You know those food ideas that sound a little unexpected at first... and then end up being absolutely brilliant? That's exactly what happened when we tried Indian pizza here. Indian flavors on pizza somehow create the perfect culinary Venn diagram. The spices are vibrant without overpowering, the toppings are generous, and the crust holds everything together beautifully. Every bite had that great balance of savory, aromatic, and just a little bit indulgent. I'm not usually someone who demolishes an entire pizza, but on this visit we both looked up at the end and realized... it was gone. Completely gone. No regrets. And the mango drink? Fantastic. Smooth, refreshing, and perfectly sweet--the ideal pairing with the spices from the pizza. It's one of those drinks that makes you slow down for a second and just appreciate how good it tastes. We're already planning our return. Word is Wednesdays get pretty packed, so consider yourself warned. Highly recommend. I like when food joints offer up singular experiences. Toby's often saying that sometimes I like new/original more than actually delicious. I don't know--sometimes I think delicious or tasty is a lower bar to achieve than new and original. For instance, I don't reckon I've ever had lamb kebab on a pizza before and yet Kohinoor Bites had it on offer right there on their menu for me. That's worth something. And then after biting into it I knew I had made the right choice. Yes, it was very tasty and, yes, every bite was super filling like all pizza should be. But the pie was just highly evocative because it simply wasn't anything I had ever tasted before. It was like biting into the horizon and craving more. My only wish I had more of that wonderful lamb kebab in each slice but I guess that would've driven up the price. The service was great. Everything moved along quickly and they surprisingly checked on the table despite it being a more fast casual place without server service. The ambience was great. There were a lot of private booths in all patron counts of 2, 4, and 6. Lots of televisions adorned the walls and everything was decorated very comfortably. It was very inviting inside. I should be back here soon and hopefully next go around a tad bit more of that stellar lamb meat that elevates this place will find its way to my pie. I can only pray for that. read more
