Service was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant itself was clean with plenty of seating and a spacious dine-in area, which made it comfortable to enjoy the meal. Pricing is right where it should be--not too expensive. The food was pretty good and flavorful overall. We ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala and Chicken Tikka Masala. Flavor-wise, both were good, but the paneer dish could've used more cheese, and the chicken tikka masala was noticeably spicier than expected for a "medium" compared to other Indian restaurants. This restaurant is very quiet, has ample seating. There were only a few people dining in however each table appeared to be thoroughly enjoying their food. Service was prompt, our waiter provided recommendations, and drinks stayed filled. The food was delicious. Loved our dinner here. The quality of service and cuisine was outstanding. We got lamb byriani, chicken tikka masala, a side of rice, and an order of chili garlic naan. We don't have food like this where I live but I wish we did. I hope I didn't offend them with how much food was leftover to take home-- I had a two hour drive to get through and needed to get going, and I wanted to have leftovers for my next meal. My sister was visiting and the other restaurant had an hour wait so I decided to order from here. I am a Shahrukh Khan fan so I mainly came in because of the name of the restaurant (full transparency here haha) but I also did hear good things. We ordered the palak paneer and shahi paneer. It actually turned out to be really yummy and flavorful. I love going to any Indian restaurant with wholesome Punjabi flavors. This was a winner ! Always love this place! Service is top-notch. Our server asked our desired spice level and we said spicy and he kind of reacted in a way that made us question our decision, so we bumped back down to medium. He offered to bring the spice separately so we could manage it ourselves. We ended up dumping it into the lamb vindaloo and it was incredible. They make sure you get the service you wanted without annoying you. The price point slightly higher by a dollar or two, but reasonable for the overall what you are getting. The food itself isn't bad, I felt I had better. I would rate the taste in the 70 percentile. The butter chicken sauce was exquisite. A little heavy on the tomato side. The chicken is sliced in 1/8" strips approximately. The meat is somewhat tender; fresh foe sure. The portion is good, but i wish I had more sauce to go with the nann, roti, or rice. Overall. Haven't been here for a little while. It used to be very good, but quality has gone down a lot. We ordered butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, tandoori, garlic and regular naan. Butter chicken seem to be very watered down. $15-$16 per small bowl of curry and still need to pay $3 for rice. I liked Tikka Masala better than the butter chicken. The naans were good though. It's one piece cut into 4 smaller pieces. Tandoori was flavorless and dry. It was terrible Tasted like straight out of the grocery store added red coloring with no seasonings added. read more

My girlfriend had a bad experience with Indian food and never wanted to try it again, she was not impressed and was just disappointed. After convincing her to try this place out (it would have been both of our first time at Koyla) she was blown away and she is now obsessed with Indian food.
