We have been there many times but not in the last 6 months. 30 minutes to be seated and 35 to get a breakfast. Sad sad sad. Never going again. Cook was slow slow slow. Went over to Spuds restaurant and twice the people 15 minutes to get breakfast. Someone needs to take a lesson on waitressing a d shirt order cooking from the Spuds crew. read more

While staying in Napanee, I stopped in at Tammy Country Kitchen for Sunday breakfast very recently. The place was quite busy with mostly an older local clientele (people knew each other). I sat myself at an open table and the waitress promptly gave me a menu and offered fresh brewed coffee (included with breakfast entree purchase), which was just right. I also got an ice water too. For breakfast, I went with the Country Breakfast ($5.69) - two eggs (I chose scrambled), with choice of meat (I chose ham), served with toast (I chose wheat) and home fries. The food was served in about 10 minutes. The thick round slice of ham was grilled nicely, the scrambled eggs were soft and the home fries were deep fried, hot inside. The brown toast was buttered, jelly on the table. The food was very standard, but tasty and filling. The service was good and friendly here and I was offered refills and top offs on the coffee several times as the waitress was walking around the dining room with a pot of coffee. This is one of our go to places in town. The staff are always friendly and don't keep you waiting. The food is basic but very good value and always tastes fine. My favourite breakfast is the Sportsman with three eggs, sausage, home fries, four toasts, bottomless coffee and juice. I've also had the Club sandwich for lunch. Very good. The beefalo hamburger with cheese and bacon is great. Try Tammy's when you want a good breakfast in town. read more

Was there on Sunday after a visit at the "Sandbanks Provincial Park". I've ordered a "Bacon Cheese Burger with Fries and a small Cesar Salad" The Service was very friendly and there were 4 other orders before me. Waiting time, about 15 Minutes was ok! What I got, wasn't!! The Cesar Salad was topped with SOYA BACON! The Burger Bun was untoasted and a bit dry. The Patti (definitely not fresh, it was a frozen one) had no taste and was "watery". It looked like they cooked it in a pan! The fries were good, but I think not fresh cut! My dessert was a Raspberry Tart. Crust was good, but the filling was awe-full! NOT SELF MADE!!!! Nothing really home made (A country kitchen should be). One of my bad experiences!! read more

We stay in Napanee whenever we are in the area (Fastpitch at Queens) and always stop in at Tammy's as it's right across the street from the Fox Motor Inn and is always a good place for breakfast. This time was the exception though. Arrived around 8:00am on a a Sunday. Greeted at the door by an angry pit bull asking "how many?" Advised her there were 3 of us and she barked at us that they were full. The back room was completely empty so we asked about it and were told that it was reserved. There was another empty table in the main room and when we inquired about it got the same response. There was a lovely couple enjoying the last of their meal that overheard the conversation and graciously offered up their table. Another waitress quickly moved in, cleared the table and showed us to it. The sad part is that the reservation wasn't until 9:00. We were in and out before 8:30. She must have turned away at least 20 people while we were there. Not sure how well the business is doing but turning away regulars is never good for business. The meal was hot, fresh and tasty as usual and our waitress was perfect. Too bad the other one left a bad taste in our mouths. Perhaps a change in career would be best for her and Tammy's earnings. read more
