The store looks small from outside but it's actually quite large with all you can expect from a well stocked grocer; spices, canned goods, noodles, vegetables, fruits, snacks and meat substitutes (they also sell fish and meat products). Store staff is always friendly and helpful. They also have a small reserved parking area a couple of doors down if all the spots on the street are taken.

I finally found the frozen uncooked pork sausage to make meatballs for my recipe. I bought a bag of shallots and some were past their prime. This day that I was shopping, they had live crabs. They had fresh produce, freezers of meat, chicken, and seafood, lots of dry noodles, and other products at good prices. I will be back!

It is smaller in comparison to Tan A but seems to carry more fruits. During Vietnamese new year, they do sell Vietnamese sticky rice also known as banh tet. It gets sold out fairly quickly however do you must come at least a week early to buy it. I do not think they have a private parking lot. You have to park on the street. The market sells snacks, seasonings, jarred sauces, and drinks that come from Vietnam or Thailand mostly. The top of the grocery store appears to be a residence. During Vietnamese new year, they sell decorative plants that you can use for your altar or as gifts. I came here looking for Thai basil and did not find it. A Chau means Asian in Vietnamese. The woman who worked here was very friendly and giggled at me because she probably thought I was super silly looking for banh tet on actual New Year's Day. In California, it would have been easy to buy day of. But in Syracuse, that type of item needs to be purchased or custom requested in advance!

Our daughter loved browsing around, sampling chocolate milk and meat snacks. Our favorite vendors were the homemade pasta guy who we remembered from years ago, a spot that has a bunch of homemade pickles, and lavender flavored honey from a third spot. We bought fresh corn on our way out, definitely noticed a lot of varying price differences for the same items but I guess that's part of the experience! Our daughter had a donut and a hotdog from a food truck during our visit. Wanted a slice of pizza, but the food truck here only sells whole pizzas? what's up with that? I thought food trucks were for take away foods, not foods you carry home to share with your people. Odd. Back to the regional market for me.
