I thought I just had to live with what little eye brow hairs I had left. Then a relative revealed to me that he had his eye brows done and I was instantly intrigued. I did some research on i and was sold! My relative recommended Tami and I made an appointment right away. Making the appointment was very easy. On the day of the appointment, I showed up, found parking quickly and took the elevator up to her office. Tamis office is immaculately clean and organized. Tami is very kind and professional. She explained everything to me step by step. I never once felt uneasy or nervous. The microblading procedure took about 30-40 minutes. Pain level was about a 3 to me. Tami gave me post procedure instructions, which I followed religiously. Honestly, I was shocked at how dark and bold my eye brows looked right after but trust me, once they heal, you'll love them! Tami is amazing! Her touch is meticulous and gentle yet quick, no stroke is wasted. Her eye for shape is super sharp, and I can definitely say I trust her judgment and process. And she takes the time to remember you in subsequent visits! Tami is great - and her work is fantastic!! I just got my touch-up for upper and lower eyeliner. I initially had it done in late August, and between now and then, I spent a couple weeks in Maui. During the whole time there, I did not have to worry about my makeup at all - I could get up in the morning and out the door with very little time spent on make-up. Would not even set a consult to look at brows up close, rejected based only off a picture which we all know does not do justice to details of strokes or color especially if not professionally taken or with proper lighting. I have never seen any business so prematurely and in text only reject business. She pencils out what she will be doing, shows you and changes anything you do not approve (I didn't need to change anything. She understood exactly what I wanted). After she is done she gives you your aftercare instructions for the next week. I was a little worried afterwords because my eyebrows looked so dark but just as she said, within the week they lightened up. I had just about no peeling at all nor any pain. Update: I had to update my review to give Tami the 5 stars she deserves. Even though the semi permanent tattoo didn't stay on that well for me, I still referred a few of my family members to her since everyone has different skin types. A few weeks have passed since my family has got their tattoo and their eyebrows look great and so natural looking! They are so happy with how their eyebrows turned out...I am so jealous! Unlike me, they hardly had any scabbing and they still haven't had their free second touch up yet! I referred my family also because of Tami's awesome customer service. Tami reached out to me after my not-so-good experience, but unfortunately I was so busy with my then newborn and had a family emergency around that time that I couldn't come back. I was really lucky to find tami thanks to yelp! Special thanks to Michelle who I contacted via yelp for sending me pictures of her eyebrows! (Sorry if that was creepy) . I've been wanting to get my eyebrows tattooed for a while now... And looked into cc permanent and Sherri before finding tami. The waiting list for cc permanent was insane and I booked one for January.... Which I won't be needing any more since I love my brows from Tami. When I stepped into her office Tami was super professional and sweet. I trusted her expertise. I had my brows filled in when I went in so she could see how I normally filled in my brows. Then she wiped mine off and drew in my eyebrows and corrected it until I was satisfied. She does use numbing cream... However, the first layer does hurt a lot and I think it is because the cream hasn't soaked in yet... She did about three layers and the process took about an hour and a half. She definitely takes her time and is OCD about the process which I was so grateful for. The touch up ( which is included in her fee) hurt more than the initial process... But, I expected that because of the scar tissue that may have formed. I have included a pic collage... The first pic (going clockwise) is a picture of me with no makeup and brows..... The second is a pic of the initial appt/ first day. The third pic is a picture of my brows four days after the initial appt. Tami is great. After researching online for a place to get semi permanent eyeliner done, I emailed Tami some questions/concerns, and she promptly emailed me back, addressing all my questions. Tami is experienced and knows what she's doing. When I went in for my eyeliner appointment, she took one look at my eyelids and knew right away that my eyelids point downward, so my eyelids hides the eyeliner more (when my eyes are open). I've known my entire life that my eyelids were odd, and for some reason, I've always had to draw on my eyeliner super thick, but I could never figure out the reason why. And Tami figured it out in 2 seconds. During the procedure, Tami made sure I was kept comfortable by using numbing cream and alternated eyes to let the eyelids get some rest. Overall, I am happy with her work and I really liked how kind and caring Tami is. In addition, I like how reachable she is via email (I really hate communicating to people by phone!), and unlike most establishments located in Koreatown, there are no language barrier issues. Tami is fluent in English, so no worries for folks like me who can't speak korean! There is a small, free, parking lot located in the back. I've done my eyebrow about 10 years ago, my color all fade away only very little color left. I was little scare at first but after I had consulation with Tami, felt very comfortable.
