I don't know how I've been alive for 36.5 years and hadn't tried samosa pizza before now. I kept saying aloud, "every bite just gets better and better." There are a lot of great Indian restaurants in the Cleveland area, and even just Parma. This now ranks as my favorite. On top of that, the vibes and ambience are very chill. Great decor. A+++; 10/10; 5 stars; Siskel and Ebert give it two thumbs up. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

This year's birthday outing took us to northern shores, thundering waterfalls and Masala Monsoon! We arrived hungry after hiking at CVNP. Very strikingly pretty decor! We loved the free crunchy snacks and fresh mint chutney. We started with the Lasuni Gobi appetizer, a fried cauliflower in chili sauce that rocked both our worlds. We wanted to try the Velvet Broccoli, another vegetarian dish, but alas it somehow came contaminated with chicken. Thankfully, the staff rectified the situation and we got a second order of the incredible Lasuni Gobi instead. I had a new-to-me curry, the Lababdar paneer, which was utterly delicious and perfectly spiced. We shared the bread basket and bestie had a mild veggie curry. We were treated to the Gulab jamun for dessert on the house. Love the romantic decor, awesome grub and friendly helpful service. We will be back!

We are big fans, and owners of the Royal Enfield brand of motorcycle, which had a large display at the show, and was really the main reason why we drove to the show from Pittsburgh. After the show, we wanted to get something to eat, and I suggested Indian, so we did a Yelp search and the second listing to come up was called "Chennai Delicacy" . . . and believe it or not, the city of Chennai, in India, just so happens to be where the Royal Enfield motorcycles are produced, and where our bikes were made (Crazy coincidence huh?). So we felt like it was almost our destiny to eat here. I called them on the phone just to make sure they were open, and the owner told me, that they were not really a full-service restaurant, but they had some tables and we could eat there if we wanted. He also said . . . "We are not a fancy place, but the food is really good," and that is exactly what we found . . . a small take-out counter, that had food packaged to go, not very fancy, but the food was really good (it was heated up in plastic containers and served with plastic utensils and disposable plates). The owner was so nice when we arrived, he told us about how he makes everything homemade, and that everything is very healthy. He explained the dishes on the menu. My friends went with chicken dishes (Masala and Butter) and I wanted to try something a little bit different, so I asked about the "Moong Kootu," which happened to be a vegan dish, made from Lentils (Dal), and it was really good, a bit on the spicy side, but not super spicy. We also shared an order of bread (Methi flavored), and everyone liked their food. We talked to the owner, and he told us a little bit about his restaurant, how he does a lot of catering to hospitals and other businesses, and also where he was from in India, and I spoke a little bit to him in Hindi also (I am currently learning it). The food was delicious, I am giving four stars, because I am a big fan of the food, and I enjoyed talking to the owner. Cheers!

The service is pretty slow but am assuming it is because it's connected to a grocery store so the same employees are going back and forth from restaurant to store. The vibe of the place is pretty old but it doesn't really matter to me when the food is clean and yummy. You're able to pick the spice level for the food and everything on the menu is vegetarian which is a cool change!

When we arrived at 8:15 (they close at 9) on a Saturday night, there were only two other tables of people dining, but in the next half hour, three more tables came in. The space is quite plain (little decor), with wood tables, a tv playing an Indian movie, and yellow walls. They are also connected to (same owners I presume) an Indian grocery store. Our order consisted of chai, veggie spring rolls, pani puri, masala paneer dosa, and special dosa. The food came out timely, hot, and the service was quick and efficient. The spring rolls were mediocre but everything else was sooooo yummy. I could eat that dosa every day and be totally happy. The food was quite spicy and very flavorful. I'll need to order a Lassi to help out my low-spice tolerance but it was the type of spicy that was not overpowering and tasted great. I'm looking forward to going again soon!

A bright, cheery setting with an Al fresco offering and a beautiful table spread makes you feel like royalty. We each ordered something different and there were positives and negatives for each. The tandoori chicken was good but the texture was a little off-putting. The goat fry biryani tasted incredibly unctuous and meaty, but was surprisingly light. The issue, however, is that it was cooked on the bone and said bones were left in the dish (same with the chicken biryani). Having to fight getting the meat off the bone was a chore, but the occasional bone sliver in a rice dish made for a less than pleasant eating experience (and a dangerous one at that). Finally, the cashew chicken was delightful, but even ordered mild, it was painfully spicy. The food came out at different times, like 5-7 minute intervals for each diner and the pacing was....hmm....let's say it was not concerned with speed...at all...even a little bit. For the money, it was worth the price as the portions were gigantic. The real question...would I go again? If I'm out that way and want Indian cuisine...sure. Would I go out of my way...not so much.

For lunch, my friend and I split a pani poori appetizer, thali with goat, and chicken jhol momo. Before our appetizer arrived, the server presented us with complimentary bowls of lentil soup. The soup was warm, flavorful, and comforting, perfect for January weather. Next came the pani poori. The little crispy balls were served cold and made for refreshing & tasty treats. They were great on their own and even better when dipped into the accompanying "sour water," which was a bit spicy and equally refreshing (FYI - the sour water is heavy on the cilantro, so if you don't like cilantro, just be aware!). The thali came with an abundance of food, and we enjoyed almost everything on it. The platter came with a few different curries that were all delicious and well-spiced. One of them had a good portion of tender goat, and another had fried cauliflower and potatoes I couldn't get enough of. The thali also came with a scoop of rice. When we were done with the scoop of rice but only halfway done with the curries, the staff was sweet enough to bring us an extra plate of rice to soak up the rest of the curries. The platter also came with a piece of gulab jamun, which was sweet and rich. In addition, the thali came with a small serving of mango achar. I took a bite, and the pickled mango took my tongue on a journey, LOL. First, I got hit with the super saltiness, then the super sourness, and finally the lingering, intense spiciness. I can't say the mango achar was to my liking, but I don't regret trying it! The chicken jhol momo was fantastic as well, and I couldn't get enough of the tender steamed dumplings and that excellent broth!
