I used to love love love this place eventhough one could get a little claustrophobic in the salon because it's so small. Let me start from the beginning.....we moved here from another state and I needed a new nail salon. I am extremely picky with my nails so I do alot of research and I found this salon. A nail tech by the name of Lisa worked there. SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! You brought her ANY picture of what you wanted and she did it. I never left unsatisfied. My nails were always perfect. Then....COVID 19 happened. Salons closed for a while. Then slowly places were allowed to open again so I immediately got on the phone to schedule the next possible appointment with Lisa. The lady who answered started to stutter when she heard the name Lisa. This was the Conversation..... Me: hi, are you open for appointments? The lady: yes, what do you want done? Me: Fantastic, I would like to schedule the soonest possible appointment with Lisa. The Lady: ummmmm.....Lisa not here. Me: oh ok, well when will she be back? The lady: ummmm.....I not know...maybe in 1 month? Me: ok well then I will call back later. Thank you Soooo.....I happen to come upon a post on another app where I saw that Lisa ( my Lisa) was working and promoting AT ANOTHER SALON!!!! Abiding by all covid PPE precautions.They also were able to accommodate my walk-in. I got my first dip powder and I am so happy with the results. The spa pedicure was superb! I called Tammy's nails and made an appointment for 2 manicures and 1 pedicure. When we got there, they had us wait for ONE hour. One client came in after us and she was seen before us. I brought this concern to the receptionist and she said "the lady who walked in had an appointment with a specific nail tech, making an appointment with a specific nail tech you'll be seen a lot faster" who says that to a client? Why not make it right and have us see right away since we've been waiting for an hour. I wanted to leave and not give them our business, but my mother-in-law and niece drove 30 minutes to come for this experience together. My husband was watching our 1.5 year old daughter I had to get home. Once we were done, my mother-in-law was not pleased with the service she received, nail tech didn't even give her hand message you receive once you're done when you get a shellac manicure. Went to pay, and they charged my mother-in-law an extra $3 since she had remove gel off her hands!! I've been to several salons and they only charge taking gel off if you don't get a manicure afterwards, she did though why charge her? Owner was there and she didn't even bother herself to apologize for our wait time and the horrible experience. I went to facebook for a recommendation this time and someone named Janeal sent me here. I called ahead of time (earlier in the day) and made an appt. according to yelp Tammy, Anna, Lisa and Tony were the ones to ask for.. but when I called they were all busy. But Tammy said she could do one of our nails. The other appt is scheduled with Emily. According to the photos on yelp they all looked really good so I wasn't worried. Got there and it was PACKED! They took us in a 8-10 mins after our scheduled time slot, not too bad. We told them what we wanted. I wanted mine same length, just evened out bcus the last place I went to messed me up! Also told her I wanted short coffin nails, she said they were too short. :( I got Emily and my daughter got Tammy. Like any other nail shop they spoke amongst themselves in native tongue. But then they stopped. And were really concentrating to ensure they did a good job. Tammy - the owner, did have to answer the phone a few times but didn't het too many interruptions and was able to focus- not like most nail salon owners. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB!!!! Ok, I get that, sometimes things go a bit longer than expected. At 1:30pm she was still not done and all I was told was excuses. "The customer wanted more work done." Though they knew they destroyed my nails the first time, and sent me out bleeding the second time, they didn't offer to charge a lower fee. This review is just for today's visit!! I saw Quan today for a mani pedi, the pedicure was OK, the manicure was not to my liking at all. I asked for gel polish with white tips which I had done previously with Tracy and I loved. I had to keep asking him to fix the white tips because they were not symmetrical and were way to thin then too thick. He hit several nails and didn't correct them until asked and a couple he didn't fix. He picked at the sides of my fingers leaving what looked like hangnails on both hands. He left polish on my fingers and my nails were stuck to my skin. I sat in my truck and picked the polish off my skin and removed the hangnails for about 5 minutes before I even left. I made contact with the owner and was told the individual I had an appointment with was refusing to provide the service because I was not her client. I went in after reading good reviews and seeing promising photos of others acrylic sets. I wanted a simple clean look for grad photos. My nail tech could not create the look I wanted. I said it was okay and just asked for a french tip on oval shaped nails. Once he was done, it was easy to see all the imperfections. The white tips were not clean and there was residue on the nail that should not have been there. Some nails did not have completely filled in tips. There were some spots and patches. He could tell I did not like them. When filing, my cuticles would hurt from the heat. Afterwards, he charged me 60 dollars for a tacky looking set. Will not go here again. read more

My mom took my daughter to get her nails done and the girl that did my daughters nails was rude and did a horrible job. Within 3 days one popped off. I came here after work, I'm not from the area and normally don't come to these types of nail salons, but was super busy and my nail technician was unavailable. I paid $60 for this pedicure. I got the eucalyptus and peppermint pedicure with gel polish. As you can see here in the pics the application is not great and looks like the top coat separated. The color around the cuticles looks messy and uneven, but wait that's not what's really bothering me as much as the skin on the outside of my toe along the cuticle. That lady went to town and removed way more than my cuticle she was digging in to the side of my toenail cutting the skin and now it's left very tender and feels raw. I'm hoping that I do not get some kind of infection due to how how much skin she removed. In the pic you can see that it's tender and a bit red and swollen. Sorry for the toe pics I do not recommend this place at all. I think she was even looking away at one point when she was "trimming" my cuticles. read more

So my sister's friend told her about Tammy's, and we decided to try them out recently. SOOO GLAD that we did. We almost went elsewhere, but thanks to a quick game of heads or tails, we ended up right where we were supposed to be. I am in love with my nails, Tony takes his time, is very attentive and also very patient. That's a plus because I'm indecisive as all heck, especially when it comes to my nails. It's always a hit or miss when I go here. I usually don't make an appointment, because whenever I want to get my nails done, I go randomly and it's always unexpected. Especially since I don't live in Tracy anymore. When I went here about 2-3 weeks ago, I wasn't very happy with how my nails turned out -- but I figured it was the lady who did my nails and not the actual shop itself. So I made sure that the next time I go here, I won't go with that lady. I've had the owner Tammy do my nails before and she's great! My aunt is also a regular here and always schedules with Tony, whom she swears does such a great job -- which is true, because her nails are always on point. You just need to make sure you get your nails done by someone with a reputable name. I went here yesterday, because I was in Tracy and it's near my mom's house. This time Emily helped me. I would have asked for Tammy, but she was already with a customer, and so was Tony. Emily was very friendly and had me sit down right away. She had me choose my color, and since I love neutrals, I chose a grey color. She used the little spinning device to take my gel nail polish off first, and then soaked it in nail polish remover and foil. She did such a good job with my cuticles, all the dry spots were removed and my nails looked polished and soft afterwards. She also has strong hands, so the hand massage she gave me was great! Next time I'm in the area, I'll make sure to ask for her from now on! Customer service is always great here, and the nail techs are very friendly. I used to love this place! When my boyfriend and I visited last week for pedicures, they sat us down right away. They got through my entire pedicure and gel manicure before helping my boyfriend. He was sitting in cold water for almost an hour because they had filled up the foot bath without starting on him. Then, they charged $5 more for his pedicure even though we got the same service - he didn't even get polish so I'm unsure why he would be charged more. The pricing seemed arbitrary and did not match the amounts posted up on the wall. At that point, I didn't want to argue because we had been waiting so long for them to finish. When I got home, I realized that my feet still had a bunch of dead skin and they did not clean up my cuticles at all! I also got a gel manicure and they left polish all over my hands and in my cuticles! It was like the woman helping me did not care at all about how it looked and just flung the polish anywhere.
