Dinner Buffet- Flank Steak, Chilie Verde Pork Belly and pasta.
    Kim C.

For a theme park hotel buffet, we enjoyed it. We ate the DINNER BUFFET. Fountain drinks are included. Unfortunately, there are no characters during the dinner buffet. We started eating around 7:40 pm. Dinner Hours (November) Saturday: 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm Price: Adults: $35.99 Kids: $20.85 Stations: * Carving Station * Asain Station * Taco Station * Salad Station * Kids Station * Soup * Dessert Kids Station had a good spread. Things my kids ate from the kids' area: - Pizza They replished this area a few times while we were there. I tried the pizza when it was first served and enjoyed it. - Chicken Tenders - Mac and Cheese - Corn & Carrots Items we liked: - Flank Steak, marbled potatoes, and vegetables. I would have really enjoyed it if it had been cooked medium-rare. - Chili Verde Pork Belly The pork belly was tender. - Fajitas They offered corn tortillas and flour. **Desserts** I was pleasantly surprised by the desserts. I liked: - Red Velvet Cake - Brownie - Chocolate Cake - Lemon Bar Service: You serve yourself. The staff did a great job clearing our table and checking in on us. Items at the buffet were replenished several times. We came to celebrate our friends daughters birthday. The birthday girl got a special brownie cookie with a candle, and the staff sang to her. Legoland is geared toward younger kids and has a height restriction on a handful of rides. We were once annual passholders. I wouldn't go out of my way to dine at this place, but if we were staying at the hotel or visiting the theme park, it would be a decent option--my kids like Legos, but are a bit older.

The buffet breakfast is included in the castle hotel lodging package . It is really convenient for morning early park access. And you need to make reservation before coming. It is part of the original Lego hotel, the decoration looks the same as couple years ago with other Yelpers posted. It is a little outdated but still neat and clean enough to enjoy. The majority selection food maintained the same old favorite: biscuits, gravy, bacon, ham, toast , oatmeal, French toast stick ( one of my favorite).... More details showed in attached photos. Definitely good choice for family with kids, the location convenience is unbeatable. Loaded your stomach and enjoy the fun later in the themed park.

Lego land restaurant. Pretty busy. A lot going on but pleasantly surprised how organized everything was. We had 8:30am reservations and the reservation line was a lot shorter than the walk in line. That alone was a plus. The kids were excited to serve themselves because it was their height stations. Food was good. Nothing special. The restaurant was a bit noisy but we didn't expect anything less because I had two kids under 7 with me that helped contribute to the noise. We left with fully belly's and were excited to start the day at Legoland. I was able to take a banana to go was came in handy like an hour later

Part of being staying at the Lego Hotel was getting a free breakfast? What would I know? I didn't pay for it. Ahaha. Advanced reservation is highly recommended. But the food was great. A typical American breakfast, eggs, sausages, bacons, biscuits, cereals, muffins, all sort of fruits, and many more. Coffee was greatfully strong but not thick and muddy like navy chief coffee. Lol. Food trays were constantly refilled. Although noisy with many happy children, it was a civil, courteous, and happy environment. Enjoy the meal when you are lucky enough to stay this resort hotel.

AYCE breakfast buffet at LEGOland Hotel. What you don't really know is... you need to make a reservation to dine in. It's included if you book a stay at the hotel. So it's worth a visit since you already paid for it. It has a decent variety that will satisfy the little ones. Staff do their best to clean and refill items but from my perspective they couldn't keep up. There was just so much going on inside especially with the little ones running around and making messes. I do love that there's a small section dedicated to the little ones where they can actually reach for the items themselves like muffins and fruits. Buffet items included: oatmeal, bacon, sausage, quiche, salad, fountain drinks, scrambled eggs, chocolate pancakes, etc. I definitely would come back if I was staying at the hotel again.

Honestly surprised at how good the food was at the Legoland resort. Usually at these locations they don't care about food quality since we're going wether the food is good or not. Breakfast is included when you stay at the hotel and it was delicious. We made reservations every morning to make sure we got the front of the line but we really didn't need them. We got sat right away every single day. There was a lot of food options from cereal, to biscuits and gravy. I loved that there was something for everyone. When you have kids and a picky husband it's hard for us to have something to eat at one location every day. I don't think I'll be back at Legoland for sometime (my kids are getting too old) but I would definitely recommend staying at the hotel and eating at Bricks.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!! Overpriced!! If we can give 0 star, this restaurant deserves 0!!!! Food choices and quality are terrible. We were seated @7:52. We were not told prior to our payment that buffet will close at 8:30pm. As soon as we enter, there were almost nothing. Empty pizza plates, mac and cheese not refilled. Tri tip gone . Water tasted juice. Also, very, very dirty. No one was maintaining the cleanliness. I have to ask the staff that the juices were all tasted water already. And that was only at 8pm. Definitely a ripoff!!! Paid $100 for a poor quantity and quality of foods. A highway robbery for what supposedly a family friendly restaurant!!

The place smells decent, decently easy to find so no issues there. Cleanliness: the Buffett definitely needs some upgrading and cleaning. The rug smells and feels sticky to walk on, the counter area was clean but the ice cream section needed a deep clean, the cones were out of the packing and stale. The sprinkles were covered in ice cream and all over the place. The machine was covered in dried ice cream and caked on. I did not go into the restrooms, so I am not sure Food: cold. Everything except for the hibachi I got was cold. Shrimp, pork, chicken, all cold. They have an okay variety of deserts but other than the coffee and orange ones they were pretty bad. The flavor of the food was good, but the temperature of it was what really grossed me out and worry about food poisoning. It was during dinner at around 4pm so crab legs were included. My daughter devoured them and so did I. Best part of the buffet. Customer service: the waiters were very nice and kept our table clear. As soon as they notice we had our empty plates they would come around and grab them. I did notice and maybe it was just for that moment but we did get different waiters just grabbing our plates. Maybe they are doing a system where everyone waits on every table. Whatever they were doing it worked! We did mention at the end that our food was cold after we had paid and all because we were asked how we liked it. She did apologize and told us we should have brought up sooner so they could warm it up. That since it was slow the food gets cold. It was nice she apologized and all, but working in the food industry myself it is not any of the customers job to remind you to keep an eye on food temps. And you're supposed to keep food hot. Regardless they were nice. Would I come back? No. Would I recommend it? No. $60 for two adults $9 for my 4 yr old and $5 for my two yr old. So basically $80 for a family of 4 for cold food. Flavor was good though. So if you want to try it maybe you're lucky and get hot foods

BUT this one ain't it! There were a handful of items that were decently edible like mashed potatoes and gravy. The salad bar was also alright. It's difficult to mess up chopped lettuce mix because it only requires opening a bag or container and pouring the contents into the bin. Fried chicken was fine as long as you are able to get a piece or two. I noticed if you come in later in the evening, the food is not replenished so you are stuck with bottom of the bin caked on dry remnants. Here are the highlights: the server bringing the drinks and busing tables was doing her best to be happy and welcoming. One of the cooks was very courteous and also did her best to anticipate customer needs. They get two thumbs up! Now for the fun part: The clam chowder was too salty and had an aftertaste of old dirty towel, promising a fitting end to my evening with a bad tummy ache. The cook making the steak didn't seem to care about communicating a single word with the customers. Her sole purpose was to repeatedly flip something that looked like meat and point to a bin full of burned protein hockey pucks. I noticed how the line of hungry patrons grew with eager anticipation as she stopped flipping and started attempting to slice. As each diner finally walked away with something on their plate, she was free to disappear in the back to probably make more clam chowder. I watched a couple seated near me with steak on their plate. Husband was breaking a sweat trying to slice a piece while his wife was busy trying to gracefully eject something inedible from her mouth. Now on to the pinnacle of the meal - dessert time. There wasn't much left, so I chose a slice of pecan pie. It looked promising, like something you could pick up at the local grocery store, but that's where any similarity ends. It tasted old and stale, like it was made from expired corn syrup found at the bottom of the moldy basement. The soft serve ice cream machine was screaming like an exit door alarm every time someone pulled the arm to coax out some frozen ice milk. Then I spotted the highlight of the evening. I didn't think it was possible to mess up jello, but heck you learn something new everyday. I captured that masterpiece in a photo. Sadly, the owner of this location really needs to put many improvements in place. People do enjoy going to buffets and truly miss Souplantation and HomeTown Buffet. Golden Corral has the potential to fill this gap. It is in a good location anchored by Target with lots of parking to serve a busy neighborhood in oceanside. It also has a few employees who still care to do a good job. So please take the good location and good staff and make this Golden Corral a worthy business for hungry patrons looking to spend money at a place with quality food and variety.

Prior to dining at the restaurant, I contacted your corporate office seeking assistance with a gift card problem. I was assisted by an employee (Erna Moyers) whose email signature identified her as the receptionist. I also called and asked to speak with a manager and Erna refused to transfer me to a manager. She informed me that she had spoken with the restaurant manager and assured me that everything was in order and that there would be no issues when I arrived for dinner. Unfortunately, when it came time to pay, that was not the case. Despite my efforts to address the issue in advance, the gift card problem had not been resolved. What should have been a simple transaction became an uncomfortable and embarrassing ordeal in front of my guest. Most concerning was that the manager took my phone and searched through my emails in an attempt to locate information related to the gift card. While I gave permission because I was trying to resolve the situation, it felt highly inappropriate and should never have been necessary. Had the issue been properly handled before my visit, none of this would have occurred. I am also frustrated that when I previously requested to speak directly with a manager, I was not given that opportunity. Instead, I was told the matter had been addressed, which proved to be inaccurate. I have enjoyed King's Fish House in the past, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I would appreciate hearing from someone in management who has the authority to review what occurred and explain how this situation was allowed to happen after I had made a good-faith effort to resolve it beforehand. Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to your response.

Parking was valet only which was quick and seamless (and free!). The staff at the entry of the hotel was super helpful in providing directions to get down to the pool as one of my girlfriend's said it was a little confusing to find, but I was given a clear guide on how to get down there and got there without issue. We had our own server at the cabana who provided us with our free fruit plate and bottle of bubbly to share, and took food and drink orders. She and her coworkers checked on us pretty frequently and kept us well-stocked. The day was a little overcast and cloudy but the pool was a lovely cool temp, and the jacuzzi was in the same general area so when we got a little chilly we hopped on over. After spending some time in the adult-only pool area, we headed up to the family friendly deck and took a couple of runs down the slides, which was super fun. Around the time we were meant to clear out, our server was super sweet and let us know they would just start to pick up around us but we were welcome to stay longer if we wanted to, since there was no one coming in behind us. We continued relaxing until we were all ready to go but first we got to chatting with another staff member, Bryan, who was super rad and shared all his favorite nearby spots to eat. The staff is really so wonderful here! Very friendly and professional. Overall my first visit to the Park Hyatt Aviara was very enjoyable, and I would absolutely visit again (preferably on a hot, sunny day). Highly recommend for any and all poolside celebrations!
