Sitting and waiting hours and hours with high fever baby.
    Lily L.

I wish I have options to give 0 star, I just moved to the area and I brought my 13 month old baby within 104fever, I have to wait hours and hours in the waiting area, top of it they put me in the room make me wait long hours without giving any explanation, or what's going on with my baby girl. As a single mom with first baby who have no experience, and her high fever makes me worry more. If you have little ones please don't bring here, they probably will watch your kids die in your arms. I never seen this kind irresponsible doctors.

This is a beautiful addition to the TGH hospitals. It's located right next to Top Golf and Indoor Skydiving center located in Brandon, Florida. The building is absolutely beautiful. It honestly feels like walking into a fancy hotel. Upon entrance to the left there is a small cafe with tables and chairs. The cafe is closed but it's a nice area to sit in silence. To the right there is always the friendliest older gentleman greeting you with a cheerful hello, a sticker for the kids, and passionate enthusiasm. Directly in front are elevators and a lab/radiology center to the left of the elevators. There is also an electronic directory of different floors and office locations on the left between the cafe and lab. I have been here for a job interview and for my husbands doctors appointments and physical therapy. It is also an emergency room hospital. I have not had to go to the ER but the hospital it's self is beautiful. I love how close it is and given TGH reputation on the Tampa Bay Area I love that it's so close. Also God forbid you get hit in the head by a flying gold ball or fall while indoor sky diving, medical attention isn't far away.

Located next to Top Golf, this is a gorgeous new facility Tampa General opened in Spring 2017. There are 4 floors, including a 24/7 ER entrance on the first floor. Though I personally have not been to this ER, I've heard multiple compliments from several people who have been to their share of ER's. This facility also has a lab area, Radiology, USF services, a Tampa General Medical Group primary care clinic, and surgical services. Upon entering, you're greeted by someone who can help direct you appropriately in case it's your first time! Everyone is very helpful. If you need a breather, there's a beautiful balcony on the 3rd floor where you can enjoy a nice view of the city, Top Golf, and the Selmon expressway. I recommend checking this facility out for your medical needs- especially over Brandon Hospital any day!

I have a mixed review for this beautiful location that is 10 miles closer than the big TGH (a convenience). When you arrive it's a little disorienting in the lobby with no clear information desk or person A security guard passing by helped direct me my first visit (no smiling greeters, very sterile). Bathrooms at furthest point from everything else (I like that it has an auto-open for wheelchair users. Disappointing the cafe has no food-saw the big sign, my long appointment was over the lunch hour, and I was stuck without food. (No quick stops real close.) Thankfully they have some great snack items that saved me. I was there for the infusion lab which seemed well-staffed and organized. The registrar wants you to use an auto-kiosk for check in which gave me different info each of the 3 days that sent me to the registrar anyway. No time or manpower saver there for that technology. The waits weren't long. The people who hook you up were very nice & caring, even brought you snack options and water (and heated blankets while you "drip". The large chair has a heated seat, a vibrator and there's a TV above you so it makes what you're going through easier. They need a vein finder--as I got "stuck" 3 times to draw blood. It is a teaching hospital and the person working one day completely messed up a medicine I was taking so it's good to stay on the ball yourself. Because the people working there are kind and sincere, clean & efficient, I'm giving the 4th star. However I think they are a little rough around the edges in the big picture, marketing & communicaton. Also there are not enough parking spaces for disabled or they are not policed well enough to go to people who need them.

My three year old after his first IV ever.

There's no one checking in on you, they bring you into a room, tell you to wait and you're in there..for a while. While you hear them outside just talking about their weekends and other nonsense. 3) The Doctors we've seen aren't geniune or friendly. They're very straight forward and want to see you repeatedly to eat up your insurance. Even when there's no need, they recommend PT at their partner office instead of working through self care. 4) The front staff is clueless about insurance benefits and I've seen them use a 'cheat sheet' for reference - they go back and forth asking others questions instead of knowing how to process payment 5) Surgery is always encouraged here. I've been for a cyst on my food where surgery was my 'only option' for relief, when I ended up having it go away on its own eventually and with self care. My husband had 1 surgery, no proper care or follow up afterwards, and ended up needing a second surgery to get him to running again. It took almost 2 years total. I am definitely going to another to orthopedic doc going forward. I'm currently marathon training and will need care ongoing - but want to find a trustworthy doctor. I'd would rather drive farther to see a better doctor.

This place was regrettably recommended to us by an acquaintance that I, for one, will NEVER get…read morerecommendations from again. I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE. Yes, I'm yelling but I need to explain why. Let me start by giving the pros because that's probably fair. The location is located in Riverview, which was convenient. The staff INSIDE the building were very kind. The gentleman that I did the MRI's with was funny, personable and put me at ease. The office itself is slightly small but there weren't many people there any of the times I went. (I understand why - NOW.) They were also able to get me multiple appointments very quickly. Now, here's my story, along with the cons and how they can and unfortunately will destroy someone's life one day if these practices are not fixed. I have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis since 2016. I have approximately 20 lesions in my brain so annually, I am required to get MRI's on my brain, c-spine, thoracic spine and my lumbar spine. With and without contrast for all of them. Any other office that I've ever been to for the scans, to include hospitals, Florida Medical Clinic, Tower Radiology, etc, have taken approximately 4 hours for all the MRI's, spread over multiple days. My entire spine has been clear of lesions, and I have not had any new or active lesions in my brain for years. I have a high sensitivity to MS drugs, so I am on the least dangerous one out there since it basically doesn't have any side effects. If I were to have new lesions, I would be subjected to trying 1 of 3 different MS drugs that would suppress my immune system and potentially cause irreversible damage, not limited to death. Now, the cons. First, when you call them at any time, you get a call center and most of the time, the representatives don't understand what you're asking, what you need or even who you are. One representative thought that I was a physician from my insurance company calling for a peer-to-peer conversation to approve the MRI's. Another time the person thought that I was calling to cancel my MRI that was the same day. I understand that it's cheaper to hire call center reps from other countries, however, with regards to medical services, patients don't want to have to repeat what they need over and over and argue with reps to get the information correct. Secondly, during my first MRI there, which was for my entire spine, I was in the machine for close to 2 hours. When I got out, I went to the dressing room to get dressed and collect my things. As I'm about to leave, the gentleman tells me that he must retake the thoracic spine MRI because "the machine didn't get it," and "that happens sometimes." I was a nervous wreck to begin with being in the machine for that long but then I had to do it again for part of the images. I was annoyed, not at him, but at the facility for having a machine that "sometimes acts up" and doesn't take the images. Then, when I went back the following week for my brain MRI that typically takes at least an hour any other time I've had it done, I was done in less than 30 mins. Now, I'm sure people would love that, however I was immediately concerned because I did not feel that the images would show what they needed. Apparently, it wasn't the images that I needed to be concerned with. It was the radiologist that read the MRI's. When my doctor received the reports, the brain MRI simply stated, "scattered lesions in the brain." We rely on the radiologists to actually count how many lesions there are to see if I've had any new ones pop up over the past year. THEN came the c-spine report. The radiologist listed that I had a lesion on my c-spine. That meant that I would now have to decide which medicine I wanted to switch to. Each one with varying degrees of potential negative impacts to my health and to my life. My doctor sent me home and stated that she would have her radiologist review the discs to get a more accurate idea of what we are dealing with. I went home and researched and had multiple discussions with family about the medications. We came up with an idea of what we wanted to try but I was heartbroken because my MS was considered unstable again and who knows what type of damage had occurred to my body this time and what rollercoaster I was about to be on with a medication change. A few days later my doctor called me and stated that nothing had changed in my brain and that I in fact did not have any new lesions on my spine. My spine was clear of any lesions. I was so thankful yet so furious that this whole time I was thinking that I was dealing with a new lesion, and my life was going to change drastically because of an inept radiologist. This whole experience screamed "bad news" from the very beginning. I should have listened to my intuition. Beware to anyone that still chooses to use this location for MRI imaging. I truly hope that my experience was a "one off," but I fear that it wasn't. If you choose to still get your images here
