a little but it was definitely better than a normal tattoo. It sounds and feels like your eyebrows are made of velcro and she's just scraping it with her tool...pretty interesting haha. Thanks to Tami I now have eyebrows. I've been wanting eyebrows since forever, but I was never pleased with any of the techniques I saw or the quality of work. I live in the Bay Area, where we don't have as many artists available. So I went searching in So Cal. After months of research, I finally decided on Tami. Upon reaching out to her, you could feel her warmth over the phone. She's very sweet. I was able to schedule an appointment three weeks out. When you get to her clinic, it's a small room where all the magic happens. The initial time she spends about 30-40 mins explaining the expectations and aftercare for your eyebrows. She let me know that since I have extreme it oily skin, the color may or may not take. All of which I was totally okay with. She then starts drawing the guide for your eyebrows. She measures everything and tries her hardest to give you symmetry while still maintaining a normal look. She then mixes the colors and goes to work. She gives you numbing cream which helps. You still may feel tender. The actual process takes about an hour. She goes over the area about 4 times until she gets the desired look. Tami is a perfectionist and I appreciate it. The eyebrows you leave with will not be your eyebrows, they are a bit thicker and darker. Once it peels, which takes 5-7 days they look more natural and subdued. She offers a touch up within 4 weeks. It is a must have. After two sessions, my eyebrows are beautiful and natural. Great for when I feel like wearing no makeup. If you do wear a full face of makeup you may need to add a bit of powder. I wholeheartedly recommend Tami. She's the best at what she does. read more

As you get older you will see that you will grow less eyebrow hairs, they get thinner, lighter, and if you've tweezed over the years, well, you end up not having much at all. I agree with the previous reviewer about this place. Tami only knows how to work with a specific shape, or if you already have full beautiful brows. She never listened to any of my requests and cut me off when I was trying to explain my brow situation. And yes, my brows faded completely after the first session, and she cut me off again saying to just come back 2nd session and we can go over them then. So 2nd session came, she didn't listen to my requests, and my brows faded darker in certain areas but uneven. Maybe she should at least try to satisfy her customers instead of cutting them off and try to get them out of there before they are completely happy. Another client came in while in the process of finishing up my 2nd session and she said "ok done, I like them." Didn't even ask ME if I liked them lol. Oh by the way I don't know why but she only accepts cash and she requests this by text message before you come in. She charges $80 to $130 more than other talented artists out there, and I did not mind as long as my brows turned out well. I really wanted to like my brows and believe me I did a lot of research on brow artists all over la and oc, on all types of review pages and social media before I made my decision to come to her. It did not turn out how I wanted them, not even the slightest bit. Please before you decide to come to a brow artist, research more on pictures after 2nd session healing. Do not be fooled by the beautiful brows following immediately after. This did nothing for me as I still have patches and need to work harder in evening out my brows. read more

I cannot believe what an amazing job Tami does! She is an artist! I went to Tami's Semi-Permanent Makeup because I wanted the beautiful eyebrows that I see on other women. I always had "eyebrow envy!" Now my eyebrows look amazing - like the brows I saw on other women that I so longed for! I went from seriously having nothing to having beautifully shaped eyebrows. It's such an amazing process and Tami takes her time and is a real perfectionist. She really puts you at ease with her warm personality. I had my eyebrows done on Friday 9/16/2016. Tami was very professional and knowledgable about what she's doing. She is such a sweetheart and down to earth person. Prior to the procedure, Tamil explain everything that was going to happen. The pros and cons. The expectations and what will happen before and post care which I already know but it was a good refresher. All the information and prices that you need to know is on her website. Therefore, it's nice to go back and read it again if you forget about post care. For the price that she charge for the quality of work that she does it's astounding!! I found her on Yelp and I am so happyto have went to her. I've done all my research when it comes to micro blading so I already know what to expect. This is my first time getting my eyebrows done!! So researching was important!! One important thing that people needs to remember is that everyone's body takes in the pigments differently and that everyone heals differently. Yes right after the procedure the eyebrows going to look beautiful but you have to wait for a week after healing and peeling to see the actual results. Some people may have patchiness or more faded but it's not Tamil fault!! It's how your body and skin takes in the pigments!! Tami never rushed with me.
