I'd been wanting to try this place for a while, and when work was busy, I decided to order from here for delivery. The food arrived warm and the portion sizes are great! I went with the Koobideh Combo which is a skewer of chicken and beef with rice and chargrilled veggies. It also came with a salad and I ordered some garlic paste, which I believe is their version of toom, on the side. Packaging was immaculate and they even included some packets of sumac, utensils and napkins. I didn't opt to pay extra for them to make the plate spicy, but I kind of wish I had. The food was good, but it was a tad bit bland for my liking. I also didn't care for the garlic paste as it was missing that typical "zing" I'm used to. I noticed myself refraining from using it, and usually, I could eat the stuff plain. I'd definitely be willing to come back and try more of the menu, and perhaps try dining in as well. read more

This new place is AMAZING!! We came in here to celebrate my friends daughter being home from her first semester at college and we all got different kabob combos which were all delicious. I've been meaning to try Habibi Kabob for a while now and finally made it in on Friday. I wasn't sure in the portion sizes so decided to go with the To Go Special which comes with a koobideh, basmati rice, tomato, Anaheim pepper and a choice of soup of salad. I called ahead to place my order. They are located in the space where Citrus Kitchen used to be, next to the hair salon. The food was ready when I arrived and I received excellent customer service. I also had a 20% off coupon that I received in the mail I was able to use. With the coupon my total came out to ~$27. The food was really good, lots of flavor and meat was juicy. The only thing was that we had so much rice left over and we were both so full. Two days later (Sunday), my husband was saying he wanted to eat it again. Yes, he enjoyed it that much! This time I ordered the Koobideh Combo with one beef and one chicken with an extra side salad and hummus. Now this portion size for the both of us was perfect! I loved the garlic paste and hummus too. This will be one of the regular restaurants we eat at now for sure. Next time we will probably dine in. read more

So thrilled to have this new restaurant in the area! My colleagues and I came in to check it out and we were greeted by the very friendly owner right away. He explained that the business has been open for six months and that they are very excited to show the community their wonderful recipes and service. We each ordered chicken kebab with a side of baba ghanoush, and it was absolutely delicious. The rice, the chicken, and the Ganoush were all outstanding. The layout is very simple and seems very efficient and the best part is its proximity to work. Perhaps one recommendation would be to have some sort of self-serve water with some cups, but the owner was very generous and gave us a bottle of water for free. The woman who took our order was very friendly and told us our total and when our order would be ready. My husband went to go pick it up and it was ready within the given timeframe. I don't know if this will replace my original review but it's good to have both for contrast. I first came here 5 months ago when they just opened. Before COVID this spot was a Mediterranean flat bread restaurant. I was curious if it was still here after so many years. To my surprise it was going to be a new Persian restaurant. I love Mediterranean food. I would eat it all day if I could afford it. I can also make it myself at home either on a grill or stove top. In this region most of the kinds of kabobs are Kafta style with is more Arabic or Lebanese style kabobs. Those are ok to good, but I grew up on Armenian or Persian or Iranian style kabobs that go by the name of Koobideh or Lule kabobs. I grew up in the LA and Glendale area where Massis was the go to. I initially gave this place a 4/5 only because that night must have been an off night or early growing pains. But I had high hopes that it would only get better. I've been here maybe 4 or 5 times since. I teach at Chaffey and so it's my light at the end of the tunnel of a 4 hour class. I let them out a bit early every couple of weeks so I can get a plate before they close. :-) Without a doubt this is the best kabob restaurant within 30 miles of here. Believe me, I've tried them all in the region. The closest is Panini Grill but they don't have garlic sauce. I'm going to try to convince them to give a Chaffey College discount for staff and students. I think a small discount or a special for them if they show their ID would keep this place buzzing all day. It's the best food around the campus area. The other places are just fast food or mediocre. This place is close to 5/5 and that is 100% accurate in my view. I had a nice chat with the owner and the family. Great family business. I wish them great success!
