Great burgers with tons of options to choose from and love that they have gluten free buns/lettuce wraps. The onion rings and fries were super good and the loaded fries were good but not my favorite I've had. Would love to have tried the sweet potato tots. I felt it had the perfect amount of toppings and the perfect level of onion and the flavors omg. The loaded fries were exactly how I picture loaded fries to be. Huge portion and every inch covered with the fixings. I don't prefer a thin fry but with all those toppings hells yes. - Truffle Burger with sweet potato tots & marshmallow sauce. WOW the owner recommended the truffle burger (daily special) and I knew I was gonna love. The amount of truffle & mushrooms was perfection. The tots with the sauce were INCREDIBLE. I've heard about this marshmallow sauce with the sweet potato fries before but so glad I went for the tots to switch it up - Signature Burger with onion rings & strawberry chipotle sauce. This burger was a classic cheeseburger but the special sauce took it up a notch for sure (sauce girl if u can't tell). The onion rings were fried immaculately and actually stayed together when you bit into them. The strawberry chipotle sauce was chefs kiss like how did they even think of that. - Sriacha Bourbon boneless wings with ranch. One of my FAVS. Recommended by the owner because I couldn't choose a wing sauce (they all sounded FIRE and after having these I'm sure they are). I don't often give 5 star ratings, but Tampa Burger earned it! The owner was running the place and was friendly and informative. He was patient with us while we took our time ordering. We both created our own burgers and got fries. I went pretty simple with a regular double burger and added jalapeños. The burger was juicy, delicious and perfectly cooked. The bun was soft and complimented the burger nicely. The fries were probably the best I've had in years! Perfectly crispy and not overly seasoned. Wife enjoyed her burger on GF bun. It was a Monday so we did $1 milkshake Monday! I had an Oreo shake and it was blended expertly and flavor was great! The strawberry shake was really well made too. Stopped by here while waiting for our candles to set in hyde park. This is, hands-down, my favorite place to get a burger in Tampa Bay. I've been coming here since day one, when it used to be Shula Burger. The burgers are so delicious and the staff is always incredibly friendly. I always enjoy meeting friends here, and they are always impressed with the food and service. My husband and I went here based on the reviews. After eating there, it makes me wonder if any of those folks ever had a proper burger, or are just used to fast food. First, the burger is very thin, so even though I ordered medium-rare, it was almost well done. The burger was pretty tasteless. The pickles were the cheap, salty fast food ones that were very off-putting. The bun was dripping in something so greasy (it did not taste like butter) I could not even stand to hold it, and had a very odd taste. The fries were very salty and barely had any potato inside. First, the attentiveness of the business owner was top notch (Z - thank you, you rock!!). I had an Executive Leadership Team Meeting w/ executives coming from all over (California, New York, Chicago, Charleston and Maryland) and on the last day, we had to order in and I wanted to give them something local and they requested somewhere that has "good burgers." Well Tampa Burger more than delivered! First, I only learned about them by searching online for good local Tampa burger joints. I found Tampa Burger and with their website pictures alone I was interested in trying. So I literally placed an order a little late that morning and they delivered on time one of the best burgers and hot dogs setups and sides hands down. In fact, I was instructed to make sure we order here every day for the next time we have our meetings in Tampa. If you have not given them a try - you should. These are the local establishments we need to support and keep. We ordered the make your own and some of their signature burgers along with their sides. EVERYTHING was made fresh and delivered perfectly. They even organized each order by bag and I was able to hand over each order seamlessly to the correct person. Next time we will also order the milkshakes. But honestly, after ordering from other places earlier in the week and getting under par food quality, it was nice to represent to these out of towners a Tampa gem. Awesome burgers!!!
