While doing further diagnosis on the Blazer James noticed the Rear Shackles on the leaf springs were so rusted it was a safety hazard and they could break at anytime. I asked James to install a complete exhaust system, new shocks, ignition coil, rotate the tires and he gladly accepted every job. He was very nice and scheduling a time to meet with him was also great because unlike other shops he made himself available to suit my schedule which is almost unheard of these days. He was also kind enough to repair a tire on my truck that was going flat. He said bring it out asap and he would fix it and in 15 minutes he had the self tapping screw removed and a rubber tire plug installed. You just don't expect this type of service these days but James is one of the few great people still putting people first. His work is top quality and he works on minor and major repairs as if his family was going to be riding in every vehicle he services. His prices are extremely reasonable and I believe he will match or beat any written quote you receive from other mechanics. I usually don't give reviews for anything but I decided to so hopefully other people who want to be treated fairly will give James a chance. Trust me, you won't regret the old fashioned service from a very knowledgeable guy.

I'm an 18 year old girl , that's right there probably can tell you that other than my car having 4 tires and a steering wheel i have no idea how to fix/ check anything else. My boyfriend that i'm very thankful for , decided to check my tire pressure just because i just got the car. I got a 2016 Hyundai Elantra , pretty small car , MY PSI WAS OVER 55 on all 4 tires. I found this out after we went to ocean city with 55 PSI and my low tire pressure light came on. We obviously figured i ran over a rock or something that was able to stab my tire and since it was too full with no give whatever i ran over was likely to puncture through, and it did. i already have a patch in one of my tires and every once in awhile i have to put air in another tire.. not too sure why yet. but needless to say don't be like me if you're going to buy a car from rob. ask AS MANY questions as you can. check everything you're able to check while you're there. AND DONT TAKE "oh he's my friend i trust him" as an answer. How do you own a used car lot as well as have a shop and not know to look on the inside of the door to find the right PSI. I don't know if he had it that high for show to make the tires look better or what but i ended up with a 3 1/2 inch construction nail in my back tire from this issue. If you're reading this review to decide whether or not to go there .. just don't.

Boy, did these guys take ME for a ride! I had just bought a Jeep and was taking a trip around the…read morecountry. I knew I would need to get an oil change a couple of times going around, and when it was time, we were in Gettysburgh. We had limited options, and Mike's Kars had good review, and he was a mile from our hotel... so... we took a chance. Pros: Seemed to do adequate work, we didn't have any issues with the car. They came and picked us up CONS: OMG where do I start. This guy ripped us off at every opportunity. 1. I had just purchased NEW bigger off-road tires and we had about 2000 miles on them. Mike decides it's time for my 41k service, and that included a TIRE ROTATION! He KNEW they were new tires. We wer traveling and exhausted and had exactly one day to get the oil changed before heading to our next destination, and extended our hotel to get this done, so I didn't THINK about it but he CHARGED ME $200 TO ROTATE BRAND NEW TIRES! 2. He told me my battery needed replacing, probably the original one, blah blah. I have no idea if it really needed it or not, but he used a scare tactic. I was traveling with my daughter and he mentioned "What if it doesn't start and you are in the middle of no where." I went ahead with the battery but he charged me a WHOPPING $400 FOR IT!! I called my dealer when I got home today and he told me a battery for that Jeep costs $100!! And that I got ripped off once again. 3. He also told me that my radiator fluid was turning acidic and needed flushing. ANOTHER WHOPPING $200+ for that. I asked my dealer who looked at the inspection report for my Certified Pre-Owned Jeep and the chemical report when sold to me was no where near what this guy was telling me. 4. He also said there was a leaky seal on one of the ball bearings and they "discovered" it when the rotated the tires. My dealer said a leaky seal could definitely have waited. 5. Finally, the oil change we came IN for. Instead of giving me Full Synthetic oil which everywhere else was $48, he gave me some kind of blend and charged me another $200 or so. When I got out of there he had stripped us of $1300. Two girls on a road trip. He saw us coming a MILE away and took advantage at every turn. My dealer said all of that would have been taken care of at ANY dealership and that this guy charged me about 4X what it would have cost and of course, the leaky seal and radiator flush, if it was really needed, would have been NO charge. So. They may do ok work, and they may be convenient. But they will take advantage, overcharge, and rip you off every chance you give them. I do NOT recommend these people at all and am MORTIFIED that they did this, and charged over $1300 for what should have cost us around $150.
