The people there are very nice. The food was quite good. The star was the tandoori chicken- probably the best I've ever had. We also got saag paneer, butter chicken, and goat curry. The chicken was a bit dry in the butter chicken. All in all, it was very solid. read more

Very nice service. We went lady night and ordered takeout. I ordered 2 orders of Samosas. I love Samosas, and these were a little different at first but after a couple bites with green chutney I really enjoyed them. They were very good. We ordered the garlic naan which was delicious and very garlicky! We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and some rice, and it was fabulous! So delicious!!!! I love curry food and I have tried many Indian buffet. Saw that this place recently opened and had a buffet on the weekend so I went to go try it and was quite impressed. Very clean place and service was good. It can be a challenge with language barrier when trying to make out what they're saying sometimes so you'll have to have them repeat themselves. Got seated right away and helped ourselves to the buffet area. I was so happy they have samosa as I always look forward to buffets with samosa. Food was fresh and had lots of flavor. Goat curry was great. Only downfall I would say is that I was hoping they had butter chicken and/or chicken tikka masala as one of the other dishes as many other Indian restaurants have it on their buffet entrees. My oldest and I stopped in to try the weekend buffet for $17.99 . This inside is nice and buffet area was clean. Everyone was so nice and asked if we had any questions about the dishes. The buffet included a hot tea, plain naan , and some ice cream as well. There was a great selection of, four meat options and 3 vegetarian options. They had samosas, rice, salad and gulab jamun. The naan was nice and thin but not too thin. The butter chicken was delicious but my favorite was this chili chicken ! My oldest enjoyed everything and definitely wants to go back. I wish next time they have an aloo gobi which is my favorite. The only complaint I think I had was the samosas needed a little bit of spice(spicy) and the tandoori chicken was a bit dry and over cooked but maybe it was the piece I picked. read more

We went here for our Sons 18th birthday today, this place is amazing! The taste of the food was so authentic, fresh, and tasty!! I've eaten and other places with similar cuisine and this place beats them all, Niveen was our server and his customer service was really good! We came here on a rainy Monday afternoon. It was super cold and windy outside but inside it was warm and bright. The menu has quite a lot of different selections, with a ton of vegetarian options. We had the Aloo Gohbi, paneer tikka masala, samosa, and garlic naan. The food was fast and delicious. The samosas perfectly crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. The non-was fresh out of the oven and soft yet crispy. Don't get me started on the sauce for the tikka masala. I wanted to lick the plate. As for the Aloo Gohbi, my kid asked me why I don't make this for Thanksgiving instead of "those plain" mashed potatoes. All in all 5/5 stars. I stopped by Golden Punjab for a late lunch. There weren't too many people there, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but foodwise, it was very, very good, probably the best Indian food in Fresno (I usually get Curry House in Riverpark). My party ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, the Chicken Curry, and the Samosa Chaat. The Samosa Chaat was amazing, a great combination of sweet and spicy. The Tikka Masala was a bit more tomato flavor and less creamy than other versions I've had, but good and flavorful. The Curry was what you would expect and also very good. My only complaint was that the Naan was maybe lacking a bit of salt in the dough and could have been more flavorful. Overall a great meal, I'll definitely be back and would highly recommend this restaurant. I can't comment too much on the service, as it was not very busy, but our waiter was pleasant and attentive. read more

Egh. Would not recommend. This is the less authentic Indian food I've ever had. You can tell they are either using canned or packaged curry pastes because the colors are neon unlike a natural curry would be where the spices are developed. Everything was lacking in flavor heavily or over cooked. My lentils were baby food at its worst. The portion sizes are very small for the price as well. The palak panner was also baby food with small panner triangles. After my sister had scooped hers there was almost no panner even left and I was so shocked. I thought she took it all but she did not they just didn't put much, then we were just left a weird bowl of mush. Save your money. read more

Food was bland. Got up charged for Garlic Naan without telling me it was going to be extra. I don't mind paying extra if I'm told ahead of time. I would say Tandoori Night and Curry House are better. Lunch special with the Naan was $25 and not worth it. There was no confusion. When I asked if he could make it garlic naan he said yes and walked away. It wasn't until I got the bill that I was made aware of the up charge. When I go to Tandoori Night and ask for garlic Naan they don't charge extra. So I won't make the mistake of returning here. I go for Indian food at least once a month and your restaurant is closer than my normal spots. You and him didn't care about the confusion until I posted a review. The gobi manchurian in particular was our favorite - spicy and savory. The food was hot and came out quickly and the staff were very nice. It's nice not having to rush in to make it by 2pm, like some other places. -The flavors of all the entrees were great. Nothing was too salty or burned. -The meat items I chose (sorry, I don't know the proper names) were fall-off-the-bone tender. -They have samosas! -The staff was attentive and fleet-footed. -Ice cream and tea were included without an upcharge. -All this for under $20 per person, out the door. The food was great we tried a variety of appetizers, including Malai Chaap, Paneer Malai Tikka, Chicken Tikka and for the main course, we tried in malai Kofta and Kadai paneer with Garlic Naan and believe me it was delicious.
