The garlic naan was my favorite but all 3 were incredible soft and amazing! - Malai Kofta: vegetable dumpling balls in a sweet, thick sauce - Goan (lamb) curry: amazing curry flavor and the lamb was tender and delicious. Would definitely recommend this dish - Mango lassi: I love this drink and it was a perfect supplement to the meal - super thick and creamy with a strong mango flavor Service was great - a nice outdoor seating area under a tarp for shade and with nice lighting at night. I'm the only person here but, it's early. They've just opened. Beer selection is very good, service is excellent and the food is oh so good. I'm having a Flying Horse, paneer tikka masala and aloo paratha. The paneer is, texture wise, perfect. Firm but not too firm. It melts in my mouth. The gravy is some if the best I've eaten. Full of flavor but could be a bit spicier for me. Of course, they ask your spice level and I said a 5 on a 1-10. Next time I will order a six or possibly seven. As far as ambience, it's nothing special. Booths, tables, pictures of Indian culture on the walls. Small. A few tables outside. I'm giving it a strong 3.5 but since there's no half points it's showing as a four. Definitely a 3.5 though! Oh, one shoutout to my server. He was really friendly and enjoyable. Started with the chicken samosa, then got the rolls masala with chicken and goat curry, and some garlic naan bread, (free if you check in), but make sure you tell them before hand or they won't like it hahah. My mom and I love to visit Tandoori Palace for Lunch. The restaurant is very peaceful and is a great place to sit and unwind. The staff and service are always amazing. The waitstaff is attentive and so polite. The food is delicious decadent and light too. Our favorite items are the chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, vindaloo and chefs naan basket. Depending on your appetite, Tandoori Palace has balanced lunch portions with soup and salad and those same items al la carts for a larger portion all for a great price. I've been going to this place for years, including when they were Passage to India under different ownership. The food is still great! Love the selection of curries for vegetarians. Today we ordered 3 vegetarian curries to share - the saag wala paneer (spinach based classic), bengan bharta (eggplant curry), and Kaju mushroom (cream based mushroom dish - similar to mushroom masala). Those who ate meat dishes got the chicken saag dish and mango pineapple chicken which I'm told we're both great. We tried the masala fries this time, and honestly they're just typical fries with a sauce on the side so I don't know if they're worth it. Bhindi Masala - despite being claimed by server to be crunchy, it was squishy and was deprived of any taste Butter Chicken - was the saving grace and was good. Kulchas were good as well . I did a Yelp check in and they wouldn't honor the free garlic. He said he couldn't comp it because it was after he already out the order In. I've checked in before and it was never a problem in the past. Just make it a point to say it prior or write that in the stipulations of the check in, but it's silly he wouldn't make an exception. Paneer pakoras were soft yet crispy and Malai Kofta/ Mushroom mutter were packed with flavors. They were creamy but not heavy, and not overly spiced - exactly how I like it. Naans were soft and authentic Punjabi style (although a few of them could be tad bit thinner). Chai was hot and refreshing after the meal. We packed Gajar Halwa in the dessert and it was the best part of the meal. Not super oily or sweet that would leave you guilty of over stuffing with extra calories.
