I came in wanting a fresh honey-toned look, and Jess absolutely delivered. She was incredibly patient, really took the time to understand what I wanted, and helped me choose a color combination that turned out even better than I imagined. You can tell she truly knows what she's doing and cares about her clients feeling confident and happy. On top of that, she's just so kind and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I walked out feeling like a whole new person. My hair came out pretty, but it wasn't what I asked for. - Cut: The layers weren't done well so it sort of resembles a long mullet at times...kind of a mushroom shape effect. Feels like I have only 2 layers I'm descent with hair so can mask it a bit with curls. - The highlights are fine but they are old school/ going to root all over and not the ballyage effect I asked for. That said, they were blended nicely. - The color is red/orange which bothers me more than the cut. I said multiple times I didnt want red or warm... my whole head, not just the highlights, got toned a fairly strong red hugh. I invested in blue and purple shampoos trying to tone it down. It helped a bit. I did give her feedback but I don't want to go back to get it fixed because I've been back once already and I'm not confident in her ability to fix it at this point. She did offer to try again. I think i gotta wait this one out a few months and then get a trim and/or tone from someone else. Facility was cute and clean, free parking out back. Waited a month to give the review as I wanted to give it time to settle in.

Got there, parked on the side street and walked to the salon. The vibe was chic and relax, super cute decorated for the holiday. Monick was my hairdresser. She looks so much like my sister in law!!! Her hair is gorgeous and her makeup was very beautiful. She let me know that she needed to clean her station since she just finished her previous appointment. No worries with me, I was a bit early. I originally started seeing Jade for my color, and she has been incredible from day one. Before I found her, I used to bleach and color my own hair at home, and it would take me over four hours. Jade gets me to an even better result in less than half the time, and the consistency of sticking with her keeps my color better and better every time. She's so knowledgeable and efficient. After years of being too scared to let anyone cut my hair, I finally trusted Jade enough to give me layers again. I can honestly say it is the best haircut I've ever had. She listened so carefully during our consultation, made sure she understood exactly what I wanted, and checked everything before I left to make sure it was perfect. She gave me beautiful layers while keeping the length I had worked so hard to grow. Beyond being incredibly talented, Jade is just the sweetest person. I checked in a few minutes prior to my appointment just to make sure that I was arriving stress free. Upon arrival they confirmed my treatment and provided me with a little baggie for my jewelry and a quick survey to complete for my specialist. I was given clear instructions as to what to expect and was shown where the restrooms were (which I think is super helpful). Right on the dot, my specialist Tracy greeted me with such a calm and happy demeanor. She led me up the stairs to the treatment area above the salon and was completely mind blown as to how much of a transformation from the downstairs to the upstairs was. Tracy led me right to this cute little sitting area where she prepped the foot soak and then checked to make sure the water was the appropriate temperature and then asked if I would like some water or tea to drink. I opted for the tea while I was resting she had me preview some essential oils for use for the facial massage... and the rest is history... because after that... I was completely in la la land. I woke up with soft hands and arms, soft feet, destressed head and shoulders, hydrated face and a cleaning scalp with hair that you just want to run your fingers through. 10/10 would do this again... maybe even 2 weeks from now. This can be hard to do, especially since I have ethnic hair and about a decade of vivids, henna color, and other experiments in my hair. I came in with blue and purple fun hair. This is my hair after two sessions and she's done a great job delivering on Grey blending. She found an ashy beige that would work with blending in with my silvers. She really understands color. It was lovely to see the stylists have assistants to help them with each client, as if they were the only ones in the store. Plus the complimentary beverages were offered to both me and my niece, which was super awesome! I got the "Brad Pitt" latte, which was tasty! My niece didn't partake, but that was ok. Once she was done, payment was easy and my niece said her hair felt and looked amazing! She actually wanted to know what products were used in her hair (when they did the complimentary shampoo and rinse) because she said it was so soft! I'll definitely be back!
