They're now in Kendall square on Wednesdays and a much needed addition to the very sad lunch scene. Delicious food and friendly service. My food was ready quickly. The portion size for the price is good for a non-chain, non-fast-food place. The naan was delicious and buttery and tasted fresh. The veggie curry was surprising in a good way, good level of spice. The only critique is that the veggies tasted like frozen veggies. Overall, tasty food, good portions. I would definitely eat here again.

    Great family food truck

Overpriced. Paid $20 for rice and chicken curry. Piratha bread was $2.75. The piratha bread was stale and soggy. Taste was not all that.

The food here is quite good. I tried something new recently. It was meat on a wrap thing. Very good.

Good Indian fare. We switch between this and Mayuri Acton, both are good. The kathi rolls are good.

I have eaten a lot of Indian food, but to match this I'd have to go back to a fine restaurant near Marble Arch in London.

I have been addicted to the Kathi rolls, but have loved pretty much everything that I've ordered there.

Cousins Maine Lobster is a chain of food trucks with multiple sit down restaurants across the US,…read moreand this particular truck travels around East and Central Massachusetts. We spotted it at a local stop and decided to grab a quick seafood meal without committing to a full sit down restaurant. The menu is centered around lobster in just about every form imaginable, from rolls and bisque to tacos and grilled cheese, making it a convenient option when the truck happens to be nearby. We ordered the lobster roll and clam chowder. The lobster roll was good overall, though it came out a little smaller than expected given the price. The lobster itself leaned more toward claw meat rather than the larger tail pieces some people associate with a traditional New England lobster roll. The flavor was still solid, with fresh tasting lobster throughout, but the roll came with less butter than we anticipated, resulting in a lighter and less rich presentation than we were hoping for. The clam chowder ended up being the stronger of the two items. It was creamy without being overly heavy, with a good balance of clams and potatoes, and worked especially well alongside the lobster roll. Together they made for a satisfying meal that delivered the classic seafood combination most people are looking for from a lobster focused stop. The experience here is ultimately about convenience and consistency. When the truck is nearby, it offers an easy way to grab a lobster roll and chowder without making a trip to the coast. The prices reflect the reality of lobster, but for a quick seafood fix on the go, it gets the job done.

8/10 Maine lobster roll was good. Good flavor, toasted bun. Decent amount of meat…read more 7/10 The lobster quesadillas, good in flavor! Not too soggy, proper cheese to lobster ratio. Properly selected cheese complimented the flavor of the lobster. 2/10 Shrimp tacos were a joke, the shrimp was minuscule and tasted like they had been fried then sitting for days. I thought I was being pranked. I couldn't believe it. I wanted my money back for them. But didn't even bother. If they fix the shrimp the potential is there, not sure it's shrimp? Never seen or had shrimp like this before.

Located next to Domino's Pizza inside Desi American Convenience & Deli, the Desi American Kitchen…read morefood counter serves up freshly prepared vegetarian and non-vegetarian South Indian fare including curries, dosas, noodle & rice dishes, biryanis, chaats, main dishes, appetizers, puffs, desserts, lassis, and weekend specials. After seeing a Facebook post from this eatery, I stopped by Desi American Kitchen in Acton over the weekend for takeout. I checked out online menus through the business on Facebook and on DoorDash before heading over here. The business online menu had the regular menu and the weekend specials listed, but online fees would be charged. The DoorDash menu prices were slightly higher and offered a good discount with $15 minimum purchase, but no weekend specials, just regular menu. I ordered two vegetarian weekend specials in person, paying cash. I ordered the Vegetable Hakka Noodles ($10.99 plus tax) and the Mix Vegetable Moilee ($12.99 plus tax), which was prepared to order and ready in 12 minutes. I actually enjoyed some of the food in the store since there are a few tables in chairs in front of the counter. The noodle dish had soft noodles tossed with carrots, onions, scallions, cabbage, green peppers, and spices. The simmered moilee dish had a mix of peas, carrots, potatoes, peppers, curry, spices, coconut milk. The included side of basmati rice was cooked right and not sticky. Both vegetarian dishes had good flavors, mild spicy taste. I will have to come back to try their dosas and biryani next time.

I loved the taste of every dish we got! We ordered masala dosa, eggplant curry (came with rice),…read morelamb biryani, some kind of fried sweet corn appetizer, and the dal barfi. Default spice level is medium, and was too spicy for my partner, but perfect for me. If you have a low-medium, spice tolerance, you may want to ask for milder. The dosa was flavorful and strong enough to use to eat without it falling apart, which I've sometime experienced elsewhere. The dosa was a little oily, but well worth it in my opinion. I would absolutely get everything I tried again except the corn, which was tasty, but not a new favorite. I love trying new things, so I'd say this was well worth the try, and I look forward to tasting something else new from their extensive menu. Oh! And the chutneys were carefully flavored and really complemented the food. The restaurant is inside a store as well, so if you are low on ingredients for Indian cooking (e.g. dal, ginger paste, spices), you may be able to find what you need. The store shelves were under stocked when I was in, but I was excited about what they had to offer.
