The food and service was excellent! Unfortunately, they charged us for rice that we never received and refused to give a refund when I called to inform them of the mistake. We had ordered one side of rice that was never delivered to our table, but when I checked the receipt at home, realized they charged us for two sides of rice. I called to ask if they could refund me, and the employee I spoke to was very defensive in his tone and said he would look over the footage and call me back if they made a mistake. I hadn't been here in years. Our friends suggested this place for after church. We ordered 4 entrees off the menu and a side of rice and shared amongst the 4 of us. The girls had Mango Lassi's as well and we had plenty leftover for home. The staff was also very nice and attentive as well. My daughter and I visited Tandoori Bites last weekend. I'd been here several times over the years, but it'd been a while, and I wanted her to try it since she was requesting Indian food for her birthday party. I was contemplating using Tandoori Bites for her party since they had their catering menu and prices conveniently available on their website. We were greeted promptly and told we could sit anywhere. We selected a booth and started scanning the menu. We were given waters and upon checkin I noticed the offer for a free mango lassi or samosa. She and I both wanted a mango lassi, so we went with that option. To our surprise, our server was also kind to offer us a complimentary plate of vegetable pakora with two different chutneys as well! We ordered the butter chicken, the dal makhani, tandoori chicken and garlic naan. The butter chicken literally melts in your mouth. The tandoori chicken was served on a sizzling skillet and was probably the best tandoori chicken I've ever had. The dal was good, but I probably would order it with more spice next time. Everything was delicious! The place is smaller in size, but it's been updated over the years. It's cool being able to see them making the food in the kitchen. There's a couple televisions and they were showing football games the couple times I've been there. Fast forward to this weekend. I called their catering number and ordered rice, garlic naan, butter chicken and tandoori chicken for my daughter's birthday party. The price was reasonable, the process was simple, and they accepted cash or card upon pickup of the food. It was ready on time and everyone loved the food! Walked in and to my surprise they remodeled! And they have an All you can eat special they say that they serve every day for $15.99. Best desi food in Rancho, hands down! My family loves this spot and we've been trying to find a go to restaurant. The restaurant is smaller but there is plenty of room to sit. We've also gotten it to go and I like other places, they don't skimp on the to go portions. Our go to order is chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani, garlic naan and some sort of vegetable side. The spice level matters lol don't try to be brave if you're not sure if you can handle it. The customer service here is absolutely amazing. They are so friendly and helpful. I only wish they served chai at dinner time so I could have a cup after my meal. Definitely not a deal breaker for me though. I'll continue going! read more

We ate here for the first time last night. We had the tiki masala and the butter chicken. We both definitely loved the way the chicken was cooked in the butter chicken, but I can't get over the tiki masala sauce. It was so velvety. We ate it with rice and garlic naan. I should have ordered a side veggie - there were only a few green peppers included. We asked for mild spice and it was perfect. His accent was so heavy, I could not under 99% of the sentence or was it even in English. The place was bumping with Bollywood style music. Anyhow. I digress. The sauce was served in a timely manner, hot as how it should be. The sauce is creamy and very scrumptious with either rice or nann. The taste of Tikka masala and Malak were exquisite. I got a recommendation from a friend and now it's my top go to places in Rancho from now on! The location is pretty hidden, located right next to the 99 cent store. My favorite was the kung pao calamari, not too sweet with a good amount of onions and green peppers. The tikka masala had a good amount of sauce but the portion was a bit small. We ordered the tandoori chicken and the two essentials - chicken tikka masala and the chicken biryani. We asked for spicy for all three and they made it just right. Been coming here for years and have never had a problem. Always great service and food. Tonight we stopped in to order take-out...and we requested all of the food be non-spicy (like we have for years with no issues). We get home to eat and everything is beyond spicy, as if they made it extra spicy on purpose. (I like spicy and i was barely able to eat it). So the person this food was for (my elderly mother), was not able to eat at all. They also did not include the raita that is supposed to come with one of the items we ordered, even though we asked before we left if it was on the bag. The guy assured us it was in there. 3 guys just standing around, one actually cooking. No gloves in the kitchen and the other guy just hanging out in the kitchen was eating and drinking over the food. So all in all, this place is a a no go. read more
